So idk if you do smut or taking any request at the moment but if you do can you do Lee where he gets jealous? Like commandant is spending TOO much time with Wanshi being his pillow and all.

Author's Note:

Hi, you can still submit requests,I don't mind doing them from time to time. But rn I am a bit busy irl, so it will take a while for me to finish.

As of right now, I don't write Smut. At most, I could is implications of sexual acts. But not full pornographic details/paragraphs.

But also, a Lee and Wanshi sandwich????!!! 😍😍

I know I said this before, but I will say this again, I really need to get to Echo Aria.😢I have heard about their interaction and, Boi... it's *Chefs kiss*

Edit: aksjakjskaka, I made a huge mistake, it has now been fixed.😭😭

"Our" (Grey Raven's) Commandant...

So Idk If You Do Smut Or Taking Any Request At The Moment But If You Do Can You Do Lee Where He Gets

Lee (Entropy) x Commandant/reader (ft. Wanshi)

Summary:

Lately, Lee has been experiencing a unique emotion whenever he sees you with another construct, Wanshi. Although, he was convinced it was just some malfunctioning of his M. I. N. D programming. His actions spoke other wise.

Needless to say, Wanshi seems know what was going on.

Tags: Tw: Jealousy, gatekeeping behaviour, request, mild fluff, one shot, a triangle

It started at thirty centimetres. By the time you came back to Babylonia from an earth mission, the proximity, between you and Wanshi shrank by ten.

A week later, it reduced to five, four, three, two, one, all the way to zero. Lee counted the units, whenever he saw you and Wanshi together.

He had been counting, the units on full display in his inner device. Recording the number of times that proximity unit reached to zero. According to his data, it happened more than a 'good' amount.

"I am sorry, but this is 'our' (Grey Raven's) Commandant," he once warned Wanshi, who only looked at Lee with a nonchalant expression. Eyes heavy with fatigue, Wanshi, whom, with a more mature way of thinking, only nodded and ignore Lee's statement. Keeping things civil, Hypnos hummed and walked away.

Without a doubt, it infuriated Lee. Holing up in his room, the construct ruminated in thought, while dismantling his gears. In his mind, you have been spending more time with Strike Hawk. At first, as Lee thought, it was all professional and work related. That was until, he noticed how close you and Wanshi were. A little too close for Lee's comfort.

Needless to say, he began to device preventative measures to bring an end to this madness. Doing everything he could to stop the proximity reaching to Zero. He went as far as to slot himself between you and Wanshi, accompany you everywhere, turning down opportunities of contact on your behalf.

Despite the efforts, he was disheartened. Upset, having spotted you sleeping with Wanshi in the training room.

You were fast asleep against Wanshi's chest cushions, all the while, the construct 'slept' in leisure. The fire arms were laying on the ground, unsupervised, and the scent of gunpowder lingered in the air.

There was a heavy feeling in Lee's chest, a set of emotions ruptured from his M. I. N. D., triggering his physical symptoms.

In denial, Entropy questioned himself. Back tracking through his schedule to see if it was something he did or damaged. Did the construct engineering team replaced the wrong gear? Replenished too much vital fluid?

'I must be overloading', Lee thought to himself.

He didn't say anything but went to carefully picked you up in his arms. It would be better to sleep in a bed.

Without a word, Lee carried you back to your quarters. Only to find you, once again, asleep with Wanshi the following night in the training room. Same again on the next following night again and again.

Gritting his teeth by how maddening this occurance was, Lee picked you up for the final time. You were still fast asleep, exhausted from the training.

The same set of emotions swirled in his M. I.N.D. Lingering his gaze as Hypnos, Lee clicked his tougne out of frustration.

"This is our Commandant," he mumbled, "go get your own..."

"... That's not how Strike Hawk works, you surely know that."

Taking a step back, Lee glared at Wanshi. Shifting in his sleeping position, with his eyes still closed, Hypnos gave a yawn before slowly, very slowly, opened his tired eyes.

Lee scoffed at his last sentence. Clearly hiding the embrassment, of his biased opinion being heard.

"Of course I know that," Lee replied, "But what are you doing, always approaching our Commandant?"

Wanshi only look back at Lee with an indifference gaze. Disinterested in engaging an argument, the construct began stretching before laying back down. Shifting, in a more comfortable position.

He closed his eyes and said, "We just so happen to fall asleep here. Commandant just wants to practise aiming."

There was a scene of you mentioning about your shooting skills played in Lee's memory data. During that time, he wasn't in for a small talk, and didn't put your concerns at heart. Thus, it was his own doing for pushing you to seek others for help. Maybe that's why you went to Wanshi instead.

"... Rest assure, I am not stealing your Commandant. I was just trying to help..." Wanshi quickly fell silent, entering into a slumber, he left Lee reflecting on his emotions.

After a long paused, Wanshi spoke up again, "... it's okay to be jealous"

For a split second there was an impulse urge for Lee to point a gun against Wanshi's head. But, Entropy quickly recovered. He gave Wanshi's sleeping form one last look before heading back to your quarters with his teeth gritted together.

******

To recieve a notice on the following morning, Wanshi realised he'd just recieved an offical complaint. Placing the tablet down on the coffee table, the construct just resumed his slumber on sofa.

"Wanshi," Chrome's voice snapped Wanshi awake, "Care to explain why we got an offical complaint?"

"It was just some misunderstanding..." Wanshi replied.

"Is that all you are going to say?" Chrome pressed further.

