today my friend got a haircut, she looks as pretty as ever. my own hair has a little wave to it from the creek. hers is neat as a pin. i wonder if with her hair went the weight from her shoulders, she stands taller with her new trim. and i love that for her.
taking my brother to football practice at a quarter to five. the sun should still be out when i get back to him. i love the summer. the sun and i are the best long distance couple to ever be, in the winter he gets distant. almost like someone else i know.
the herbs are looking good today. my cilantro is soaking up the sun and as soon as my tomatoes are ready to pick, i’ll have salsa to can! i thrifted some jars and lids about a week ago. hoping to find a few more before harvest comes.
