the way jeon pildo storyline had no reason being like that
my name
when i tell you i have screamed kicked shouted squealed and cried
i. the first time i ever saw han so hee was in soundtrack #1 so u can imagine the shock i got. the action? spectacular. the acting? fantabulous. the beautiful gory storyline? im in love.
ii. this is the second show in which i have shed actual tears (first one was guardian). the beautiful beautiful way they showed us the pain of both jiwoo and choi mujin, and we knew that jiwoo’s dad was definitely attached to both dongcheon members and his job so it definitely had to have hurt. choi mujin’s character was so spectacularly layered, instead of being a one dimensional evil druglord. i loved that whatever he did, we could see the pain in his eyes (im trying to make this as spoiler less as possible shutup)
iii. jeon pildo. do NOT get me started on that man. i dont think if i start ill be able to stop. HE DESERVED BETTER???? he was such an all rounder cutie pie and i was so happy when he defended jiwoo
iv. another thing i loved : unlike hollywood, kdramas dont shy away from making their heroines unattractive while fighting. i mean, how can hollywood heroines be flipped once punched twice kicked thrice and their hair is still set with a little dribble of blood from their lips? fuck yku man
jiwoo was shown crazy and mad and evil and vengeful and sentimental and stoic but we saw her longing for her life with her dad. and i think the ending, with the photo of both her dad and her on the grave, it was somehow a little bow on top.
ps: a little special point for do gangjae. that man was HOT
