laying in the comfort of your own bed late at night as you listened to the soft sound of music that played on your phone as niki laid beside you, no words had been spoken in the darkly lit room in over an hour yet it didn’t feel uncomfortable at all, both feeling peaceful in the warm silence. ballad after ballad played until a specific song that you had sent niki began playing. he hummed along to the sweet melody recalling the memory of you sending him your playlist and him taking the time to carefully memorize each and every one.

“do you listen to that playlist every night? i’ve been hearing those songs on repeat..” jungwon had originally opened the door to niki’s bedroom to explain to him to sleep early because they had early schedules in the morning but instead ended up questioning him about soft music thats been playing for several hours. niki concealed the urge to smile like an idiot before nodding, “yeah, what about it?” jungwon gave him a playful scoff, “whatever, just go to sleep okay? and turn it off im tired of hearing those songs over and over again.” niki nodded even though he knew he wasn’t gonna do that. jungwon will live and how could he not have it on repeat? it was a mix of your favorite songs and one thing about niki is that he will do anything if it meant learning more about your favorite things simply because he enjoyed doing it. its not like you even had the same music taste either, honestly it was quite different but he’s delighted to learn even the smallest things about you, blinded by love and wanting to consume everything about you down to the slightest details.

you smiled softly as you turned to look at him with hooded eyes, “you like this song?” he lightly chuckled and nodded, “of course i do, i like it because you like it”

When you first started dating riki, you weren't very confident in your body. As you guys got closer though, he made you very sure of yourself and your confidence led to you wearing more girly and revealing clothing.

Of course he didn't say anything at first because he knows how long it took you to gain such confidence, but sometimes he just doesn't like how other guys stare when you guys are out together.

"Are you sure you're wearing that?.. It's pretty revealing.." Riki had asked you as you finished your makeup, getting ready to leave. "Is something wrong?... I usually dress like this.."

"That's the problem.." He misspoke and when your face fell he immediately felt bad. "No, baby.. That's not what I meant! I just.. You're so amazing and you're so pretty.. I don't want other people to see you this way."

You had simply chuckled at the explanation, cupping his cheeks. "It doesn't matter how other people see me because I'm yours, Riki... Only yours."

He'd smile at you, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "Okay then..."

Third Person POV~

You had been hanging out with Sunoo all day, as a way to get back at Riki for ignoring you to play video games with Jake, but he clearly didn't care.

This only made you more frustrated. All you wanted was his attention, but sometimes it's so hard to get it. And he knows it, but he likes the idea of making you mad sometimes.

He likes to see how you react, because then he gets an excuse to tease you.

"Riki... You've been playing this stupid game all day.." You sat beside him on the couch, grabbing his arm as he sighed. "Shortcake, you're gonna make me lose."

"I hate it when you call me that." You groan, slapping his arm as he laughs, kissing your cheek. "Let me finish this game and then I'm all yours, promise."

You ignore him, getting up from the couch as you head into the kitchen, getting a glass of water. Sunghoon was washing the dishes(clearly lost rock paper scissors), chuckling as he noticed how annoyed you were.

Sunghoon had only just finished the dishes when Riki walked into the kitchen. He had immediately dried his hands before leaving, not wanting to be between whatever was about to happen with the two of you.

"Baby... Are you really mad?" He asks as you roll your eyes, arms crossed over your chest. "What do you think? You've been ignoring me all day over a stupid fucking game."

He presses you against the counter at your words, leaning extremely close to you, his lips only a few inches shy of meeting yours. "We both know that you're more important than a video game.. You don't have to be upset, princess.." He teases, kissing you softly before smiling sweetly.

His hand trailed the bare expanse of your thigh, and you immediately grabbed his wrist. "We're standing in the kitchen.." You whisper yell as he chuckles. "Who cares."

Your cheeks flush red and you can feel yourself growing more aroused at his boldness. "Riki.. I'm serious."

