Project 863 - Tumblr Posts
Ya know, I'm honestly surprised more people on Tumblr aren't into Project 863. Like it seems like it should have a decent following but I guess it just. Doesn't.
Ya know. When I heard that Project 863 was ending after this season I was. Worried. Don't get me wrong, I was also devastated but it was mainly worry at first. Because I've seen these types of things happen before. Time after time, I get invested in a show or a series of books, and then I find out that it would never get the ending it deserved.
But as I watched the final video, I realized that Matt knew what he was doing. Because this actually feels like a series finale. All the big mysteries are solved, while still giving the story enough room to breathe for the book. The characters get closure. The audience gets closer. Its just a good finale without actually being one.
Am I sad to see the series go? Yeah, absolutely, especially seeing as I can't pay for the weekly chapters. But did this ending feel empty, like so many others do? No. Not at all.
Here are some of the incorrect quotes I talked about!

Matt: We got a free day now. What do you wanna do? Eat? Sleep? Nap? Snack?
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Tanner: I'm allergic to death.
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Sam, rushing into the room: It’s terrible, just terrible! I am so upset!
Bailey: Sam, honey, sit down! Sweetheart, tell us all about it. Woods, would you get Sam some water?
Woods: What are they gonna do with water? Has water ever made you feel better when you were upset? Have you ever heard anyone say, “Thank God, the water’s here!”?

Ben: If karma doesn't hit you, I fucking will.
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Matt: You know the sound a fork makes in the garbage disposal? That's the sound that Tanner's brain makes all the time.
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Wes: Go to sleep or you'll hate yourself in the morning!
Deb: I'll hate my self in the morning regardless.
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Deb: But when all hope seemed lost, I had an epiphany!
Deb, earlier: I'm going to throw myself into the sea.
