Marking their first performance as a four-piece, VENUS performed on Team Green's stage at WaterBomb 2024 this Sunday, following the performances of Chloe and Baebi the previous two days. The turnout, as usual, was massive, being one of the largest crowds at the festival.

Oh, the people were waiting for this. They've been waiting for Venus to return to Seoul Waterbomb for years now and to be there for their first-ever OT4 performance. The people were hungry. They were ready. And so were the girls!!

Easily, one of the best festival performances Venus has done. Their energy was insane, like, points were being proven.

Bliss's lines were split up amongst the girls but most of her raps went to either Sena or Yoonah. This would start a debate on Twitter over who did the lines better. Way too many shorts, reels, and Tiktoks comparing how Sena and Baebi did the lines to Bliss how would do them would start popping up too, getting millions of views. It was a whole thing but the girls ignored it.

KLARA MET TRANSCRIBED: "Long time no see, Waterbomb! Woo! Look at all you out there...Oh my god, so many people are here. This is crazy...Did you guys like that opener? Someone sprayed the hell out of me during the chorus, haha! That's okay. I'll get you back after this next song. Are you ready?!"

A vlog would be released the same day of their performance, showing how the girls practiced and prepared for the festival. It revealed that the girls got to pick their outfits for once because you already know they were going viral left and right for how stunning and beautiful they looked soaking wet!

The girls also did their own makeup for the festival, primarily Chloe, who was doing the other girls' makeup since she loves to do hair and makeup and is never pleased with how anyone but her does it. She's a perfectionist and wants everyone to have the same look, unlike last year in Tokyo.

CHLOE MET TRANSCRIBED: "Woww! I could barely hear us singing over how loud you guys are. I love it. This is incredible...Are we having fun? Amazing! God, listen to you guys, holy shit. Literally shaking the stage, you guys are so loud. I love it so much...I need you guys to listen real quick though. Shhh!" The entire crowd falls silent when Chloe puts her finger over her lips, resulting in a viral moment and reaction video. "I'm going to say: You want me? and you're going to say: Do you want me? Got it? Okay...You want me?" Chloe puts her microphone out to the crowd as they shout "Do you want me?" causing Chloe to smile brightly. "Mwah!" And with that, the intro do "Blow a Kiss" begins to play.

There were lots of cute interactions on stage between the girls! Mainly, Sena and Klara, the forever Venus babies, were throwing water balloons at each other or spraying each other with water guns. They were constantly laughing and smiling on stage. It was really sweet and fun for Constellations to see Sena so happy again since it's been a while since she last seemed genuinely happy.

All of the girls slipped at least once during their stage, but it was all a laughing matter and a silly thing. Every time they hit the ground, they were laughing, and so were the other members it was a really cute and funny thing.

BAEBI MET TRANSCRIBED: "Oh my god, Waterbomb...Long time no see!! You guys saw me on Friday, remember? I remember. I see some of you guys in the crowd from my set. That was really fun, wasn't it? I was wearing a lot less clothes for that one." The crowd cheers as Yoonah and Venus laugh. Yoonah flips her wet hair over her shoulder. "We got two really fun songs next. I really like performing this next one...Watch where you're shooting your guns by the way," Yoonah warns as she points to the crowd with a playful scowl that turns into a sly smile. "I almost busted my ass during that last song. I'm watching you."

Yoonah would then go on to slip and fall on her ass during The Boys performance.

The girls were spotted in the crowd during Wayv's performance. Klara's reaction to shirtless Xiaojun would go viral, and she would be embarrassed about it, but that didn't stop them from filming a dumb lil TikTok together!

Yoonah and Chloe were seen at Taemin's set, which got Constellations really excited since the people love when Baebi and Taemin stand next to each other. They took a picture together after his set. SM Baebi Enthusiasts cheered!

Yoonah and Sena were also seen during Nayeon's set and Bibi's but pictures have yet to be posted...Constellations know they're holding them hostage!

SENA ENDING MET TRANSCRIPTION: "Waterbombbb!! I'm so happy to be here, ah! This was too much fun! You all have been so amazing. For our last song, I think it's only right that we sing the song of the summer...Are yall ready? I said are yall ready?!" When the crowd meets the volume Sena wants, she smiles proudly, nodding. "That's what I wanted. Thank you, Waterbomb!"

And as per tradition, Summer Luv! caused an earthquake, truly the song of the summer. These girls killed it and left nothing behind! And looked good while doing it!

The moment Chlostars have been waiting years for! Chloe finally made her solo Waterbomb debut this Saturday and also debuted her new blond hair! Fans not only went crazy online but also in the crowd, with people saying Chloe drew in one of the loudest and most excited crowd. She really made a splash, didn't she?

Yall...It's been centuries since a Chloe solo schedule. She had to make it count...AND SHE DID! Chloe trended on Twitter for the entire day, and then the next day, "SHE'S REALLY BLOND" trended...Her power, guys.

