sorry but quickly megumi knows girls find his dad attractive, including girls his age. so when he brings you to his childhood home just to pick something up and then leave, he is trying to make you not meet his dad.
but of course his dad strolls out in just a pair of basketball shorts, holding a steaming hot mug of tea wearing these ugly neon green flip flops.
megumi’s looking for something in his room and you’re awkwardly standing at the open door trying your hardest not to stare at his fathers very bare, toned scarred chest.
his father settles you with a frown, one that makes you shrink a little. he then takes a sip of the drink you know is burning hot. he doesn’t wince. standing still as he scratches through his dark hair. the same colour as your boyfriends.
“you’re my boy’s new girl?”
you give a quick skittish nod, eyes almost watering on how hard you’re trying not to check the man out. he’s half naked in-front of you! everyone would look but you have some respect.
then your boyfriend comes out, a couple inches shorter than his father. “don’t say new like i come around with a new girl every week.” he snaps, grabbing keys from a pot as his father turns back to look at him.
“i’ve never seen this one before though.”
“you’ve never seen any of them before!”
you almost want to grin at how easily agitated megumi gets. taking this moment to quickly glance at his fathers bare chest while theyre both distracted but as soon as you look up, said man is already staring at you. his slight smirk and raised eyebrow tells you all you need to know. your face burns.
“c’mon babe. bye dad.”
with that, megumi grabs your hand, slamming the door behind him. you don’t know where to start but you feel you should say something.
“‘gumi your dads kinda—,”
“yn don’t.”
you take in his clenched jaw and firm grip on your hand, “what? he kinda looks like you, that’s all.”
megumi blinks, “oh. i thought you were gonna say he’s attractive or something.”
you don’t lie to your boyfriend. you never have. so you just keep walking, rolling your lips in.