"It's not much of a big deal," Wanshi said, "just about jealousy."

Looking up at the ceiling, Wanshi gave a small smile before yawning and fall back asleep.

NOTICE!!

Hello, I have been thinking about this for quite a while.

Since my interests has been jumping around as of late, I have been finding myself Brainrotting for other fandoms as well.

Other fandoms that I am into currently:

Honkai: Star Rail

Dislyte ( seperate blog:@esper-union-lounge )

Genshin Impact (Once in a blue moon)

PGR(I am still into it but I need a break ;w;)

My own OCs (yes, they are kinda their own thing.)

So, I have been thinking of revamping this blog into my creative writing corner and a Multi-fandom blog.

This also allows me to take a break from writing PGR, since I have been doing that non stop for almost a year, to kinda focus on other things like my art (yes, I draw too.)

I feel as though, I need to offer an explanation to the people who support me, and I am grateful that you took your time to read what I create.

Changes would be inevitable, but the guidelines are still pretty much the same. Though, this time I won't be strictly writing reader inserts, but maybe a story series or more character studies, idk.

I apologise if there are some people who strictly wants to read only PGR stuff.

A Rant about the Wuwa storyline at 3am:

((Sorry, I just couldn't hold it in anymore, long rant, and I genuinely think there is a misunderstanding.))

I am going to get flame or hate for this but... Oh well.

Just offering my opinion and 2 cents... Tldr; at the end.

I know the topic about the storyline in the Wuthering Waves beta has set debates, and even some animosity with the CN side.

I have heard about the CN and global comments. Hence, I actually got curious, and went ahead to watch all the cut scenes, both from Global and CN.

After watch both versions, I have some thoughts:

Firstly, I do agree that having characters that are not immediately in love/ infactuated with the MC quickly, is definitely refreshing. I am also tired of the harem tropes.

I do like the aspects as to how the MC is going to nagivate their way through all sorts of people, and their interaction with the characters of different personalities.

In the beginning, I also thought the CN side was too sensitive and whinny.

However, after watching the cut scenes on both ends, I will say that the CN's criticism about the "Harsh" treatment is not invalid.

I think there is a misunderstanding of what the Global side thinks the CN side is referring too. I also find the use of the word, "Harsh" is incorrect.

I think there are a number of factors that contributed to the unsatisfactory of the characterisations and the story as a whole. To simply put everything under the word "Harsh" and call it a day, I don't think it's fair.

I see a lot of people in global referring the "Harsh" treatment as Chixia holding her gun at Rover, and not being buddies to Rover, unlike Yang Yang.

It not so much about being suspected as a threat or not being able to get off from the waifu fantasy. (I will not deny that there are some ppl who wants that.)

More so, it's the character dialogue and the story writing in itself. Edit: Don't get me started on the cheesy cutscenes and dialogue.

There are moments where Chixia's dialogue is incredibly rude in Chinese, but the English translation didn't hold the same interpretation. Hence, the Global ver sounded less harsh, and the insults didn't hold as much weight as it would in Chinese.

For example, the scene where Rover returns the Resonance Terminal that Chixia dropped. She got irritated/annoyed, and snatched it away.

Her dialogue to Rover: 「... 怎麼偏偏被你撿到... 」

If I were to translate this, it would be more along the lines of, "Tsk, It just has to be you out of everyone [to pick it up]"

This line was actually quite rude in Chinese. Even I was taken back. The usage of 'just has to be' really hits hard since it emphasis whatever was said and implied directly at the receiver. Pair it with her attitude, she comes off being insufferable.

The same dialogue in Global ver: "... Why does it have to be you..."

It lacks the weight of how the CN ver come across.

If Localised, "Of course it's you, couldn't be more better." in a sarcastic tone. ((This is the best I can come up with, if English speakers know a more appropriate phrase that holds the same meaning, please tell me. I really want to know.))

Also, I find the constant switch of Chixia's lines between some friendly/neutral moments, and straight insults/rude wordings are quite annoying and abusive at times.

Yeah, we get it you don't like Rover, we got the point. But, the extra rudeness felt unnesscary at some point in the story (Not that the story is well written in the first place anyway. It's beta.)

The fact that Rover just takes the abuse was just... 😬😬 annoying. Which, some CN players expresses that as well. The story didn't give Rover any agency at all. They didn't fight back or trying to prove their innocence or do anything about it. They just stay quiet, and does the next task people tell them to after being insulted.

I think a lot of people were fed up with this over all treatment of the Rover.

I am not saying there shouldn't be any rude characters. But I think there is a threshold as to how much abuse of the MC that the players can take in the story.

It's 3am, idk will this make sense, maybe not. But need to get this off my chest because of this constant animosity between global and CN in regards of story.

Might delete this.

Tldr; CN's critisms about the "Harsh" characters are not invalid. I believe there is a misunderstanding of the CN side of the critisms, as it is reduce to be "They only want harem waifu, that's why they can't handle characters being unfriendly."

I watched both CN and global versions of beta, just to really see what is going on. Turns out, there were a number of factors at play with the story telling, character dialogue and how the Global translation kinda lost the weight of the rude dialogue being thrown at Rover constantly.

It was a combination of these things that lead CN players feel dissatisfied by the story.

Thanks for listening to my Ted talk.

The Way of the Cloud Knife

The Way Of The Cloud Knife

Not beta read

Honkai: Star Rail x Reader

Jing Yuan x Reader

Summary:

You aren't part of the Cloud Knights, nor are you a martial artist.

