1950s Cave n Caro! I wasn’t happy with how the lineart was turning out on it so I used it as an experiment for shading and it honestly turned out less bad than I thought it would.
Instead of a Portal 3 or another puzzle-based Portal game, I want a Portal walking simulator. I want to play as Chell (or some other test subject) exploring all the levels of the facility and unearthing clues as to who the scientists who ran the place were, before it all went wrong. No tests, no danger, just ambiance and intricate details behind each door. Crawling through the vast entirety of Aperture, a decaying mausoleum to science and the ego of Cave Johnson. Basically the beginning of “Portal Stories: Mel” except longer.

A lot of people like to compare "Aperture Science vs. Black Mesa" but honestly I think they're more similar than different.
Both Aperture Science and Black Mesa messed around with science and new technologies, but for what reason? Honestly I don't think there is or was a reason. Cave Johnson famously said, "Science isn't about why, it's about why not." Wallace Breen abused his power as Earth's Administrator to satiate his own curiosities about what exists beyond human knowledge, and used that to try and coerce Eli Vance to his side.
I think the scientists of Aperture Science and their Black Mesa counterparts literally just did science for the hell of it. They were just secretly simple-minded people needing some sort of stimulus, but the pursuit of that stimulus is disguised as genius and invention.
Meanwhile, as protagonists, Chell and Gordon have to deal with the horrible consequences of the actions of those bored individuals with extreme power.
And isn't that really all of us?

In my au spacey was corrupted hans why she was always talking about space but since they was lost out in space and apertures astronauts took her in. They brought her back to the facility and fixed her saw the corruption saw it and turns out not only her having alot of knowledge on space makes her practically smarter then Wheatley. Yet she hates him after all he did to her and chell
Tho.. for some time them being stuck in space she fell in love with wheatley seeing he had a smidge of humane feelings in him regret remorse pain hurt
Not just wanting to be the bigger and better one. He wanted to be the one who tries again and fix things.
Tho we both dont know what happened to wheatley (yet) but im more then sure he will be back.
But spacey wont be pleased tho. She still is hurt with what he did to them. And to her and him. Nearly dying in space
