♃ ---- jupiter stood in the window unabashed, his naked form bathing in the sunlight and his skin glowing from the radiance. jupiter was a frigid planet with a cold surface so the celestial’s skin was always cold to the touch. he found himself basking in solar rays often like a lizard on a rock outside. jupiter turned and smiled at the man, trying to gesture that he wasn’t worried by shaking the curtains and leaving them where they were.

“If you’re going to leave the bed and approach the windows, at least cover up. You don’t want to have anything of you shown up in the media of half the world.” Deck pointed with a simple shrug as he remained on the bed, sitting up once he found himself alone and reaching for a cigar to lit up.

♃ ---- jupiter scoured the woods, looking for earth. moon said that this is where earth was likely to be and jupiter was hoping that this was the set of forest that he would be in instead of any of the other millions of forests that existed on the planet. when he saw a figure through the trees, he immediately thought it could be earth.
‘ there you are.’ he thought. until he approached the figure. who was definitely not earth. ‘ oh. ‘ the mute didn’t know how to get across that he had the wrong person, so he put his hands up in front of himself.

puck was out of breath, his poor body heaving with distress as he fled his faerie realm. how dare they try to marry him off… and how dare they tell him on the same day he was to be wed. the faerie prince burst through the gate, a waterfall deep in the forest. he fell into a shallow stream with a rough grunt. the gate sealed behind him. puck wandered through the thick forest buck naked (for the fae didn’t wear clothes), glittery skin shimmering. he spied a figure int he distance and got both excited and curious.
a mortal?
puck continued on his journey towards the figure, watching them grow larger as they drew closer. he noticed the hands up… was it a greeting? puck could not tell and so replicated, hands up in front of him as he approached the stranger. “wow.” puck blurted, looking up at the tall well built individual. but he couldn’t fathom what was on the man. to humans, it were clothes, but puck was confused. “why do you cover yourself? do mortal customs not allow expression of the skin? and when can i put my hands down?” he chimed so brazenly, unabashed by his naked appearance.
“i am puck! prince of the faeries. and you are?”
♃ —- this man was definitely not earth. and he was very very very naked. he didn’t seem embarrassed by jupiter’s presence though. which was odd. typically mortals cowered once you saw their private parts or their bare bodies when you weren’t supposed to.
‘ oh gods. ‘ jupiter thought to himself. what had he gotten himself into? as soon as he found earth he was certain to give him a proper thrashing for the mess that he had gotten his brother enthralled in. jupiter pulled out his phone and began typing away in his text-to-speech app and soon let the robotic phone voice do it’s thing.
“ I AM JUPITER. I AM LOOKING FOR MY BROTHER. YOU ARE NOT HIM. MY APOLOGIES.” jupiter was confused by his usage of the word ‘mortal’ to describe him. since that’s typically how he and the other celestials described everyone and everything else. he wasn’t going to disclose the fact that he wasn’t mortal on the not so off chance that this was not a fairy prince and just some naked loon in the woods.

puck stood brazen, bold as brass as he was not aware that being so naked was such a shy thing in this mortal realm. why being naked allowed him to best connect with nature. and this could be exhibited by the healthy flourish the greenery around them developed from the presence of the fae. even small patches of flowers began to slowly spring up.
but what was this contraption? puck took a step closer, looking down at the little magic box in the larger male’s hands. “why what is this little-” but he fae was cut short by the robotic sound, the fae jumping back in surprise, his beefy pecs bouncing as he did so. “did that just talk?” the fae was puzzled by the technology, pointing a glittery finger at the phone.
but puck slowly began to piece it together. “oh… wait. are you mute? oh i understand! well good news for you! i’m a faerie -duh- and faeries have telepatic abilities!” he giggled softly. “it’s how we all communicate back in my realm. i’m not that great with it. but i can have telepathic conversations!” he bubbly smiled, rocking back and forth on his heels. “would you like to try?”
♃ —- even if what he said was true, jupiter didn’t want someone he had only just met prying through his thoughts. so he gestured ‘no’ as politely as he could. even still---the prospect was tempting. it would save a lot of time if people could just hear what he was thinking. either this man was from out of this world or he needed serious professional help. jupiter wasn’t sure if he had the time to figure it out, since earth had been out of sight for so long. all of the planets took turns monitoring him in case his conditions got any worse.
jupiter also had to stop himself from taking a peek at the fairy’s naked form every now and then. this wasn’t the time to be window shopping.
jupiter typed on his phone once more. “ YES. I AM MUTE. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN HERE IN THE WOODS ? “ he typed once again. “ WHAT IS YOUR NAME ? “