"Why?.. Am I turning you on?.." He asks, his voice low and teasing as he leaned in to kiss you, squeezing your waist softly.

You instinctively wrapped your arms around his neck, kissing back eagerly as he chuckled into the kiss. "I guess that's a yes?.."

You stared up at him, smiling slightly as his remark. "Then do something about it..."

Third Person POV~

You wake up earlier than usual this morning, and Riki was already gone, probably up playing video games on his pc, trying not to yell at Heeseung.

You got out of bed, stretching the stiffness away before heading to the bathroom. After brushing your teeth and washing your face, you left the bedroom, heading to the guest room that Riki used as a personal gaming room.

"Riki?" You peeked in, seeing him click away on his pc. He probably didn't hear you because he had his headphones on.

You approach slowly, rubbing his shoulders as he startles slightly, but relaxes because he knows it's you.

"Good morning, baby.." He reaches up to rub your arm, focusing back on the game. "Good morning, Riki... Why'd you get up so early?.." You ask as he shrugged. "I couldn't sleep well. Just decided to come play the game with Heeseung.."

Nodding at his words, you lean down towards his neck, leaving soft kisses on his skin and then down his shoulder.

He shakes you off, chuckling. "Baby, that tickles.. You're gonna make me die." He says as you sigh, pulling away from him. "Fine.. I'm gonna make breakfast.. What do you want?" You ask as he shrugs. "Whatever you wanna make is fine, baby.. Thank you."

Not even bothering to reply, you leave the room, heading into the kitchen as you start on a simple breakfast.

After finishing cooking, you call Riki into the kitchen, setting both of your plates on the table before grabbing some apple juice from the fridge. You're slightly startled when you feel him grab your hips from behind, leaning in to press a kiss to your cheek. "Thank you, baby.."

He then sits down, and your hands shake slightly as you pour the both of you a glass of apple juice, not even bothering to put the juice back in the fridge before you sit down.

Riki is sitting across from you, eating quietly. You decide to tease him just to see his reaction, because usually he rejects most affectionate touches.

You slide your foot up his leg, rubbing against his inner thigh as he stared up at you. "What are you doing?"

"Nothing.." You respond, feigning ignorance as he sighs. "You're so clingy." He laughs, rubbing your socked foot, giving you an under-the-table massage.

You're slightly shocked at it, but you can't help the smile that creeps onto your face.

After breakfast, Riki offers to do the dishes, so you're simply watching him. Eventually you decide to backhug him, nuzzling into his back. He doesn't say anything, and it makes you happy because he canonically hates backhugs.

He even pats your arm at one point, and it makes your heart feel warm.

"Do you wanna keep watching that show together after I finish?" He asks as you nod. "Sure.."

He finishes the dishes, drying his hands before turning around to face you. You pout, asking for a kiss. He plants one on your forehead, completely ignoring your lips.

"Riki... That's not a kiss.." You whine as he chuckles. "It is a kiss, baby.. Come on.. Let's watch the show."

After dragging you into the living room, you both sit down on the couch, turning on the show. Riki is sitting on the opposite side of the couch from you, as usual.

"Riki.. Sit closer to me..." You pout, reaching over to tug on his arm as he sighs, patting the spot next to him.

You move to sit beside him, resting your head on his shoulder as he pats your head.

This is the most you can get him to do, he's not the cuddling type.

You decided to test the waters though, holding his hand, and sitting basically hip to hip with him.

He shifted slightly, trying his hardest not to move.

Eventually he pulled his hand from your grasp, sighing. "I'm sorry, my hand is sweating." He didn't seem to be uncomfortable, but you could tell he probably was. Something about being too physically close to you just made him nervous.

"Are you okay?" You question, and he nods. "Do you ever get upset with me?.. Because I don't like to cuddle..?"

Confused at the sudden question, you shake your head. "No, not really.. Maybe a little frustrated, but I try not to push it too much.." You mumble as he hums in reply. "Well.. What if I agreed to all the cuddles and kisses you want, but just for today."