Yet, The great General of the Cloud Knights, along with other greatly titles, Jing Yuan, took interest in your practice of the *Cloud Knife.

*Cloud Knife is a common tool used in Ear Cleaning (採耳) services.

His hand moved slowly towards the chess board. The holographic chess piece tapped on the surface of the intersecting lines, the relaxed smile never left Jing Yuan's face. Even, when he watched your expression turned, from a slight irritation, to a shock of surprise.

"General," he said.

The moment his chess piece landed inside the "citadel", you could only look up at him, still shocked, and said, "... You lied..."

You were right, he lied.

Jing Yuan, took a sip from his tea and chuckled.

"You said you will go easy on me." you spoke angrily.

"Perhaps, I did get carried away..." Jing Yuan simply replied. His gentle smile did not waver.

The general's carefree and nonchalant attitude triggered your initial gut feeling once more. You knew he was up to no good when he invited you for a game of Weiqi.

"You planned this all along," you accused," you said, you would go easy on me just to have me agree."

A chuckled left Jing Yuan's lips, "How else would you agree to come here?"

You scoffed at his words. Feeling a little embarassed how well the General fooled you.

You had been avoiding his invites for a while now. Whenever you recieve a message from him, it would usually end up in an utter embarrassment in a match of chess. And, whenever Jing Yuan wins, the general would leverage his victory in order to coax you for a 'favour'.

However, you convinced yourself that this time around it would be different. You had hope the General would actually let you easy on the game, as he promised.

"Needless to say, I won. Once, again," Jing Yuan smile. He lifted his hand and pointed his finger at his ear. Signalling you what he really wanted to ask you for.

You sighed. You knew where this was going.

Prompted, you reached for your bag to grab a rectangular box. Opening it, you took out a blunt tool. The Cloud Knife shone with the light, reflecting its long history within the Xianzhou's local culture; in terms of ear cleaning.

"Yanqing told me you developed new techniques of the Cloud Knife," Jing Yuan said, "I didn't know you are working on a new repertoire." he jokingly teased.

You could only rolled your eyes, internally, at Jing Yuan's teasing.

"I hope this won't take too much of my time, I still have work to do," You said.

"Of course," Jing Yuan replied. He smile never left, and it felt brighter when he looked at you.

Moving closer, Jing Yuan slowly laid down. Gently placing his head on your lap, his hair spread over your thighs, and it tickled your skin. Very gently, your fingers brush his locks away revealing his ear.

Taking the blunt knife, in a delicatly gentle fashion, you ran the blunt edge of the blade from the corner of Jing Yuan's forehead down to his mandible. His facade expression slipped at the sensation, althought it was only for a split second.

Next, you used the blunt tip of the knife to lightly pressed against the acupuncture points along the shell of his ear. Repeating the technique a few more times before switching up your stance, and you began to run the tip along the nooks and crannies of his ear.

Jing Yuan took a deep breath. You felt his body began to relax. It never ocurred to you how tense Jing Yuan was.

'There must be a lot on his mind,' you thought to yourself.

Running the blade through the channels of his ears, you brought the blade over to the outer shell. Gently running circles before pausing at the top. Your other hand gently held under it as you began scraping the shell.

Jung Yuan laid still with his eye closed. Enjoying the sensation of the cool piece of metal running along his ear. He paid attention to each of your movements, noticing how fluid you were wielding the knife. He knew you got better with the techniques because Yanqing would not stop talking about it.

You began to twirl the knife, rotating the blade as you ran it all over the surface. In that instance, Jing Yuan lifted his brows. With his eyes still closed, he let out a questioning hum, “this is new…” he commented with a smile.

The technique gave a new feeling to sensation, sending waves of pleasure and relaxation. The nerves and acupuncture points were lighting up like fireworks.

“Just experimenting…” you whispered back. After a few more runs with the Cloud Knife. Your hand pulled away gently placing the knife back into the box.

Using your thumb and index finger, your began to massage the side of Jing Yuan’s head. Occasional messaging the ear, leading them to flush more in colour. (As Bailu suggested, simulated blood rushes to the ear helps with hearing. Maybe the General needed it, after all doesn't he seem to listens to you very well.)

As your hand press and kneaded, you soon realised how fully relaxed Jing Yuan was. Laying limp on your lap, you watched as he had dozed off into a pleasant dream.

A chuckled left your lips. Indeed, the Jing Yuan lives up to his title, the Dozing General. The routine was over. Fingers brushing through Jing Yuan's fluffy locks, you fixed his hair before tapping on his shoulder, “We’re done, General.”

You expected him to open this eyes and get off. However, Jing Yuan did not budge. Instead, he remain asleep. You thought he was just teasing you and went to tap his shoulder again. This time a little harder.

“General,” you spoke in a calm manner, “It’s time to get up.”

“Hmmm,” Jing Yuan hummed, “Not bad…I can see why Yanqing likes to stop by your office.”

“It’s not good for your ears if you do this too often,” You lectured, “Now get up, I have to get back to work.”

“Do you really want to?” Jing Yuan questioned you with an innocent look. However, you couldn’t help but to feel he saw through you somehow.

“Of course, I still have a lot of work to do. If I haven’t come here to play chess with you, I would have been able to finish work a long time ago.” You said.

