I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS IDEA!!!!

Helluvaverse rewrite ideas: Mrs. Mayberry × Princess Stella Goetia

When she first fell to Hell, Mrs. Mayberry was unfamiliar with the Goetia family considering she was still a new sinner in Hell. Even though she misses her time as a school teacher and spending time with her students, she tried to make due with the demonic children in the Pride Ring and teaching them everything she knows.

One day, she noticed a rather tall bird demon hiding away from something (or someone). Being the type to be a caring person to children, as well as noticing that this demon was crying, Mayberry asks her what's wrong.

At first, the girl didn't wanna talk to her since she was a stranger. It was understandable since Mayberry wasn't fully aware of the Goetia family herself. However, she did reassure this bird that she was a school teacher once and talked to students about their problems sometimes. Slowly losing her guard, the bird girl introduces herself as Octavia.

Octavia then explains to Mayberry that she ran away from home because of her dad neglecting her over someone he cheated on her mother for. Remembering that she's had a cheating husband when she was still alive, Mayberry tried to comfort Via in her struggles to have a normal life while this is happening. Via appreciated that someone as kind and compassionate as her was willing to listen to her problems without telling her to cut her dad some some slack for ignoring her.

When Via wanted to go back to her parents, she specifically asks to go back to her mother as she had a better relationship with her than her dad. Considering how Mayberry feels about men after her fall, she would agree to bring her back to her mother. At that time, Stella was living with her brother, Andrealphus, so they had to travel to the cold border of the Pride Ring to get Via home.

The moment Octavia and Mayberry approached Andre's castle, Stella greets her daughter back home, completely ignoring the sinner who was with her. It wasn't until Octavia introduced Mayberry to Stella that she took notice of the tiny little demon. To Stella, she was just another sinner who happened to have helped with finding her daughter. To Mayberry, however, Stella was almost that of an angelic being (at least, for Hell's standards); a swan with a motif for stars and constellations in a kingdom made of ice. She was beautiful. A bit of a bitch, but beautiful.

As a reward for finding Octavia, Stella suggested giving her a tiny bit of Andre's money. Mayberry denies the money, but wouldn't mind spending more time getting to know about her, especially hearing everything from Octavia's point of view. At first, Stella was already dealing with enough bullshit having a husband who'd rather sleep with an imp than spend time with his own daughter, so she was hesitant on accepting the invitation. Mayberry understood why she'd feel like rejecting her proposal and left.

After that, whenever Via and Stella were out having a "girl's night/day out", Via would always be happy to see Mrs. Mayberry in public after their talk. Stella would later realize that she meant a great deal to Via and decided to begrudgingly accept the idea of them spending time together. After all, as long as she isn't a cheating prick like her ex-husband is and Via likes having her around, why not become a bit close to someone like her?

When they decided to get together for a private tea party, Stella would ask some questions about what exactly Via talked to her about. Considering it was hard to disclose such personal information from someone in a vulnerable state like Octavia's, Mayberry explained that Via was extremely unhappy having to move between her parents' homes. Via was not happy about having a father who was neglectful of her, but she also didn't like having a mother who scared her for wanting Stolas dead. She could understand why Stella would want her husband dead since she, too, had a similar relationship with her husband.

Stella realized that she actually found a woman that she could actually relate to. It was strange that a pathetic little creature such as a sinner would deal with problems similar to hers, but it felt genuinely nice to have someone who gets how she feels. It was a bit annoying having someone be so particular about her own behavior.

Mayberry would likely be the type of person who could help Stella with being so overbearing with her, especially since she's so close to adulthood. She'd, also, try to help Stella with having to spoil her daughter less as she isn't a small child anymore. As for her own behavior, Stella enjoys having someone to listen to her about stars and constellations while sharing her own input on the matter. It was refreshing that they could actually bond over something as beautiful as the stars, even if it was more Stella's interest than Mayberry's.

Stella slowly develops some kind of romantic attraction towards Mayberry. She denied it at first considering she was still mad about the situation involving Stolas and Blitzø, but she did realize that Mayberry wasn't the type to be like her ex-husband or his sentient sex toy. She treated both her and Via as people with voices of their own and it was actually sweet that she'd be patient enough to deal with her bratty behavior. Although she knows how people would react if anyone found out about her feelings towards a sinner, it was at least better than having her be in a relationship with an imp.

As Stella and Mayberry's feelings towards each other grew, they secretly asked each other if they could become a couple. Getting to know each other and Via quite well since Mayberry first came to the castle, they start dating only as long as their relationship stays as a secret from Stella's brother.

Andrealphus soon gets suspicious of his sister having a strange little "friendship" with Mrs. Mayberry. He was already disgusted by having a sinner in his castle to spend time with his niece, but Stella taking a liking for her as well? This was just too much for him. He'd have to deal with having his sister and his niece around already, but now a lowlife sinner is visiting the castle often? Why is that? And why does his own sister get so giddy whenever she comes over? It didn't connect with him how much Stella felt trapped in her past relationship with Stolas, so he thought, Honest to Lilith, as long as we have Via to get money or power, who am I to give a shit about what my sister does? She has a friend now? Fucking good for her!