You smile at his proposition, nodding. "That would be good.."

He pushes you to lay on the couch, leaning down to give you a soft kiss before laying on top of you.

The next hour is spent watching the TV, and your hands are running through Riki's hair. It wasn't until the episode ended that you realized he had fallen asleep.

You didn't know if he came up with the whole cuddles and kisses ordeal just to use you as a pillow, but either way you got what you wanted and you were very satisfied.

Third Person POV~

Riki hums softly against your neck, collapsing on top of you as you smile softly. "You're so clingy.." You kiss his temple, tightening your hold on him. He shifts, pulling back slightly to look at you. "Did you enjoy it?..." His tone is deep, but his cheeks are flushed pink and you can tell he's nervous.

You nod eagerly. "Of course, you were amazing.." He smiles at your reply, kissing you again as you moan against his lips, hands finding their way to tangle into his hair.

Even through the kiss you can tell he's doubting himself, and it's honestly adorable, but to you he's perfect.

"Riki..." You mumble as you pull away. His deep brown eyes find yours immediately, and you smile, kissing his forehead. "Stop worrying... You're perfect.."

He then smiles, kissing you again before resting his head on your chest. "How did I get so lucky in the girlfriend department?" He asks jokingly as you smile. "The same way I got lucky in the boyfriend department."

He chuckles, nuzzling into you. "Why'd it take us so long to go all the way?" He questions as you shrug. "I don't know.. Fear maybe? Or just nerves.. Either way I'm kinda glad we committed to it."

The more you speak the bigger his smile grows. He loves that even in inexperienced areas, he can still make you happy. That's really his only goal.

"Do you wanna take a bath together?.." He question as you nod. "Sure.." He kisses your cheek before getting up. He disappears into the bathroom and soon enough you hear the water running.

You grab a hair tie from the bedside table before messily tying your hair up. Then, you get out of bed, walking into the bathroom as you watch the bubble bath form.

Riki smiles upon seeing you, wrapping his arms around you as he stares lovingly at you. You smile back, ruffling his hair. You sway gently in each other's arms until the bathtub is full and then you remove whatever pieces of clothing are remaining before stepping into the tub.

You sit between Riki's legs, back to his chest as he wraps his arms around your waist, resting his head on your shoulder.

"I love you, baby..." He kisses your neck gently, running his tongue over the light marks he left earlier. You giggle at the feeling. "I love you more, Riki.."

"I love you most.."

Third Person POV~

Today you had plans with Riki and his friends, so you got up early, wanting to shower before he got up so you could make sure he had breakfast. He often skips so sometimes you have to semi-force him.

You took a quick shower, wearing some sweats and a loose tank top, and setting your outfit out to put on once you finished getting ready.

You made breakfast, a simple meal consisting of some fluffy pancakes, and some fruit. You also poured two glasses of orange juice, setting the table before heading back to the bed room to wake Riki.

"Riki.. Wake up.." You shake his arm, pushing his hair out of his face as he groaned. "Hm?..." His eyes flutter open as he gazes at you. You chuckle. "Get up... I made breakfast."

He sits up, stretching before getting out of bed and following you to the kitchen.

He mumbles a sleepy thank you before eating, albeit slowly.

"After you're done eating we can leave once we're both ready." You mumble as he nods. "Okay.." There's little conversation as you both finish eating, and Riki offers to do the dishes while you finish getting ready.

Once your hair and makeup is done, you put your planned outfit on which consisted of a pretty top Riki had bought for you and some jeans.

After finishing the dishes, Riki took a shower, spending minimal time getting ready, and once he finished, you both left.

The car ride to the arcade was short, and Riki had tried holding your hand and placing his hand on your thigh through out, but you rejected both actions by ignoring him.

He was confused because of how unlikely that was of you, but he tried to ignore it, not wanting to read too much into it.

