Moon with No Sun Ch. 1 Broken

Moon’s view

I was in pain… so much pain…

I went inside the daycare, where Sun was cleaning.

He saw.

He saw it all.

The oil coming out of my left eye and my left arm. Both were missing. My pants were ripped here and there; I looked ruined.

Sun immediately rushes to my side and asks, “What happened??” He asks, a worried look on his face.

Sunny’s view

I had been cleaning up the daycare after the children and was going to set up a game me and my brother could play for our YouTube channel. When my brother came into the daycare, it was an oily mess.

“What happened??” I ask, worried for my brother.

“Nothing..” He responds, looking into the distance.

“Moon! This is not nothing!” I respond a little too loudly.

He flinches.

I stare at him before sighing, "Look, Moon. I didn’t mean to yell; I’m just worried about you. You know I love you and just want the best for you, right?” I hesitantly go to touch him, and he leans in.

“I know…. It was just a fight… I swear.”

“If you don’t want to talk about it, that’s fine.” I sigh as I continue, “Let me help you get fixed-“

“I tried… I went to parts and services, and they couldn’t find the parts, even said that they couldn’t buy more… I can’t be fixed." Moon interrupts me.

"Well, then you could always-“

“I am not taking about your parts, Sun! You’re my brother, and I’m not going to let you get ruined because of a dumb mistake I made.” He interrupts me again.

“Ok… have you charged recently?"  I ask, changing the subject. 

Moon checks his battery. “Fuck… 1%……” and with that, he falls onto me.

“I’m sorry, Moon… It’s the only way.” I say as I look down at him, tears in my eyes.

Moon’s view

I checked my battery... only 1% left…

“Fuck… 1%……” And with that, I blacked out.

At some point, I woke up again.

I look around, trying to remember what happened, I put my hand on my head… It was killing me…… wait….. I….. I felt something on my head that wasn’t there moments before… It felt like…. 

Rays? 

Rays…….

Sun’s…. Rays….

Sun!

I look around for Sun……. 

And there I see… Sun…. Lying on the floor… left eye, arm missing, and rays… missing, oil spilling out of where they once were. Pants were ripped up, and it looked like he’d been like that for a while… an hour at most… maybe more… 

I went to touch him, and there I saw.

My arm……………

It was his………

It couldn’t be…

I felt oil go down my neck… I realized I had been clawing at it.

I ripped more of Sun’s pants as a bandage for my neck, then left the daycare.

I would never come back here; I would live life anew somewhere else… wherever life took me.

(Yes, I know I used the same background as ch 1 of July 16th, I was to lazy to make a new background, so I used @crumpet-doodles’s background they made me for July 16 ch.1)

Ch. 2 The Death of a Sun

Moon’s view

“If you don’t get HIM under control, then I’ll unwire you myself.”

“OH NO! Your robotic emotions! Just clean up my mess like you always do.”

“I’m not strong-!”

Slap

I look at Sun, with fury in my eyes, “Don’t. Continue. That. Sentence. You are strong Sun.”

I look at Sun’s face, and I can see the slap cracked his face a little.

But I don’t care…

All I can see is red.

“Go to hell.” Sun hisses, I can see his eyes dial a little.

Then he calms down slightly, “If you need me, I’ll be at Golden Freddy’s.”

“Whatever…” I answer as I watch him leave.

I snap out of it as I hear the clock ticking, as I look from the dead person I had killed to the clock, I realize Sun has left for a whole week.

“I messed up with Sun… I’m a terrible brother. He hasn’t come back yet, maybe I should find him and apologize.” I try to remember where he said he was going. “He said Golden Freddy’s place… if I remember correctly.”

I walk out of the bunker into the forest. As I go to Golden’s place I think ‘I wonder why he went to-“

My thoughts were interrupted when I felt something fall onto my forehead, as I look up, I see it’s raining.

“Oh great! It’s raining!” I think out loud annoyed, I’d have to find shelter to get out of the rain.

I then see a cabin in the distance, “Oh, a cabin in the woods! Guess I’ll wander in and see if it comes with a ‘Welcome Intruder’ sigh!” I say sarcastically.

As I get closer, I realize it’s abandoned, “Alright, Moon, into the, what I’m guess to be a abandoned cabin. Hope no demons are haunting the place.” I joke to myself.

‘Sun would have been laughing by now… I miss- now’s not the time to think about how you messed up Moon!”

As I walk up to the cabin, I see the doors have been recently opened.

Walking inside, I use the sunlight to see inside the cabin. I see picture frames, a kitchen area, living/dining room area, then doors that lead to bedrooms and the bathroom, everything is rotting or falling apart, “Wow, this place is old.”