“And yet, you still accepted to come over,” Jing Yuan chuckled when he saw you let out a surprised expression. For a moment, your face flushed in colour while trying to think of an excuse, “I only agreed to come here because I thought I can win against you for once. It’s as simple as that, General.”

Jing Yuan let out a laugh at how flustered you become. It was certainly not easy to coax you to join him for a game. Even if the game last only for a minute or two, he enjoy having your company nevertheless.

“Shall we continue?” He pointed to his other ear, "Or do you want that to be determined by another game?"

Swallowing your embarrassment, you nodded taking the Cloud Knife once more.

In all honesty, this is the most cultural fic I've ever written, I wrote this while I got covid so... I just hope for the best.

Many people do not like taking overtime because of how taxing it could be. However, to you, overtime might be the thing you need to catch up with all the paperwork on your desk.

It was a few hours before midnight, you poured yourself a cup of water.

After filling up your cup, you exited the dark pantry. The base has officially entered the after hour mode, and your colleagues, almost everyone was nowhere to be found.

The corridor was dimly lit by the emergency lights as you walk pass door after door. Tonight was special. There is a Bonfire festival happening in the Central Plaza in Babylonia. Everyone went.

Even your contructs, Lucia, Lee and Liv attedned. The three even got you a ticket. Despite so, you declined their offer, and gave it to Kamui instead.

"There are more important matters to deal with right now," you told yourself, "Maybe next year..."

There was a feeling of regret for your decision, although you were use to it.

Sometimes, sacrifices has to be made.

Gazing down at the floor, you walk a little aimlessly. Your mind wandered about, thinking about all the unnesscary stressor around you.

Instinctively, you made your way back to the door of your room.

"Commandant of Grey Raven," a familiar voice spoke up.

You jolted out from your train of thought, and saw Chrome standing in front of you. Quickly, you turned to face him, and greeted him tiredly, "Oh, Chrome! Hello..."

"I thought you were going to the Bonfire Festival with your team,"Chrome said, "I know Kamui went."

“About that," you began, "Kamui went because I have him my ticket. I am too busy with work to attend. What about you? Why didn't you join the others?"

You question seems to caught Chrome off guard. If it weren't for the lights, the tint on his cheeks would have been more apparent. Embarassed and flustered by his situtation, Chrome could only give you the gist of his predicament.

"I was invited by 'Mr Smith' to attend the festival," he continued, “but I declined.”

You gave Chrome a nodded, gesturing you understood what he meant.

“I prefer using this time to do something else I find meaningful,” Chrome confessed. Now that he has calmed, his voice spoke in a stern tone.

"Like what?" You asked him. Your face showed genuine curiousity.

There was a moment of silence between them. The construct had a stern and indiffernt look on his face. Yet, with his hands behind his back, his fingers fidgeted with a small plastic container, as well as hiding the baking stains on his sleeves.

Chrome was a little speechless. For, there was something in his M. I. N. D that he want to say. But didn't have the courage to say.

"... I prefer to use this time to spend getting tomorrow's briefs and reports ready..."He gave you a model, yet, generic answer.

Hearing his answer, you nodded and gave a small smile, "I get it. When you are too busy, you just can't seem to find time to do something else." you said understandingly.

Before Chrome had the chance to reply, you beat him to it, and walked back into your room.

"Well, I'll see you around, have a good night," you said.

The automatic door closed as soon as you entered.

Chrome was left all alone. He could only watch you leave. He could not mutter a single word of protest. He really wanted to, but his sense of duty as a construct stopped him.

Fingers continued to play the plastic container. He finally took it out from his back, and looked at the small piece of cake. The whipped cream was starting to melt.

It was a planned gift for you. A small refreshment, hoping it could lead to something more.

Without a word, Chrome head back to his room. Throwing the cake away in the bin, as he walked along the corridor.

"Next time..." He said to himself.

This is a long time coming... I am so sorry to the person who requested this.

This fic with Chrome has been in my mind for a very long time. Like, when I first made this blog. I originally want to make it long because.....

But after a very long pondering, and covid :'), I decided less is more.

Hello, I would like to request a headcannon regarding Lee and F!Commander who often accidentally see and equate Lee with a cat because of their behavior. I have a cat at home that behaves similarly to Lee, when chased it gets scared but slowly gets closer on its own. So I want to know how Lee would react if he came across this situation. Thank you very much for your time, have a nice day.

Author’s Notes:

WWWWWWWW… Is it the one in your pfp?! AYe, your cat is so cute!

Yes, Lee is a cat, and nothing will convince me otherwise!

I Also Got A Cat At Home, His Name is Lee...

Hello, I Would Like To Request A Headcannon Regarding Lee And F!Commander Who Often Accidentally See

Pgr Lee Headcanons

"Awww, they're so cute~" You commented as a cat was resting with her kittens. Watanabe ignored your comment and continue to care for the family of cats.

Among the five kitten, one has caught your attention. It was small, yet it radiates an standoffish energy. Whenever Watanabe tried to coax or touch it, the little kitten fought back and hissed to scold.

"He's a grumpy one..." Watanabe sighed, "... Just like someone over there..." He motioned at Lee who was busying looking at his control panel.

Tags: Lee, headcanons.

Lee (Palefire/Entropy)

It started out small, Lee noticed that sometimes you would stare at him. He initially, personally, don’t mind.

However, the more you observed him, the more your construct feels a little uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable as in: "Why are you looking at me like that?" he bluntly asked.

"Hm? Me? Oh, it’s nothing..." you said.

