like!! other than some takes calling jouno manipulative towards tachihara, jouno was also?? criticized for this somewhat?? like what you said, he didn’t intervene even when he knew something was up between the commander and tachihara, which could’ve been bad and dangerous on tachihara’s end (and did end up really bad), some takes talking about how he didn’t intervene because he wants a “gotcha moment” in betraying fukuchi (if memory serves me right)

but also like, jouno couldn’t have known much just by tachihara making a trivial lie to fukuchi’s face considering this

and the fact that jouno was originally willing to become a decay until he remembered that one old lady who thanked him, which cancels out jouno feigning alliance to have a “gotcha moment” on fukuchi 

i’ve been wondering about something…. i don’t know if it’s just me but i’ve heard some takes from the fandom that jouno was manipulative towards tachihara? i haven’t reviewed their interactions so i’m curious on what they could be referring to