I look closer at the couch in the living/dining room area, I though I saw some yellow and red… like a lot of yellow and red… kinda looks like Sun…

I walk closer…

“Wait.. SUN?!”

I run over to him, but then slow down as I get closer.

Oh god…

There was oil everywhere…

His wires…

Did he…

No.. no… no……. NO NO NO NO NO NO!

He….

I see a folded piece of paper on a table next to the couch. On it said ᗰOOᑎ, in not that so legible handwriting. I go to read it.

Ch.1 Blood

Sunny’s view 

Moon had made Lunar a new body, we had just gotten rid of Eclipse, and everything was great!

I was in my room resting, when I got this… craving.

It just came out of nowhere, a craving for blood… oil. I get out of bed, and I feel like I can hear a distant voice in my head.. maybe it’s side effects from getting rid of Eclipse? I’ll have to ask Moon.

I snap out of my thoughts when I hear meowing. Looking down, I can see my cats, Midnight and Comet, rubbing against me.

“Are you hungry?” I ask the cats as I pick them up, “I’ll get you some cat food while I’m in the kitchen.” I place them on my bed as I leave my room.

Heading to the kitchen, I continue to hear the voices in my head, I mumble to myself, “Just ignore it. Just ignore it. Just ignore-“

“You ok Sun?”

I immediately snap out of it as I stare at Moon, who was looking back at me, slightly concerned and confused, with a bowl of nuts and bolts in his hand.

“Uhh… ya! I’m completely fine!” I lie as I look anywhere but him.

He could tell something was wrong, but said nothing. I walk over to a cabinet with the oil, grabbing some as I walk to a different cabinet with the cat food inside.

“Cat food?” Moon asks.

Shit, I forgot Moon has never met my cats. 

“Uh.. Lunar wanted… cat food… to try?” I poorly lie, again.

Moon sighs, then chuckles, “If you have a cat, that’s fine with me.”

“I have two!” I blurt out, then when I realize what I did, I rush out of the kitchen.

Moon just chuckles again, as he continues to eat.

Back in my room, I feed my cats, then chug down the oil. The craving was still there…

I suddenly feel tired, I look at my battery, full charge… well, maybe I could rest for a little bit…

Getting onto the bed, I feel my cats jump onto me and curl up, and like that, I fall asleep.

Waking up, I feel worse than before, but the voices were gone. My cats were in the corner, staring at me.

I look down at myself, and I see I’m covered in oil… is that red I see? Probably from my outfit. The oil… I probably spilled some while I was asleep. I look to my table and see the can was spilled.

Grabbing the can I throw it into the trashcan in my room. Then, I take my sheets and blanket, into the laundry room, as I grab a clean towel from a laundry basket. Cleaning myself from the oil, I get all the oil off. Putting the towel in with the sheets and blankets, I let the washing machine do its magic. After awhile, I take the sheets, blanket, and towel out and take a laundry basket.

I go into the castle above the ball pit in the daycare, sit on the couch and fold the laundry.

Moon comes in, gives me a weird look, then walks into his room.

Ch. 2 The New Sun

Moon’s view

As I leave the daycare, Vanny decides to start talking to me, ‘So… glad he’s gone, now you won’t get distracted with your miss-‘

‘SHUT UP!’

As I continue to argue with Vanny in my head, I bump into someone, when I look slightly up, I see it’s Monty.

“Moon! Buddy! So… how are you? I’m g-“

“What do you want?!” I growl out.

“Sheesh, you don’t have to be that rude.” Me and Vanny roll our eyes, “Anyways, I have a new business idea, ya interested?”

“No, I’m busy.”

“With what? That dumbass brother of yo-“

“SHUT UP!” I could feel the killcode take over slightly, with the help of Vanny.

“Ok! Ok… speaking of the du- champ, where is he? I have something for him.”

“You mean scam him?” I ask, with slight venom, in my voice.

“I mean… not really… ok ya… sooooooo, can I see him or?”

“No! I mean… he’s busy..”

‘Smooth.’ She replies sarcastically.

“Shut up.” I mutter.

“What?”

“Uhh.. nothing.” and with that, I leave Monty to himself.

I continue to walk, until I’m in the lobby of the pizzeria.

‘What’s that?’ Vanny asks.

“What’s what?” I ask, looking around.

“THAT!” As she slightly controls me, she moves me closer to this… blue glowing… portal?

“What is that?”

‘A portal you idiot.’

“I know, but why is it here?”

‘Idk! Why are you asking me?!’

“……. Ima get closer.”