Your excuses and denial was meet with Lee's skepticism and suspicion.

As time went on, Lee noticed, you seem to treat him a little differently. You seem to be more... Lenient...or...maybe a little too affectionate.

You gave him trinkets and gifts. Sometime, you (unconsciously) teased him with snacks. But, he would give them all to Kamui.

Your behaviour puzzled Lee greatly.

"You have been acting strange lately, What are you up to?", "Commdant, please, my inner device is not a toy. Stop touching them.", "You do know we construct do not require food to function. These snacks prove no use for me.", "Commandant, what are you doing?", "If you don't need my help, I should get going.", "Stop being so childish.".

At one point, he would get fed up and confront you straight up:

"What are you doing? You have been treating me a little different lately. What is going on." he said.

"... What do you mean?" You were a little anxious from him calling you out. You tried to deny it.

But Lee was able to pressure you to confess. Thus, you finally cracked under the pressure.

"I just want to be closer to you..." you confessed.

Lee crossed his arms. He seems to understand where you were coming from, in a sense.

"You don't have to worry about me, [y/n]. I am fully capable of taking care of myself... But if you want to worry about someone, it should be you, yourself."

"But, don't worry... I will always be there for you, be it on missions or in the base." Lee spoke with professional tone.

"I know, but...you're a bit too aloof.... You know, like a cat." you said.

Lee.exe. Stopped working for 2 seconds.

He didn't seem to happy with what you said. He fully disagrees, and asked why would you think of him that way.

You told him your encounter of a family of cats during your mission with the Forsaken.

Watanabe taught you about how to deal with cats, and you thought it would be a good idea to exercise it on Lee.

Lee gets a little embarassed. He was embarassed to know that you have been seeing him as a cat all this time. Yet, he never caught on.

He holes up in his room after that. It took him a while to come back out.

Once he's out, made sure to put a little more effort into group activites, hoping you won't equate him to a grumpy cat again.

The Stars Lead me to You...

The Stars Lead Me To You...

Genshin Impact fanfic Rewrite

🍁Kazuha x Lumine/Hotaru🍁

Summary:

Teyvat shifted as the earth shuffled, the wind sang, the water whistled, the birds frolicked, and the air was fragrant.

On this day, the world shifted and the galaxy of stars came together to made way. Telling Kazuha, that something awaits for him at the end of the starry path.

Tags: Fluff, one-shot, rewrite, traveller is Lumine, not reader-insert, Kazulumi, Qixi Festival.

The water glistened as the early morning arose. Liyue Habour was quiet the people were still asleep or, were just waking up.

In admist of tranquility, the Crux was busy up and running. Sailors pulled up the sails, the others mopped and clean the deck. Everyone was doing their part on the ship, all expect for Kazuha.

With his back leaning on the railings of the crow's nest, the Rouin, Kazuha Kaedehara, was simply enjoying the morning breeze. He chuckled before letting out a laugh.

The breeze spoke to him of nature's nonsense. They were a bit lively today.

"Oi, Kazuha!" a crew member called from below, "Do you mind giving me a hand?!"

The young samurai opened his eyes. He looked out to the glowing horizon before casting his eyes down, and jumped out of the crow's nest.

With the power of Anemo, Kazuha landed on the deck unscathed. He gave a nod to the crewmate, and proceed to help with moving the crates out of the sunlight.

As he stayed on deck, Kazuha noticed the atmosphere felt a little different. The crew seems to be, relatively, lively and cheerful. There was something in the air, and Kazuha couldn't really pinpoint what exactly it was.

"So... Is there something happening today? Everyone seems to be in a good mood." Kazuha asked as he carried another set of crates to the other side of the ship.

The crewmate answered with a loud voice, "Well, today is a special day, and Captain Beidou gave us the rest of the day off after morning preparations!"

Kazuha could tell the crewmate was enthusiastic about it.

"That's nice of Beidou..." Kazuha smiled.

The breeze blew by, and its whisper tickled the samurai's ears. It was muttering nonsense again.

"Yes, I can't want meet my sweetheart at the habour," the crewmate said,"It's been such a long time since I last saw her."

Tunning in to the people around, Kazuha listened to what the others were saying.

"I am looking forward to confess today!"

"I am going to attend a family's wedding. Today is a good day for that!"

"Do you think I would meet the One during the festival?"

Everyone seems to have that same giddy feeling.

As time went on, most of the crew had left the Crux for land. Kazuha was back on the crow's nest, by then, the breeze had became a little stronger.

Kazuha chuckled, "What is it you are trying to tell me?" he asked.

The waves began to rock the ship in response.

"Are you telling me to head to shore?" Kazuha asked. Nature was pushing him to go somewhere.

The waves swayed rocking the ship gently towards Liyue Habour.

"Where are you telling me to go?" Perhaps, you could show me a path?" Kazuha asked, facing the habour's direction.

He left the ship and made his way to Liyue Habour. As he walked pass the trees and the greenery, he noticed how everything seems to be a little different. The coincidental hints: the fruit fallen from trees were in pairs, the butterflies were flying around in pairs, the flowers and weeds intertwined with each other as if they were holding on together.

"hmm... Nature sure has it's way of things." Kazuha muttered to himself. As he reached to near the entrance of the harbour, the sky had already turned orange, and the sun begins to set.

The wind blew as the plates of the earth seems to shift. The young samurai felt it. It felt like today the world has shifted in a certain place.

Liyue Habour, Liyue Habour...

