I know that it’s pretty common knowledge that humans in the Pikmin universe are most likely dead or extinct ,but I thought it’d be a interesting idea that the humans were taken over by a disease that made them all walking plant people (basically leaflings but giant and more angsty)
Safe to say, that encountering one of these things would send someone into an immediate panic attack, sorry Olimar :,)

I think that if Dingo had met Louie in a more casual situation, he would be fascinated with the guy. No, he doesn't know a single thing about Louie— He never really talks, and he's always watching the world go by (and Louie will never let Dingo within 5cm of his cooking space, let alone 3m, so he has no idea). Olimar is weird. He was, like, an animal? And he's still got that weird edge, and all he does is talk about his stupid job and incompetent coworkers and sometimes some really fantastical traumatic things that Dingo is too afraid to confirm. But Louie? Louie is broody and too cool for words. Dingo wants to join his club, wherever that is and whatever they do. Maybe it has something to do with the cool house arrest anklet industrial bracelet on Louie's ankle?

I have a LOT of lore in progress for how Olimar's curse came about, and how it works. With much vagueness: resentful, but resigned. In this AU, the deity (deities?) alluded to throughout the games are very much real and very temperamental, but otherwise champion Olimar for the sake of a good story and don't let him die very easily. He made some bad choices. He's come to terms with his lapse in judgment, even though he thinks he should have been cut some slack for all the stress. Not your traditional werebeast. Gentle inspiration from LOZ: Twilight Princess, somewhere in there. All of it has really helped him identify the tacit joy and purpose in survivalism, and it gives him an excuse for wanting to go back to the planet (which he's not too happy with himself for).