Of course, there was beef before the performance with Baebi stans already saying Baebi washed Chloe before she even got on the stage, that Chloe doesn't have the stage presence or discography for a festival like Waterbomb, that she was going to be boring, yap, yap, yap––Chloe is a lot of things but boring? Bad discography? No stage presence? We have to be serious. Baebi Twitter was really quiet after Chloe got on stage. That's all I'll say!

CHLOE OPENING MENT TRANSCRIPTION: "Hiiii Waterbomb! I'm your star, Chloe! I'm so happy to be here! Are you happy to see me?" The crowd cheers, sounding more prominently female than usual. Chloe laughs, waving to the crowd sweetly with a bright smile on her face. "I'm so excited to be here and perform for you guys! Are you ready to get wet?" Chloe sticks her tongue out playfully with a laugh before she turns away from the crowd and gets in position for Rollercoaster.

Chloe literally had the time of her life. You could really tell she enjoyed performing by herself and was having a blast interacting with the audience. She was shooting the hell out of those waterguns which looked hilarious since she's so short. Constellations said this is the happiest she's looked in months. There wasn't a second on stage where she wasn't smiling.

Even off-stage, she was having a blast! She was seen in the audience with the other Venus girls during Minho's performance, Yugyeom's performance, and Kiss of Life's performance! Festivals and high-energy performances like this are truly where Chloe shines and shows who she really is as a performer.

Chloe styled herself and did her own makeup. In a vlog taken before her performance, she explained how Mydol offered her a stylist and makeup artist, but she adamantly refused and picked out her own bathing suit and makeup. She did have someone do her hair, of course, but she said she wasn't skilled enough to get it the shade of blond she wanted.

Her bathing suit was a hot topic online. The debate boiled down to some people wishing she showed more skin and other people liking that she remained "conservative" with her bathing suit choice. It was actually a really annoying discourse, but what's new on Constellation Twitter.

Listen, Chloe was already successful before this performance, duh, but this really boosted her as a soloist. Her streams went up in the thousands! Underwater, Rollercoaster and Siren were charting again after years of not being on the charts. She was already on the map, but this made her the map! People are foaming at the mouth for more Soloist!Chloe!

Pop! also reentered the charts but it reentered in the TOP TEN...She's so famous guys. The Pop! performance was really the highlight of the show. The energy, the song, the vocals, it was everything, truly, people in the audience were saying they felt like they were at a Chloe concert and were confused when it was time for another person to come on. Crazy. She's so famous, yall.

After the success of her performance, Chloe would start teasing a potential solo comeback, making it the first solo comeback in years. Waterbomb 2024 truly was Chloe's, guys!

Making Her Great Return To The Waterbomb Stage, Baebi Gave A Show Stopping Performance And Drew In One

Making her great return to the Waterbomb stage, Baebi gave a show stopping performance and drew in one of the largest crowds on Friday! Despite having one of the most viral performances, fans were confused why she didn't perform a single track off her latest solo release: PULL THE TRIGGER (AGAIN). Despite the debatable tracklist, Constellations were elated to see their "Waterbomb Princess" back on the stage!

Oh, she was the talk of the town. You could not go online without seeing Baebi at Waterbomb 2024!

The setlist was a hot topic, truly. A lot of fans liked that it was a throwback, but also...They were just confused as to why she wasn't singing new stuff. At first, they thought maybe she didn't have the rights to the album since it was released under Flowerbank, but that just wasn't the case, as Mydol owns all of Venus' discography. So, like...What gives? Where's Baebi's Revenge? Where's You and Me? Where's—

Then the behind the scenes vlog came out and it all made sense. When I tell y'all, Son Jinhwa curated this entire performance from start to finish...I mean it. Down to the last second, it was his vision. He was barely even seen in Chloe's behind-the-scenes vlog, but you could see that man in almost every frame of Yoonah's. To the shock of no one, he picked out her outfit as well and even had the makeup artist redo her makeup before the show because he didn't like what she originally did.

So, yeah, no wonder there were no songs from the album where Yoonah had complete creative control and basically told him to kill himself. Yeah, Constellations did not like that realization. It got even worse when it was revealed Chloe got full creative control over her performance while Yoonah didn't.

But, despite all that, Yoonah had fun! And that's all that matters! She smiled the whole time, did amazing crowd work, danced like it was the last thing she was going to do, and kept her goodies from falling out the whole performance! She did great, guys!

BAEBI OPENING MENT TRANSCRIPTION: "What's up, Waterbomb? I'm your Baebi! Ah! I can't believe I'm back here! Oh my gosh! I missed you guys! Did you miss me?" Yoonah playfully leans toward the crowd and then laughs. "Sounds like it...I'm so happy to be here with all of you and to be wet with you guys! I hope you all enjoy this next song. It's been years since I've performed it, but I really like it, so...Get ready to–Okay, this joke won't really land because the sun is out, but–Get ready to dance the night away!"

