Another once a blue moon post have a silly pmd oc
I was not tagged but this seemed too fun.
All of these are more or less true! Star is awful with technology at first but gets better pretty quickly. Emerald would not decorate THAT early, but she would start making jokes about “early Christmas” once November 1st hit, and Edmond would question it, but pretty quickly just accept that this is a thing now.

Tried out a new shading style by drawing my PMD EoT team. From left to right, there’s Haneko (A Female Charmander), Pingu (A Male Piplup), Butterfree (A Male Butterfree), and Venomoshi (A Female Venomoth).
Also the team is called Team Fish.
Oh and yes, the team name is a Just Shapes and Beats reference lmao.
(oh and if you’ve seen my readit account, I am working on a Manga with this team being the main characters. Maybe I’ll post the manga here too lmao)
(Team Heartseekers info in third paragraph!) Wasn’t necessarily planning on starting to post on this account yet, but I figured since today is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon day, I might as well lol.
My first tumblr post, starring two of my pokemon mystery dungeon ocs: Jet and Cyan! I’ll probably only be posting my pmd ocs to this account for the foreseeable future, so if that interests you, feel free to stick around!
Team Heartseekers was formed by Jet, who was inspired by a rescue team from land that visited the reef that he lives at. The only other consistent member is Cyan, though occasionally other children from the reef might join in for a mission or two. Team Heartseekers specializes in helping out around the reef that the members live at. They will occasionally go into tamer mystery dungeons to help out weaker pokemon that find themselves trapped, but for the most part, they mostly just run errands for pokemon that can't find the time and need the help. Both because there's no system in place for rescue teams underwater and because the team consists of children, Team Heartseekers is unofficial and thus does not have a rank.
(Info on Jet below the cut!) This piece was actually partially perspective practice, so feel free to leave constructive criticism if it looks a bit odd lol.
Jet is the leader of Team Heartseekers, mainly because the group was his idea and he had the driving modivation to make it in the first place, and partially because Cyan is a bit too shy to lead and would rather go along with what the much more vocal Finizen wants to do. He's a somewhat gullible but well meaning, friendly, and enthusiastic young Finizen that dreams of evolving into a Palafin one day. He formed the team for that reason, since he's been told that the best way to evolve into a Palafin is to "prove yourself worthy" and "willing to help and protect others". Despite the fact that most of the work the team does is simple errands and the like for pokemon around the reef he lives at, Jet genuinely finds the work fun and fulfilling, and would probably still lead the team even if he wasn't looking to evolve.

Cyan is definitely the follower of Team Heartseekers, and mostly just enjoys being with Jet and goes where the young Finizen wants to go. He's a bit shy and leaves the talking and decisions to Jet for the most part. However, despite his somewhat timid nature, he's surprisingly powerful when put under duress and can get the team out of many tight situations they might find themselves in due to Jet's overenthusiam. He somehow got seperated from his home many years ago, and now can barely remember it and can't at all remember where it was or how he got lost in the first place, but despite him asking many pokemon to try to at least figure out what he is, no one is sure what exact pokemon he is, as no one has seen his kind before. He would love to find his home again, or at least get answers about who he is, but he doesn't know where to even begin searching to find the answers to his questions.