As I walk closer, I can hear Vanny yell things like, ‘THATS A FUCKING STUPID IDEA’ ‘Moon!’ ‘Are you even listening?!’ Then she basically just gave up as I continue to walk towards the portal.

‘Fine, whatever! Go in there and possibly die for all I care! Your brother will be a better vessel for him anyways then you….’

“What did you just s-?!”

‘Fuck! Uhhhhhh…….’ I got interrupted when, somehow, she pushed me into the portal.

“VANNY YOU BITCH!” I yell as the portal sucks me in.

When I get dropped out, the portal disappears, and I can see, I’m back in the daycare.

“I’m back in the FUCKING building again?! My god!”

Sunny’s view

“Thank you for all your help Moon.”

“No problem, now, I have to get going, my Sun is probably worried sick about me.”

As he goes to leave, I ask, “Umm, would it be ok if I came with you? I have nothing left here.”

He turns around and looks at me, pity, just like her… mom Vanessa… Pity, that’s all people look at me with! I’m not something to pity!

I snap out of my thoughts as I hear him talk, “I think one Sun is enough, I don’t think I could handle two.” He jokes, but… I hear some seriousness in his voice… “I’ll visit though.”

My heart breaks, but it’s nothing new.

I then hear him whisper to himself as he gets into the ball pit portal, “I feel bad for him.”

My heart hurts more, “I’m not a boy…” I mutter as I mess with the computers by the security desk.

The computers started working properly again, but after an hour, one started having sparks come out of it, and exploded, then the rest. One by one, the computers were gone.

Moon was gone.

I would get dismantled…

Tears started to come down my eye.

“I’m back in the FUCKING building again?! My god!”

I perk up slightly, was Moon back? What if it’s not him… what if it’s the security guards? I don’t want to die…

“Who’s there?!” I yell, hoping my voice sounded threatening, getting all of the tears out of my eyes.

Moon’s view

I hear someone yell… wait.

It sounded like…

Sun!

I went to yell out something, but remembered……. Sun’s dead…

I go to hide behind one of the play structures, and look slightly over, and there I see… Sun, but, he looks different… more… cartoony looking, with ankles and feet that look like a Moon’s…..

Sun… no… he’s dead… HE’S DEAD! I SAW HIS BODY! HE’S DEAD! HE’S DEAD! HE’S DEAD!HE’S DEAD!HE’S DEAD!HE’S DEAD!HE’S DEAD!HE’S DEAD!HE’S DEAD!HE’S DEAD!HE’S DEAD!HE’S DEAD!HE’S DEAD!NONONONONONONONO NONONONONONONONO NONONONONONONON-

I can feel the killcode try to break free, but I do nothing as I continue to panic, I feel tears come down my eyes.

THIS ISN’T REAL!!HE’S DEAD!

I then feel someone grab my hands and take then away from… oh… was I clawing at my neck again…?

I look up and see……………

Sunny’s view

“Are you ok?” I ask worried, I look him up and down.

He looked like Moon, but I could tell this wasn’t him, Moon did talk a lot about dimension traveling… maybe this guy did that? The poor guy looked scared and confused.

I felt him put one of his hands on my face, all the while muttering, “This isn’t real… your not real…”

“I’m sorry to say, this is real.” I responded softly.

Immediately after that, he hugs me, which was… unexpected, but I… I liked it. I hug him back. We stayed like that for awhile, until he lets go slightly let’s go.

“If you’re fine with it, could you answer some questions?”

“Sure…” he says quietly and softly.

Moon Moonrise’s view

“What’s your name?”

“Moon-“ I was going to answer just Moon, but… I wanted a fresh start, to be someone completely new, so I answered with the first thing that came to mind, “rise. Moonrise.”

“Nice to meet you! I’m Sunny. Next question, what gender are you? I don’t want to assume you’re a guy. I’m female.”

Female? But Sun’s a- this isn’t my Sun….

“Male.”

“Um, could you tell me what happened to make you freak out like that? You don’t have to!”

I… I don’t want to, but maybe he- she could help me.

So, I tell him everything, well… not about the killcode, Vanny, or Glitchtrap.

I can see his her face looks sad and worried for me.

“I’m so sorry.”

I chuckle, “It’s not your fault.”

She was about to answer, but then started to yawn. She checks her battery, it shows %10 battery.

She again, was going to say something, but got interrupted by me picking her up, without any effort, and takes her to a charging station. When I put her down, I see she’s already asleep. I charge her myself, then charge myself.

As I cling to her, I mutter, “I couldn’t protect my Sun, but I’ll make sure I protect you, even if I have kill other people to do so.”