After her performance, Baebi and the other Venus girls were spotted in the crowd for Fromis_9's set as well as Hyo's set! The girls are massive Girls Generation's stans and never miss a chance to see the members perform.

You could really tell Yoonah had a blast performing. She really loves her job, guys!

#BAEBIWATERBOMB would trend, and a fan cam of her set would reach 3.4 Million views in 24 hours. A massive hit with everyone! But that's nothing new for Miss Baebi!

Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes

Chloe is the only member with a SoundCloud account, and even then, she's not very active on it nor makes it publicly known she has it. It's a public secret among constellations; either you know about Chloe's SoundCloud, or you don't.

2020 ; YOU WERE BORN BACKWARDS

Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes
Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes

This song had actually been online for a couple of months before constellations found it. Even then, they questioned if this was actually Chloe as it sounded nothing like her typical style of music, using much heavier and darker themes than anyone expected from the bubbly idol. Despite this diverging greatly from her idol image, many of Chloe's fans greatly appreciated "you were born backwards" because to them it felt like a look into the "real chloe" not the image presented to them.

2020 ; HE WILL NEVER CHANGE

Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes
Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes

HE WILL NEVER CHANGE garnered attention for the album cover as well as this being the first song Chloe publicly claimed and promoted. She posted a link to the song on her Instagram story, saying, "I made this all by myself :)" but fans would be more interested in the unreleased photo of then Cicada member Hyojin, silently confirming the rumors that the two were dating at the time. Though fans did find it peculiar, she confirmed their relationship through a song about a toxic and co-dependent relationship.

2021 ; GIRLHOOD, WOMANHOOD

Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes
Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes

GIRLHOOD, WOMANHOOD is about the very human state of dissatisfaction and the fact that Chloe is always chasing something, which has been all her life. This song is about the feeling of not being able to fully control your life. Shockingly, this was the song that got fans worried about Chloe's wellbeing, as if all the other songs before this weren't a clear sign of something going on, but the concerns were mainly directed at the company mistreating Chloe instead of her mental health.

2021 ; GOOD MEN DIE QUICK

Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes

GOOD MEN DIE QUICK is Chloe's thoughts about toxic masculinity and masculine norms in society. The lyrics can be interpreted as representing how men view women as objects, as well as depicting beauty standards and the pressure on women to always appear pleasant. This song would get Chloe the "feminist" label and have her receiving backlash for months, though she never publicly responded to it or claimed to be a feminist.

2022 ; IN THE BACK OF HIS CAR

Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes
Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes

What is called her most disturbing song, IN THE BACK OF HIS CAR, is described by fans as a horror movie experience from its haunting sound production to its horrifying lyrics. You're either in awe of it or concerned for Chloe's well-being. This would be another song she promoted on her Instagram story, many constellations deeming this a cry for help from her, with the caption, "i'm very proud of this one :) i composed, produced, and wrote it all by myself" this is also the song that gained Chloe her "coquette" status on Tumblr and Tiktok.

2022 ; WORD VOMIT

Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes
Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes

WORD VOMIT is another one of Chloe's songs that just makes you worry for her. There's something about how abuse, especially childhood abuse, often makes its survivors believe that with love comes pain. That love laced with pain is what they deserve, so they subconsciously seek it out. It's what feels familiar despite how destructive it actually is. Though the song is beloved by many, some interpret it as Chloe glamorizing abuse, which her fans will dox you for saying.

2023 ; CYCLECYCLECYCLE

Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes
Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes

After a year of nothing, CYCLECYCLECYCLE would hit Chloe's SoundCloud, taking a much softer and more raw production than her previous releases. The song has been interpreted as releasing old fears and accepting that they will always be a part of you instead of closing the door. It's a song about healing that leaves you feeling hollow due to its melancholic and bare instrumental. This song would have brief virality on Tiktok for its heart-jerking lyrics, making some of the saddest edits you've ever seen.

2024 ; OBSESSED

Chloe Is The Only Member With A SoundCloud Account, And Even Then, She's Not Very Active On It Nor Makes

After another year of forgetting the password, Chloe would log back into her SoundCloud to release her most well-known track there, OBSESSED. Being a relatable Pop-Rock banger about being too invested in your man's past relationships, many people demanded an official release, which Chloe has yet to give. Fans were happy to see Chloe release something on her SoundCloud that has them dancing instead of worrying about her well-being.

Lee Chohee (Korean:, BornJune 17th, 1999), Known Professionally AsChloe (Korean:), Is A Korean-American

Lee Chohee (Korean: 이초희, born June 17th, 1999), known professionally as Chloe (Korean: 클로이), is a Korean-American singer and actress based in South Korea. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Venus, formed by Angelico Entertainment in 2018. She is portrayed by Park Jiwon & Bae Suzy.

Lee Chohee (Korean:, BornJune 17th, 1999), Known Professionally AsChloe (Korean:), Is A Korean-American

Chloe was born in New York to a lawyer father and mother, who split up when she was three years old. She was adopted by her stepfather, Kevin Lee when she was five. She has one older brother, Jacob Lee, and two younger siblings, Grayson and Josie Lee. All four of them have careers in the Korean Entertainment industry.