The nonsense of the wind repeated in his ears.

He continued his journey and stopped by the peak of the hill. The sky was in different shade of deep blue. The stars begin to come out. They slowy swirled into all sorts of patterns.

"They looks splendid tonight." Kazuha commented.

Night was befalling on the bustling Habour.

He could see the lights and lanterns lit up, and the decorations for, whatever festival was happening, were illuminated.

Feeling inspire, Kazuha thought of a tune. He took a piece of leave from the ground, and improvised a rhythm. He dedicated the song to the stars.

By the time he was done, he looked up the dark sky. He watched in awe as the stars, like mercury, began to merge and lit one single path in the sky.

Follow the path, and it will lead you.

He heard a whisper.

The universing was telling him something, and Kazuha accepted it's guidance and followed the path of stars.

It lead him into Liyue Habour. The streets were bustling with people. Couples, who professed their love and longing. Gifts, were gifted to show appreciation. Street vendors invented games to strengthen the bond between matched pairs. The children laughed as they frolick among the lovers.

Yet, Kazuha walked pass each and everyone, following the path that called for him, that was meant for him. He sees the end of the path, without heasitation, his legs moved faster, and soon he was running.

A smile drawn on his lips when he reached to the end. The end where he was destined to meet someone. Someone, he held to his heart.

"Hello, traveller..." He greeted.

Author's Notes :

A rewrite of an old fic.

I used to have a Genshin Fanfic account named, Komore Teahouse. This was a Fanfic I wrote for the Qixi Festival during that time. Kazuha is one of my favourite characters in the game, and I love how well his personality fits with the traveller.

Unfortunately, I have since deleted the Komore Teahouse blog (Where I get to Rp as the dog owner, I forgot his name). I won't go into too much detail as to why, but please don't expected me to write anymore Genshin fic. I will only post old ones, if I feel like it.

Hello. I'm sorry if this is sudden but I was wondering if you took story requests and if you do, could you make a platonic Dan heng IL story with the reader being the child of his previous incarnation and with the reader still being quite young and Jing Yuan is the one to tell Dan Heng about them even though he's only met them a couple and doesn't know them personally, but Jing Yuan felt like Dan Heng had the right to know about the reader especially after the reader had an encounter with Blade. (If this is too much or if you don't do requests that's completely understandable and I wish you a good day/afternoon and or night😊)

Author's Notes:

Hi, I haven't done the latest Trailblazer mission yet. But my stupid ass, low-key, accidentally spoiled myself with the whole thing about Blade :') . So, I guess I can give this a go.

Tbh, I am not a lore person when it comes to Hoyoverse. For me, it's too confusing and convoluted. I just pay attention to the details in the story and reread character lines over and over again to get their speech patterns.😅😅😅

I hope for the best.

Also…is this Dad!Dan Heng, or Creator!Dan Heng?

His Legacy…

Hello. I'm Sorry If This Is Sudden But I Was Wondering If You Took Story Requests And If You Do, Could

Dan Heng x Child!Reader (Ft. Jing Yuan & Bailu)

Summary:

Before Dan Heng leaves, he learns of your existence; his next of kin from his previous incarnate. Despite not harbouring much memories or parental familiarity, Dan Heng wants to see you one last time.

Tags: Lore (that I only know 10% about), platonic, parental relationship, request, one-shot, potential spoilers, possible ooc, canon divergent, request

It was a risk.

With every decision made, there’s always a risk. And, Jing Yuan knows that, by releasing the Stellaron Hunter; by the name of, “Blade”, was definitely a risk.

“General… are you sure we should do this?” Yanqing had expressed his concern, yet, for the General, Jing Yuan continued to execute his plan. Knowing, if everything is under control, the fruition will worth the risk.

Jing Yuan had given precaution to each step along the way. However, he never anticipated that the Stellaron Hunter would have other plans of his own.

___

“Who are you?”, you asked, looking at a man with a nonchalant, yet, troubled look.

Blade looked at you. The colours of his irises swirled. He didn't answer, as his dark presense towers over you.

Troubled, as if he was baring all the burden on his shoulders. Troubled, as if he held onto the anguish and hatred of the past. Troubled, as if he holding on to a thin line between ‘monster’ and ‘man’; of what is left of his sanity.

___

The guilt weighed on Jing Yuan when he had heard of your encounter with Blade. Were the precautions not enough? We're his predictions not good enough?

The General recalled, how the Master Diviner had given him a warning, prior, to the operation.

“Was it worth, to put so much risk to simply catch the Stellaron Hunter, Kafka?” Fu Xuan asked, she made her disapproval as clear as day.

"Nothing can escape destiny and fate..." Fu Xuan's voice rang in Jing Yuan's ears.

Maybe, despite all the precaution that were made, your encounter with Blade was inevitable. And, maybe it was also fate that brought Dan Heng back to Luofu.

“Dan Feng…” Jing Yuan began, “I see that you have finally returned to Luofu.”

“Dan Feng?” Dan Heng questioned, amused by how Jing Yuan called him by his previous name, “I don’t go by that name anymore… everything is in the past, I see no need to look back.”

Hearing what Dan Heng had said, brought a frown on Jing Yuan’s face. However, the General nodded. He accepted the fact; what had happen centuries ago was of a tragic demise. Done, out of the succumb of “immortality”.

___

“You’re hurt…” you said, trying to grab the man’s bandaged hand, “Lady Bailu can help you.” You offered.

