The 8th Amendment bans cruel and unusual punishment, but while spending a night with an officer before getting swallowed is certainly an unusual punishment for Jaywalking, with a body and face like that you weren’t quite sure it was cruel.

Slowly sliding into the fleshy cavern from which he knows he’ll never escape, he can’t help do anything but just stare up at the ceiling thinking to himself about what his life had been up until this point. He’s not past the point of no return; he can fight this and escape, but what’s the point. This was inevitable. It’s better to be slowly taken inside his voracious friend’s throat than to live in fear of this fate. At complete peace with the world before he leaves it behind and it all goes black. Yes, peace at last
“A picture is worth a thousand words”
A phrase that is so often quoted to the point it is considered a cliche. A cliche perhaps not only by its frequency of use, but also by how obvious it may seem. This photo above seems to portray that so much stronger though.
The image contains a tangible sense of dread. The subject, a young Henry, staring at the entrance to the abyss that will soon capture him. Taken just hours before his death, there’s a sense of despair as he gazes upon what will soon steal his freedom in just mere minutes. The composition, particularly the relationship between Henry and the faceless ass that will consume him are framed in such a way I probably did not even have to reveal Henry’s fate, it was already so clearly foreshadowed. A melancholy sorrow permeates on his face, not that of fear, but loss. He seems less concerned about the horrors he knows to be awaiting him just behind those cheeks and more so grieving all that he will be leaving behind in the world before passing through that one way gate to his demise. It is in this moment he accepts his own mortality, depressed by this revelation, but not afraid. An accepting glare that acknowledges his hesitance and his loss while also acknowledging the inevitability as he prepares to enter the faceless figure to be processed into mere compounds.
And whose fault is that!? You know if you let me out, the hike would get a lot easier. Just saying . . . please, I don’t wanna die in here
Fatty is out of breath.
The moment that this poor dude realizes why he’s there, what’s going to happen to him and most importantly how inevitable it is. Freedom is just feet away through that open door, but he doesn’t budge, accepting his fate with solemn dignity.
It’s honestly insane what you can do with money. I mean heck, to be able to buy a hunk like this who would normally be able to swallow you in an instant. For him to set aside any semblance of meritocracy and relegate himself to be meat for a man nature never intended to feast on someone half his strength. But he understood the sacrifice he was making when he entered this auction. He knew voluntarily selling his body would likely prove fatal for him, but it’s extraordinary how much someone is willing to do when desperate. Even as he is pulled inside some rich asshole’s asshole as some sick joke, even as he’s melting away into another greedy layer of fat, he will be at peace knowing what his new owners could never understand. That it is more satisfying to know that he can keep his family fed than it is to keep from getting fed to someone else