When she was 15, Pledis street-scout her. Her mom thought it was a scam and almost didn’t let her audition, but she could audition and made it in without hesitation. Chloe would not train under Pledis long, leaving the company only three months later to continue her training at Angelico.

On August 9, Chloe was included in a sub-unit of I.O.I comprising six other members. The sub-unit released the single "Whatta Man," which debuted at number two on the Gaon Digital Chart. Chloe and her band-mates received their first-ever music show win with the single on SBS MTV's The Show.

The Year Is2013,and Angelico Just Debuted Their First-ever Group, Priority, To Great Success.

The year is 2013, and Angelico just debuted their first-ever group, Priority, to great success.

Emphasis was slated to debut in 2014 as their first-ever girl group. Originally, the groups were meant to be a collaborative project, with Emphasis and Priority meant to come together once a year and make an album together. This would never end up happening because shortly after Emphasis' debut in 2014, the group fell inactive before disbanding in 2016 after a year of inactivity and two releases to their name.

Emphasis has effectively been wiped from Angelico's history, erasing all their content with the exception of their official music videos. The erasure of Emphasis has always left a sour taste in people's mouths. What happened? Why did they disband so early and so quietly? Where are the girls now?

By clicking THE SOURCE LINK, you will be taken to the official audition form for EMPHASIS.

Please read over all the information carefully, mind the trigger warnings, and feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Emphasis would have their first and final comeback with their second mini album, EMPATHSIS, promoting the title tracks"Love Bomb" and "Wee Woo!" before falling into a year of inactivity.

On May 24, 2016, Emphasis was officially disbanded. Angelico Entertainment announced that Yoonah would be staying with the label.

Following Emphasis's disbandment, Yoonah would return to training and join Angelico's pre-debut team, "Angellies." The group would rotate trainees and perform around South Korea. The team would operate on a ranking system voted on by the fans they would garner from their performances and live streams.

Yoonah was a prominent member of the Angellies, often being voted as the fan favorite in their monthly rankings. By the end of the group's run, Yoonah was the second-most-voted fan favorite.

In 2016, Yuuna would officially take on the stage name Baebi.

In 2017, Angellies would be discontinued to prepare for Angelico's new girl group debut.

Bubble Pop! 's commercial success was the main contributor to Angelico Entertainment's leading music sales. The song peaked at number one in South Korea, where it has sold over 2.5 million digital units. To accompany her solo release, Baebi held a series of small concerts called Baebi's Summer Splash. She was awarded Best Female Artist at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards and at the 2020 Golden Disk Awards.

Doyun became a fan favorite, and Jung was called Squid Game's breakout star by critics. For her performance on the show, Jung won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Jung Yoonah (Korean:, BornNovember 16, 1998), Known Professionally AsBaebi (Korean:;Japanese:), Is A

Baebi has had a controversial relationship with Mydol CEO Son Jinhwa. An anonymous source revealed the pair's relationship to the public in 2022, resulting in a wave of backlash that led to Jinhwa stepping down from his position as CEO of Angelico Entertainment and Baebi going on a brief hiatus. The pair never confirmed their relationship.

In 2023, Baebi would confirm her relationship with Kim Juwon, the lead vocalist of the boy group Priority. The pair had been dating for three years before the announcement, silently putting the rumors of her and Son Jinhwa's relationship to rest. Baebi and Juwon would break up in 2024 after spending five years together.

Baebi has been a vocal mental health advocate, being very open about her struggles with depression and anxiety. She often donates to mental health charities and volunteers at children's hospitals in her spare time.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD VENUS !

It's 2018. Angelico hasn't had an active girl group in four years. The boy group checks are getting smaller every month; their newest boy group just flopped. The bank is calling about overdue payments, and they're desperate for a hit. With what was left in their ever-shrinking business bank account, they debuted their saving grace: VENUS.

The five-member piece comprised popular trainees from their Angellies program and former I.O.I member Chloe Lee. Baebi, Bliss, and Jiah consistently ranked in the top four during the Angellies' weekly rankings alongside Chloe. The only outsider was Sena Kim, who ranked reasonably well but consistently ranked in the top ten instead of the top five like the other girls.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD VENUS !

VENUS IN 2018 AT THEIR DEBUT SHOWCASE: Bliss (20), Baebi (19), Chloe (18), Sena (16), and Jiah (15).

SHE DEVIL, originally a digital single that later became a physical single, was a commercial success in South Korea. The song entered the Gaon Digital Chart at number five the week of its release.

It was certified platinum by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) for 100 million streams just two months after its release. "She Devil" ranked 11th on the year-end Gaon Digital Chart, making it the best-performing girl group song and second-best-performing group song of 2018 in South Korea.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD VENUS !

"She Devil" amassed the top spot on various music programs; it achieved 9 wins, including a "triple crown" (or three wins) on Inkigayo.

