You ever go someplace liminal, and get the distinct feeling of “we should not be here”?

Doesn’t matter how many people are in the group, safety in numbers they say, but there’s no safety here. You should not be here and something is telling you “LEAVE”-

But you don’t, because nobody else feels it.

Or they do, but they’re afraid to say it.

You keep walking.

You go deeper on this path that is quickly becoming overgrown.

The rush of cars is merely a whisper, if it’s even there at all now.

The sun has gone down but you don’t hear any crickets.

It’s dark but you can’t see stars. Blame it on the light pollution.

Someone suggests that you should turn back, the path is barely there now after all.

You turn back.

You make it back to camp and the feeling goes away.

Something tells you that you were so close to not making it ou-

I’m on chapter 40 of The Magnus Archives and Martin is fast becoming one of my favorite little guys.

Not super excited to be piloting for a few weeks due to the release date for a show being just announced for this month but I’ll live I guess. It’s pretty exciting and people are screeching happily over here.

Void finally picked his name! Norri was a placeholder name anyways so I’d say good for them, it’s a pretty accurate fit if I say so myself.
