Why r ppl scared of death

well it's google after all, and not all sources are reliable-

but some do agree with the d-orbital thing while others completely ignore it. I think this is because the sources who ignore it are mainly targeting the younger or more inexperienced audiences who don't need to know complicated things like orbitals and only need to understand that if an atom has 8 valence electrons it is more stable