Next would come KISSENUS, the group's first mini-album, and come back, "Kisseus," pronounced "KISS-EE-US," which was a move to establish the Venus branding. There were so many "-eus" gimmicks during this time. Some landed, some didn't, but Kissenus landed!

Know what didn't land? Their outfits. Oh my god, it was clear Angelico was broke! Truly, one of the last groups to debut looking like losers, they had these girls looking a mess on music shows! Fans still bring up the wardrobe choices when discussing Kissenus.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD VENUS !

Kissenus would receive 7 music show awards across various music programs, including another "triple crown" on Inkigayo.

Their final comeback of the year would be another mini album titled "Tasteus" and a title track of the same name. While the song was a banger and performed well on the charts and at music shows, securing 6 wins and retaining their "triple crowned" winner status at Inkigayo, fans began to worry if the girls were being overworked due to their constant promotion of a new release.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD VENUS !

Their run at the 2018 MAMA Awards caused mass discourse amongst K-pop fans. The barely-year-old group won Best Female Group, Best New Artist—Female, and Best Dance Performance—Female Group for She-Devil.

Venus saw undeniable and unheard-of success for Angelico in 2018, skyrocketing their company's stocks, becoming the faces of "Monster Rookies," and being the blueprint for what a good debut year should look like.

After A Stellar First Year As A Group, Venus Hit 2019 Swinging. They Began Their "Video Game Era," Officially

After a stellar first year as a group, Venus hit 2019 swinging. They began their "Video Game Era," officially titled "VSCAPE," promoting their upcoming series of video games that would come with every comeback. VSCAPE would be a three-part series in which the girls would be put in three different genres of video games: fighting, action, and simulation.

People weren't exactly sure how seriously Angelico would take this project until their third mini album, "VSCAPE: BATTLE ROYALE," was released along with the accompanying video game under the same title. Of course, you had to buy the album and video game separately, but both came with photocards, so fans were more than happy to spend their money. Fans were even more shocked when the game was good, with stunning graphics that felt utterly out of Angelico's budget.

VENUS IN 2019 AT THEIR COMEBACK SHOWCASES: Bliss (21 via Battle Royale), Baebi (20 via PUNCHOUT), Chloe (19 via LOVE&LOSERS), Sena (17 via PUNCHOUT), and Jiah (16 via Battle Royale).

The game would be similar to Mortal Kombat but less violent. You could pick which Venus member you'd like to fight as and be paired with randomized villains or other Venus members, resulting in many hilarious reaction videos created by their fans, Constellations.

BATTLE ROUND, the title track, would win eight music show trophies and sell over 1 million copies, becoming the first Venus album to achieve this and the first group in Angelico history to have over a million sales.

They would release the second part of the VSCAPE project, another mini album and video game titled "VSCAPE: PUNCHOUT." Many fans expected the same type of gameplay from the first VSCAPE project but were shocked to be met with entirely different graphics and gameplay. This game follows the player through an apocalyptic world, trying to find the cure for the disease that's destroyed the country of South Korea. The graphics and gameplay are very similar to TellTale's The Walking Dead game, which is not shocking as they were the studio behind it. The game was praised for its interactive story elements, the girl's voice acting, and an overall storyline that had many constellations crying by the end of it.

VISION BOARDS FOR BATTLE ROYALE, PUNCHOUT, and LOVE&LOSERS.

PLAYER ONE would be the title track for PUNCHOUT, securing the girls' 12 music show wins as well as being certified platinum by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) for 100 million streams just three months after its release. This would mark the second Venus song to achieve this.

The final and most iconic part of the VSCAPE series is "VSCAPE: LOVE & LOSERS," with the title track "LOVE SIMULATOR." The game is just that: a dating simulator featuring all the girls. Though the game concept was quite controversial, as many fans saw it as pandering to a specific audience, the art used for the game was heavily praised for its cute and unique style.

FAN FAVORITE OUTFITS FROM THE VSCAPE ERA!

Though the game was hit or miss by fans, the song took over South Korea. "Love Simulator" received positive reviews from music critics and appeared on many year-end rankings of the best songs in 2019. Rolling Stone placed "Love Simulator" at number 24 on their list of the top 100 songs in 2019. On the National Circle Digital Chart, the single peaked at number two. The Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) certified it double platinum for surpassing 200 million streams in South Korea. The song was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for accumulating over 100 million streams in Japan.

Love Simulator would have 17 music show wins to its name, something virtually unheard of from Angelico. It is the 4th most-awarded song in music show history.

Venus would win their first Daesang this year, taking home Song Of The Year at MAMA for Love Simulator and Best Dance Performance—Female Group. They would also go on to win the Grand Prize at the Seoul Music Awards, marking another Daesang win for the girls.

