I think chell would somehow live to 100+ years old because she would be too stubborn to die

Something about Old Aperture has always been so cozy and comforting to me. I remember my favorite fics from 7 years ago was just Chell exploring more of Old Aperture. Like…it’s a nasty and abandoned place, but something about the isolation and lost history makes my chest feel warm and fuzzy. Maybe it’s the abundance of liminal spaces.

it's so funny how much i'm into old aperture JUST bcuz it's old n it has cave n caroline. it's 2 the point where i will imagine the old laboratories n office rooms b4 their decomposition n just kick my legs n giggle abt it. i tried getting into portal stories: mel but i just kept replaying the opening chapter bcuz it showed aperture science in its prime w/ its midcentury aesthetic intact. someone should put me down