Before you could wrap your tiny fingers around Blade’s hand, he immediately pushed you away. His eyes stared with intensity, seemingly glowing at the sight of his target. His chest heaved, as he felt his throat tensed up at the bubbling emotions of anger emerging.

Looking at the small child getting up from the ground, Blade fixated his gaze on you, as if he was planning to strike his next move. His grip held onto his sword tightly.

___

“Indeed, the past is the past, but…” Jing Yuan said, “ the legacy of your former self, will continue over the centuries to come, Dan Heng.”

He hinted something to Dan Heng.

“Whether you, like it or not…” Jing Yuan added.

Dan Heng’s foot step paused. There was a small weight in his heart. Was it something he did, when he was still Dan Feng? He turned around to look at Jing Yuan, the memories swirled in Dan Heng’s mind, trying to comprehend the muddled and missing pieces of the image of you. An sleeping child, hibernating until it was time for you to be awaken from your birth.

“… [Y/N]…?” He spoke of your name.

___

He lifted his arm up, the cracks on his sword glowed, as he looked down at you with an intense gaze. At that moment, Blade had felt he had snapped. He wasn’t a “man”, but a “monster” blinded my his emotions.

The animalistic growl grumbled from his throat, the anticipation of spilling crimson right before his eyes when he brings his arm down. Yet, his arm remain frozen. Your cries began to alert the guards of Bailu’s estate.

Blade struggled against his mind. Your childish cries was giving him a headache. “…Just…a…small…child…” He mumbled to himself.

“Who’s there?” The guards came running to your direction, “It’s him! The Stellaron Hunter! Quick, alert Lady Bailu!”

“Tsk..”Blade clicked his tongue. Without a word, he fled.

___

“[Y/N].” Dan Heng said.

You looked up at him. Your creator, that you never knew.

Without saying anything, you handed him a cup of tea, before returning to Bailu’s side. Warm light illuminated the living room of Bailu’s house.

“Do you know how tiring it is to look after this child, General?” she complained, “how long will you be keeping this child with me?”

Jing Yuan chuckled, “I understand, Lady Bailu. You have ‘just’ been through a rebirth, and I am certain that having a child under your care while still being…quite young…is tiresome.” The general took a sip of the tea, avoiding certain words, “But, please bare with this arrangement for a little longer. Until the time is right, you will be free of such services.”

Bailu was a little surprised, “W-wait!? What does that mean?!”

“Why do you sound like I want to get rid of this child?” Bailu accused.

”Oh?” Jing Yuan held a surprised look, “Was that not what you ask for?”

“I mean…yes, it will be less of a burden to have this child under my care... But, I have taught a few things about medicine to this child…” the dragon girl said, thinking of a excuse, “…so it will be a loss of my effort if the child leaves so soon. How are you going to compensate that?! ” She crossed her arms.

Dan Heng continued to look at you. You were at a corner playing by yourself. The way you look, the expression and features, were a reflection of him. Dan Feng, your creator, your father.

He let out a heavy sigh. There was a part of him, that wants to engage with you. There were so many things he wanted to say, to do, and to ask of you. Yet, the lack of familiarity and parental feelings for you, made him hesitate.

“…well, it will be quite some time before further arrangements can be made on the child’s welfare…” Jing Yuan grabbed his chin, a mock gesture to convince Bailu to fall through his plan.

“As I thought, General,” Bailu scoffed, “Now, if you are not asking for prescriptions or diagnosis, leave.”

“Yes, of course. Are you alright with that?” Jing Yuan looked at Dan Heng, who’s eyes were fixed on you.

He snapped out of it and replied, “…Yes, I am ready to go. The Astral Express will be leaving soon.”

“We’ll see you both out… [Y/N], the guest are leaving.” Bailu hopped off her chair. She gently took your hand and walked Jing Yuan and Dan Heng to the door.

Both men looked back as they walked out. Dan Heng gave you one last look. You were waving goodbye at him. With Bailu, the Elder High of the Vidyadhara, as your guardian. He knew you are in good hands.

The front gates closed. The image of you disappeared behind the structure with along with Bailu.

That was the last time, Dan Heng saw of you.

Genshin Impact fanfic rewrite

❄️Chong Yun and Zhongli🌠

Summary :

Having sense a presence at the Wang Sheng funeral parlour, Chong Yun was determined to excorise the the spirit residing there. Yet what he didn't expect, was facing something dark and sinster.

Tags: Platonic, mention and cameos of other characters, cultural references, Traveler is Lumine, rewrite, wip of some sorts that will never be finished

"... Errrr... Maybe you want to speak with Director Hutao?"

The receptionist wore an awkward expression. Standing by the doorway, Chong Yun, the young exorcist held a mildly confused expression when the receptionist mentions Hutao.

Seeing it was a situtation where he had embarrassed himself in someway, Chong Yun quickly spoke up," oh no, no! I am not here for funerary business," he swayed bashfully, " it's just... I received intel about spirits haunting within this area."

The receptionist gave a skeptical nod.

"And, you are...?", She asked.

The reception area was once again shrouded with an awkward silence. Chong Yun sighed. He began to wonder if this situation was just like the "Test of Courage" at Wu huang Hill, or that, the intel that Xingqiu gave him was a nothing, but a joke.

Despite so, his gut instinct was twisting and aching for him to continue on the investigation. His sixth sense, an inheritance that is so proudly pass down among generations, gave him a stubborn determination to investigate this place. The feeling was firing up his spirit, but he told himself to calm down.