If You Were Concerned That The Girls Were Being Overworked Before, Welcome To The Year, Angelico Proved

If you were concerned that the girls were being overworked before, welcome to the year, Angelico proved you right ten times over! Refusing to lose their hype and cash flow, Venus would release their first full album, "BRAINROT," alongside the title track WORMZ4BRAINZ. "WORMZ4BRAINZ" received positive reviews from critics, who praised its production and the group's vocal delivery. It attained commercial success, peaking at number two on the Gaon Digital Chart and number three on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart.

Showing their full versatility this year, the girls would come back with their sixth mini album, "#dontlike" taking on a more "teen crush" type concept. The EP debuted at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and number six on the Billboard World Albums chart. The songs from the album also performed well digitally. "#dontlike" charted at number one on the Gaon Digital Chart and number three on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.

Controversially, just two months after Jiah turned 19, Venus would release "Come N' Get It," a sexy summer mini album. While a group of Constellations were very vocal about how inappropriate it was for this concept to be done on a freshly legal adult, the general public didn't seem to care. "Come N' Get It" debuted at number 27 on South Korea's Circle Digital Chart. It rose to number one the following week. The song debuted at number one on Singapore's Top Streaming Chart, the Malaysia International chart, and the Billboard Hits of the World charts for Hong Kong and Taiwan, earning Venus their first number-one in Hong Kong.

When asked about how she felt looking back on Come N Get It in the "The Road To Venus" documentary in 2023, Jiah would discuss how she feels currently about the concept vs. how she felt at nineteen.

The music video, full of provocative dancing and the girls in swimsuits, was filmed two days after Jiah's birthday, resulting in another wave of concern from fans. Jiah would only concern fans further by saying she's been waiting to do a concept like this and was very excited to show this side of her.

As a means of damage control gone wrong, VENUS would close out the year with their second digital single, "BAD GIRL," which spearheaded the Venus Hate Train of 2020. A hate train when you're in a successful girl group is to be expected, and the girls handled it to the best of their ability. However, online critics did nothing to the girls charting power and influence.

"Bad Girls" was named the best K-pop song of 2020 by Business Insider, second by Zenerate, and amongst the best songs of 2023 by Elle. Apple's campaign and "Bad Girls"'s music video received awards at the One Show and the Spikes Asia Awards. The song received four music show awards, twice on both M Countdown and Inkigayo.

Kpop Stan Twitter Hates Them. Sena Is Talentless Tweets Hitting Crazy Numbers. Jiah Deactivated Her Instagram

Kpop stan Twitter hates them. Sena is talentless tweets hitting crazy numbers. Jiah deactivated her Instagram account. #BaebiGoSolo has trended for three days now...They had ONE chance.

VENUS entered 2021 mad as hell with their second full album, "I AM VENUS," which included the title track "I AM. "I AM was a commercial success in South Korea and topped the Circle Digital Chart for six weeks. It also reached the top ten in Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam. The song has been certified platinum for streaming in South Korea. It also received four PAKs and nine music show wins.

Dazed ranked it 19th among the 50 best K-pop tracks of 2021, and Grammy named it one of the 15 K-pop songs that defined 2021.

The group would repeatedly go viral for their performances of I AM as the girls were either emotional while performing the song or they were in platformed heels. For the first time in their career, Chloe was able to look people in the eyes during the music show interviews. Though the heels were a hit, they raised concerns for fans as there were multiple instances of the girls twisting their ankles or falling during performances because of them. Either way, iconic.

The platformed heels Venus wore during the promotions of I AM. These are the ones on displayed at the Angelico Artist Muesum. The group wore a total of 36 different pairs of heels for this era.

Their repacked album "VENUS, I AM." would come shortly after I AM VENUS with the title track "DIVE". Before the song's release, the teaser images for VENUS, I AM would go viral for their unique concept and artistic expression.

The album debuted at number one on the weekly Gaon Album Chart and also topped the monthly chart, selling 544,339 copies in its first month of release. It has since been certified triple platinum by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) for surpassing 750,000 units.

Tássia Assis from NME gave Dive a 4 out of 5-star rating, describing the track "Dive" as "the definite, luxurious plunge. " Despite being "more subdued" than the group's previous album, "I AM," it is a "chaebol crush" that matches the extravagance and confidence that defines VENUS. Uproxx named it one of The Best K-Pop Albums of 2021.

The hate train finally seemed to slow with the ever-mounting success the girls were receiving. It's not like the girls had enough time on their hands to even really focus on the hate. They were always working on something. That next something would be their 6th mini album, "Illusions," followed by a title track of the same name.

Upon its release, Illusions was praised by music critics for increasingly showcasing all members' vocal abilities with "trendy" production. Illusions was a commercial success in South Korea and charted in Japan and the United States. It debuted atop South Korea's Gaon Album Chart on the chart. Overall, it ranked seventh on the Gaon's 2021 year-end album chart.4 Walls debuted at number thirty-nine on Japan's Oricon Albums Chart, and it peaked at number one on the US Billboard World Albums Chart, becoming Venus' second number one on the chart following 2019's Love Simulator.

