I was bored so I colored that one Peridot image from a while ago. I was happy to experiment with shading and brush textures for once so it all just works out. Hope you liiiiiikkkkeee iiiiiiitttttt. <3

I'm trying out Inktober this year! I didn't have enough time yesterday to get this done so it's a day late but at least it's here! The first prompt was Swift so I drew Chell from Portal (a game which I recently played) because you'd probably have to be pretty quick to be able to take down a couple of omnipotent AI. It was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the prompt so yeah here's Chell :3

And here's day 2! For this prompt I drew my original character Kalin because their thoughts are often very divided and they struggle to choose between logic and imagination. I haven't fully established their character yet but I know I want there to be a sense of man vs. self in their actions. So those are the Inktober drawings I did today. This has so far been really fun and I hope I can keep it up for the whole month!

Here's my drawing for Inktober day 3! The prompt was poison so of course I drew the creepy cultist himself, Daniel from Camp Camp. I thought it was fitting being that he did try to kill a bunch of kids using poisoned Kool-aid. Also if you can't tell I didn't know what to do with the background so I just drew some cartoon-y trees. :)

Inktober day 4 drawing! This is another character of mine named Ava. I drew her for this prompt because she fears being trapped and would probably hate being underwater. I had a lot of fun with this because I got to play with perspective a bit and also come up with items that Ava might carry around with her. Also, since you probably can't tell, I tried to make the shadows at the bottom look kinda pixelated/glitchy as a hint to Ava's backstory ;)

Inktober days 5-8!!! I'm so sorry that these are late, I was focusing on other things at the time. But here they are and I will try my hardest to get caught up by the end of the week! 

Day 5's prompt was Long so I drew Tulip and One-One from Infinity Train because they are literally on an infinite train. Please ignore the fact that the line art is really bad, I'm not used to drawing trains or anything that could be compared to a building.

Day 6's prompt was Sword and all I could think of was the Flaming Poisoning Raging Sword of Doom from The Adventure Zone so yeah have this. Yay for semi-unoriginal character designs and little experience drawing armor and weapons. (Also I haven't finished listening to the finale yet so feel free to yell at me about that until I do it)

Day 7's prompt Shy so I drew Evan from Dear Evan Hansen because he has social anxiety (like me!) And often people will think that it just means we're shy when really it's something a lot more difficult to deal with. 

Day 8's prompt was Crooked and so I drew Jasper from Steven Universe because it was all I could think of that would at least slightly fit the prompt. So yeah have Jasper getting corrupted because I couldn't think of anything else.

That's all for now but I should have Day 9-12's drawings done tomorrow so yeah be excited for that I guess.

Inktober days 9-12!!! I know I said I would post this the day after the last ones, and I had it done, but I just didn’t feel like writing all these words but now I’m making myself do it cuz I still wanna do Inktober and I don’t have much time left. Anyways, on to the explanations.

Day 9: So this requires a bit of explaining but basically I didn’t know what to draw for the prompt and so my friend was helping me out. He said the word screech reminded him of ghosts so I drew Jasper from Camp Camp because he’s a ghost.

Day 10: The prompt was Gigantic so I drew GLaDOS from Portal because I mean she’s like super huge and intimidating. If you just ignore the fact that I can’t draw machinery then the drawing might end up looking slightly okay.

Day 11: Okay so I wasn’t planning on drawing Niko for this prompt but I decided that I didn’t want to attempt to draw another thing from Portal and so I chose a scene from my other favorite game, OneShot. I enjoyed making this one (mostly cuz I just freaking love OneShot) and it helped me practice drawing Niko because every time I draw them I tend to heck something up.

Day 12: The prompt was Shattered so I thought that was a pretty clear sign that I should draw something from Steven Universe and instead of going with the obvious Pink Diamond as my character of focus I decided to go with Lapis Lazuli just because I thought it would look better. (Also I never intended the stars to be so symbolic, I just can’t draw stars any other way but hey it works)

So what I plan to do for the rest of Inktober is to finish all the prompts I’ve already started or still really want to do and hope I can have them all complete by October 31st. But yeah, sorry I couldn’t do all of them. I think I gave myself a bit too much to do being as this is my first year doing this. Let’s hope I can do better next year.

I have like so many projects I want to work on and so many things I want to make.

Some of them are super-big-won't-happen-for-a-really-long-time-if-they-even-do-happen projects while others are hey-I-can-start-work-on-this-now-if-I-really-want-to-because-I-have-the-skills-I-need-for-it projects and I love all of them.

I just have like so many ideas for things I enjoy, like I wanna make a cartoon, a video game, a webcomic, and a bunch of short stories. A lot of these I've already started planning for too and it just make me so happy that I'm actually starting to work on these super huge projects.

Anyways, I was just happy about the realization that all these far-off things aren't as far-off anymore and I really hope I get time to work on these soon.

I imagine the color scheme to be mainly neon blue/electric blue (really just some sort of bright contrasting blue) and black with accents of gray or light blue
