HC/AU (idk which one this goes to :P) where prophetic gods, like Phoebe, Themis and Apollo, usually have their eyes closed/covered since it helped them focus more to see through their other eyes (aka, lowkey wanted to try drawing Apollo with a more eldritch design ^^;)

It was said that the sun is considered a star in our solar system. As the god of the sun, Apollo’s eyes resemble a shining star surrounded by the galaxy. Whenever he laughs or smile, the star would always shine brighter. It screams ‘Hey! I’m right here! Look at me!” and many heads would turn towards his direction. Maybe that was why he opted to wear sunglasses, an attempt to try not to draw too many attention. Because of this, his children would inherit half of his star like eyes. (Aka: an Oshi No Ko inspired AU because I just think Apollo with Ai's eyes and his kids having Ruby/Aqua's eyes looks interesting.)
hello! thank you to the 224 people who voted on this poll to help me decide DISCLAIMER these will BOTH get written! this just decided which one it will be first, and it will be the rebellion fic. the link to this fic when it gets written will be on a post. if you want to get notified when I make that post and send the link, just ask! I will happily @ you in the post :) A FEW FACTS the goal for this rebellion fic was for it to be, well, long. not just one fic, actually. its going to be 5, each with 20 - 25 chapters (hopefully)! I really wanted this to feel like another part of the half-blood chronicles, and I hope I can show that :)
Something that’s always bugged me is “How can Apollo and Artemis be the sun and moon if Helios and Selene exist?” And I’ve finally figured it out. Helios and Selene are the physical moon and sun but Artemis and Apollo are the emotions attached to them, because what is Apollo but a god of emotion? (As is Dionysus, but he’s pure, chaotic emotion) Now let me explain what I mean: Apollo is the warmth you feel when the sun comes out from the clouds and everything brightens, he’s all the joy connected to a nice summer’s day. Now Artemis, being his sister is still a goddess of emotion even if it’s not her main focus. Artemis is that dread of the night, that creeping fear that makes you want to get inside because something in darkness means to hunt you down under the dim light of the moon, it’s shining beauty mesmerizing but you know if you stare too long you’re defenseless.
These twin gods are directly connected to humanity while their titanius counterparts are the overwhelming heavenly bodies that you can’t help but appreciate their pure presence.

He is also an "oracular god" as a patron of Delphi and could predict prophecy through the Delphic Oracle, Pythia.

He is one of my favourite characters in the movie. My favorite episode of him was about his love story with Daphne.