Illusions was primarily beloved for its "multidimensional" concept and music video. In the video, the girls were trapped in a time loop, and the song restarted midway through the eight-minute video, signifying that the viewer was also in the time loop with them.

The girls would close out the year with the summer classic "Summer Luv!" and a title track of the same name. When I tell you this song was massive, it was huge. Love Simulator was finally overthrown as Venus' most-known song because you could not go anywhere with Summer Luv'ing.

GQ Korea named "Summer Luv!" its Song of the Year in the magazine's November 2021 issue. In December, IZM listed the song as one of its top 10 singles of the year. Dazed ranked the song at number two on its 20 Best K-pop Songs of 2021. The song landed on Billboard's 20 Best K-Pop Songs 2021 list at number four. Melon ranked it number 15, while Rolling Stone ranked it number 13 in their lists of the greatest K-pop songs of all time, with the latter publication praising its production and hailing it as the epitome of "summertime fun, adventure, and romance."

Summer Luv! would win the girl's Song of The Year at the 2021 MAMA Awards and the Best Dance Performance – Female Group award. They would go on to win the Digital Daesang at the Golden Disk Awards and Song of the Year at the Korean Music Awards.

Some of the various wigs and hairstyles were worn by Venus during their Summer Luv! Promotions. Gif style inspired by @pickmedolls !

The Summer Luv! era was not only defined by success but looks as well. The girls would wear different wings at nearly every stage, mixing up their styles and colors while "giving their scalps a much-needed break," as said Chloe during an interview. The girls would go through seventy-five wigs between the five of them, with a fraction of them, the most iconic ones, being displayed at the Angelico Artist Museum.

2022, The Year Venus Finally Secured The Converse And A Pepsi Sponsorship. Arguably, This Is The Least

2022, the year Venus finally secured the Converse and a Pepsi sponsorship. Arguably, this is the least liked year of Venus for a majority of Constellations for numerous reasons. Trying to replicate the success of Summer Luv!, the girls would release their 8th mini album, VENUS HIGH! with the title track Hi-Tops, along with a collaboration with the brand Converse.

Commercially, the song peaked at number ten on the Gaon Digital Chart and topped the Billboard K-pop Hot 100, their first number-one song on the chart. Following the release of Venus High!, Venus promoted the song with live performances on several South Korean music television programs and amassed six music show trophies. They also held a concert by Converse, which sold out in seven minutes.

VENUS' collection with Converse. Each girl got to desgin their own shoe. The collection sold out in 15 minutes.

Venus would come back with their fourth full album, their last project with beloved creative director LEXA. Love, Venus would feature the title track, "So Sweet," along with eleven other tracks.

"So Sweet" won eight first-place music program awards in South Korea, including a triple crown (three awards) on Inkigayo. It also won a Melon Weekly Popularity Award.

"So Sweet" debuted at number one on South Korea's Circle Digital Chart. It remained atop the chart for thirteen weeks, becoming the longest-running number-one song in its history. The song debuted number one on the Billboard Vietnam Hot 100 chart issue. It topped the chart for three consecutive weeks. In Japan, the song peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and number 13 on the Oricon Combined Singles Chart.

The music video would feature heavy Pepsi product placement but is still beloved by fans as it's the last video directed by LEXA. Lexa would make a lengthy Instagram post announcing their departure from Angelico and Venus' creative director, leaving fans and the girls concerned in what direction they would go in next.

2022, The Year Venus Finally Secured The Converse And A Pepsi Sponsorship. Arguably, This Is The Least

LEXA'S DEPARTURE LETTER: it only feels right to share my favorite moments with my favorite girls, though there are plenty more. if i could post 100 images on this post i would lol. as of today, i have officially stepped down as the creative director of venus. these five girls are so special, talented, and overall wonderful visionaries i wish had more freedom over their careers. i do not wish to get sued so i won't say much, but i hope you all can use critical thinking skills as to why i've decided to leave angelico. i wish yoonah, bliss, chloe, sena, and jiah nothing but so much love and well wishes for the best. I'll always have so much love for my five favorite stars in the sky 🌟 until next time, venus! ❤️

The girls would take a short break, something unheard of in their career, to regroup and find a new creative director. In comes Adrian Reyes. Adrian would take over as not only their creative director but producer and marketing manager, ushering Venus into their most controversial era.

??? would be the ninth mini album by Venus with the title track GOTCHA. The ??? era would be defined by the marketing used to prepare for the era. Posters were posted around the world about the "missing sister of Venus" with four girls on the poster. Billboards asking, "Have you seen our moon?" would be put up around LA, Seoul, Busan, Tokyo, Shanghai, and various other cities featuring the four members Sena, Baebi, Jiah, and Bliss, but no Chloe. This led fans to believe she wasn't going to be included in the comeback until a thirty concept film, "Why Venus Has No Moons: ???" It was posted to their YouTube channel.

Venus was finally getting lore, and fans were...very mixed about it!