When you finally got to the arcade, Riki opened your door for you, and you smiled, giving him a kiss to his cheek as a thank you.

The two of you walked in, immediately spotting Jungwon, Sunghoon, and Heeseung who were standing near the prize counter.

"Hey, guys." Jungwon greets as you and Riki walk over. He gives you a hug which you gladly return, making Riki pout. He gets even more upset when Sunghoon and Heeseung hug you too.

Now that he's thinking, you didn't give him a kiss or a hug when you woke him up, which is highly unlike you. And he can't tell if you're mad at him or not because you still made breakfast and you gave him a kiss on the cheek just a few minutes ago. It's all really confusing.

Once the rest of the guys get to the arcade, you all start playing games, and for the most part, you stick to Jay. And it's no surprise to Riki because you and Jay get along well and you call him your dad as a joke since he treats you like a kid and spoils you the same way he spoils everyone else.

But it's clear something is wrong when you guys leave the arcade, heading to a restaurant that you all wanted to eat at, and you don't sit next to Riki.

Not wanting to argue or make a scene, he decides to let it go, but it kills him everytime he glances around the table and he sees you giggling with Sunghoon and Sunoo. For some reason it irks him that he's not the one with your attention.

He finds himself wondering if you ever feel like this, and if it's one of the reasons you're so keen on affection, but he still can't wrap his mind around your reason for avoiding him today.

This bothers him until you get home, and you're both quiet as you change, getting comfy for the night. You're taking off your makeup and doing your skincare, but Riki is already on the bed, a pout set on his lips.

He waits until you finally climb onto the bed to glance at you. "Are you mad at me?..." He asks as you look over at him, confusion settling on to your face.

"No, why?.." You question as he sighs. "You've been ignoring me all day.. And you haven't hugged or kissed me at all, even when you woke me up this morning."

You chuckle at his words. "I didn't think you would care.. Usually you call me clingy when I'm all over you throughout the day." You mumble as he sighs. "That doesn't mean I don't like it... I was suffering all day because I thought you were upset with me. I went all day without a single hug or kiss from you."

You laugh at how pouty and adorable he is, moving to hug him, before pulling back to pepper kisses all over his face and then his lips.

He smiles, deepening the kiss, his large palm cupping your jaw. He eventually pulls away with a smile. "Please don't ignore me again.. I want you to cling to me.."

“what the hell are you doing?!” riki screamed as you dipped your french fry into your ice cream. 

“eating this?” you answered, confused as to why your boyfriend seemed so bothered. 

“no. absolutely not.” he said, shaking his head and making a fake puking sound. 

you and riki were bored and energetic teenagers who had nothing to do, so what else would you do rather than show up at your local 24/7 fast food joint? 

that’s exactly what you did. 

you were broke 16 yr olds so naturally, you stole coupons from riki’s dads car glove compartment. with the limited options of free food, you guys decided on fries and ice cream. 

“thats so gross who would dip fries in ice cream?” he looked at you disappointed. 

“it’s salty and sweet dumbass. it’s like chicken and waffles or salted caramel.” you rolled your eyes, happily munching on your ice cream covered fry. 

your boyfriend flicked your forehead and laughed. “y’know i might have to break up with you since u like such a horrid food combo.” 

“too bad you love me too much.” you stated. 

“unfortunately.” he mumbled and you hit his arm playfully. 

“hey! says the weirdo who microwaves his strawberries.” you said dipping another fry in your cup. 

“hey! they’re good warm!” he fought back. 

“no. absolutely not.” you said, shoving the dipped fry in his face. he cringed and leaned away from you. 

“just try it! i promise it’s good.” you said giving him a sweet smile. 

he looked at you and then the fry and couldn’t resist your adorable smile. after all, he loved you so much. 

but not enough to try that atrocious food combo. 

“no!” he covered his eyes. “stop being cute i’m trying to save my taste buds!”

you laughed and popped the fry in your mouth. 

“fine your loss.”