The album would come, and the title track, GOTCHA, would cause a mass debate on Twitter on whether the song was good or not. The debate still goes on to this day. "GOTCHA" won 10 first-place music program awards, including a triple crown on M Countdown.

In South Korea, the song debuted at number 17 on the Gaon Digital Chart for the issue dated and peaked at number 5 in its second week. It also debuted at number 1 both on the component Download Chart and on the component BGM Chart.  In the United States, the song debuted at number 5 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. It also debuted at number 37 on the Billboard Global 200 and 29 on the Billboard Global Excl. US during the same week.

Venus would win Artist of the Year and Best Female Group at the 2022 MAMA Awards.

2023 Is Often Referred To As VENUS' Redemption Year Because Of The Back, To Back, To Back, To Back Bangers

2023 is often referred to as VENUS' redemption year because of the back, to back, to back, to back bangers they released and their peaks in international success.

The girls started off 2023 with their 4th full album, VMOONS, with theb title track, UNFORGIVEN. "UNFORGIVEN" debuted at number three on South Korea's Circle Digital Chart. On its component charts, the song debuted at number one on the Circle Download Chart, seven on the Circle Streaming Chart, and five on the Circle BGM Chart.  The song also debuted at number four on the Billboard South Korea Songs chart and achieved three Perfect All Kills. In Japan, the song debuted at number 13 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100.

The group would receive six music show wins for the song. The era was marked by their Western aesthetic; the girls typically dressed in cowgirl-esque attire and usually always dawning cowgirl hats. The song was produced by Adrian Reyes, their creative director, who got his redemption arc with the fanbase for this era. VMOONS is often held to a high degree by fans and critics, causing much debate on if this is their best album to date.

UNFORGIVEN MUSIC SHOW OUTFITS.

(RE)MOONS would be Venus' final repacked album with the title track, BRING IT UP. This would be the group's shortest promotional period for unknown reasons. This release was hit or miss with the fans and the general public. It was later revealed that the group and Adrian only had three weeks to prepare for this comeback, leaving them scrambling to figure out what they would do. Adrian's extensive catalog revealed BRING IT UP as a backlogged track. When asked about the song, he would seem agitated. "I wish I had more time to prep. It was a cash grab and didn't go with the lore I established for the girls. I didn't appreciate any of it." slowly revealing tensions between Adrian and Angelico.

The chart data for BRING IT UP is unavailable, but the girls would take home four music show trophies.

"TTYL" was ranked at number 10 in Business Insider's list of The best K-pop songs of 2023, number 12 in Zenerate' list of The 15 Best K-pop Albums of 2023, and number 23 in Dazed's list of the Top 50 best K-pop tracks of 2023. Grammy named it one of the 15 K-pop songs that defined the year.

In South Korea, it peaked at number four on the Circle Chart. It sold 402,377 copies in 2023 and was certified Platinum by the Korea Music Content Association. The song entered the Billboard K-pop Hot 100 chart issue dated at number 21 and reached number one the following week on the issue dated. In Japan, the single debuted at number 24 on the Oricon Combined Singles Chart with 8,219 downloads sold and 1,804,749 streams in its first three days. It debuted at number 17 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 with 33,952 estimated units and peaked at number eight the following week with 26,321 estimated units. The song peaked at number one in Malaysia and Singapore for eight weeks each, and was the highest-selling song of 2023 in Malaysia.

TTYL would usher in the girl's first real wave of international promotion with them getting their second world tour as well as appearances on many western talk shows such as Jimmy Fallon Tonight, The Zach Sang Show, The Late Late Show with James Cordon, The Kelly Clarkson show, as well as having a Tink Desk concert.

Though promotions were going well, it was becoming increasingly apparent that tensions between Adrian Reyes and Angelico were reaching new heights. A now famous clip of Adrian glaring at both Son Jinhwa and Jeon Jihan, the CEO and COO of Angelico at the time, as they talked to VENUS backstage at their Detroit concert would go viral on Twitter. Adrian would quote a tweet using the video, tweeting, "haha i'm trying to melt them with my brain😂" but would swiftly delete it, tweeting moments later: "wrong account lol!"

It would come to no one's shock when VENUS' eleventh mini album, BLESSED IT BE, would be the final album Adrian Reyes would work with the group on before leaving Angelico Entertainment. Fans often take the title track being FORGIVEN as two meanings: The ending of the UNFORGIVEN era and fans forgiving Adrian for GOTCHA in 2022.

"Blessed It Be" debuted at number eight on South Korea's Circle Digital Chart in the chart issue dated; on its component charts, it debuted at number two on the Circle Download Chart, number 13 on the Circle Streaming Chart, and number 15 on the Circle BGM Chart. The song ascended to number three on the Circle Streaming Chart in the following week and number two on the Circle Digital Chart. On the Billboard South Korea Songs, the song debuted at number 11, ascending to number two in the following week. In Japan, "Blessed It Be" debuted at number 32 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100.