"Oh, I am an exorcist, Madame, so rest assure," he replied. Hoping the woman would consider letting him through.

"I am sorry but, if you want to speak with Director Hutao, you need to make an appointment, also, please stop saying things that could scare the customers away."

"but…," Chong Yun protested, he felt his yang energy was simmering, "but there's a presence here! I can feel it. I promise it's not going to take too long. Once I exorcise the-"

"I am sorry. Look, if you don't leave, we might have to call the Milileth to escort you." the woman explained. She was getting a little impatient.

"But...but..."

"Please, you are going to scare our clients away with all the ghost talk," the receptionist said, and tried to usher Chong Yun out of the Funeral parlor.

The commotion drew attention to the reception, a sudden deep voice spoke behind the counter.

"Is there a problem here?"

Both Chong Yun and the receptionist turned their head, and saw Zhongli standing with his arms folded.

"Mister Zhongli!" the receptionist greeted, and said, "this young man kept on insisting that there is a ghost or evil spirit in the parlor. I tried escort him away but-"

"A ghost you say...?" Zhongli interrupted and was in deep thought. He looked at Chong Yun, raising a brow he asked, "And, you are...?"

"I am an exorcist. I have gathered intel that your funeral parlour has sightings of ghost, abnormal occurrences , and many more. If I may, I can ease these place, after that I will be on my way. That's all I ask." Chong Yun piped up. He hoped his speech was sincere enough for Zhongli to consider the proposal.

The young lad had heard about Zhongli before, but it was just a name that was brought up by a few. All he knew about the man in front of him was, he likes talking about rocks (minerals) and some times, treat the Traveller and her companion at the nearby Kisok.

"Hmmm…you are an interesting young man. I can sense that you are no ordinary guest. Your energy seems to be rather...powerful," Zhongli said.

For this older gentlemen to take notice of his energy, Chong Yun took note to pay more attention about the Consultant. Certainly, Chong Yun can feel Zhong Li isn't a simple man as he seems.

His knowledge about almost everything in Liyue is something to be awed at. How can a simple man gained so much knowledge than an expert who would spend years of their lifetime studying one field.

However, the young exorcist knows better to make rather rude judgements, especially about somebody such as Zhongli.

"Now if you would please leave?" the receptionist said, gesturing towards the huge double doors.

"Actually...", Zhongli cutted her off, "I think we do have something for the exorcist."

The receptionists had a huge look of surprise, she looked at Zhongli, "Mister Zhongli, you don't mean..."

"This is a funeral parlour after all. Don't take it to heart about it. It would be nice to have someone around to make sure things don't get around once in a while. Quite like a pest exterminator, I suppose.” Zhongli said.

The woman, gave a mixed look, but her emotions soon calmed and finally gave a nod." I guess, you are right, Mister Zhongli. I shall leave this matter to you then," she gave a small bow and exited the parlour for some fresh air.

"Now," Zhongli spoke with a rather brighter tone, "may I know of your name, and perhaps a bit of your back ground?"

Chong Yun stood up straight, facing the much taller man he gave a greeting bow and said, "The name's Chong Yun. My family have been protecting Liyue from evil spirits and demons for generations, so I do know a fair share of demon expelling knowledge... Also, I don't charge exterminating fees."

Zhongli raised a brow at the latter sentence. He gave a small hum and nodded. It was interesting indeed, and rare to know there are still people in Liyue who doesn’t talk about Mora.

"Very well, please come this way, " the consultant offered.

Chong Yun eagerly followed as they both pass by each funeral hall. Some were decorated, waiting for the client to arrive. Some were empty and just like the one that Zhongli escorted Chong Yun, the Funeral hall was lay bare with. However, it smelled.

It doesn't smell unpleasant, but rather, a strong presence of insence lingered in the hall. As Chong Yun would have guess, the hall has been recently used to hail a funeral.

Zhongli stood by the doorway and, "This is the funeral hall that seems to be the place you wish to inspect."

Chong Yun walked into the hall. His sixth senses were alert, as he felt a tingling sensation tickling down his arm. Looking around, he has yet to see the ghost's presences. He began to wonder if his Yang energy had already ward it off. However, he still felt the lingering presence of it.

The young exorcist looked around, he turned to doorway. That’s when he saw a apparition.

"...Spirit Blade!" Chong Yun, with the power of Cryo, summoned his spirit blades to anchor down the spirit that suddenly appeared in the door way. However it seems by the split second, the ghostly being escaped just in time. It flew towards Chong Yun, it's arms reached out and pushed him down on the floor before vanishing through thin air. Its shilled scream rang though Chong Yun’s ears.

Zhongli witnessed everything, and went towards the young exorcist to help. The pain of Chong Yun's backside throbbed as he slowly got up with Zhongli's aid.

Chong Yun could never believe a spirit could actually, physically, push him down to the ground, hard. He place a hand on his chest, the part where the spirit had touched him, it burns.

"Young exorcist, are you alright?" Zhongli asked.

However, Chong Yun hissed at the burn on his chest and replied, "I... think that... it just burned me...this is bad..." he can feel his Yang energy surging up from heat of the burn. His head began to spin and soon passed out.

*************

The dreadful sound of rocks gnawing at each other, annoyed him to no end. Slowly, Chong Yun opened his eyes. Blinking, he tried to register where he was. A sudden deep voice spoke by his said, "ah, young exorcist, you’re awake."

Chong Yun turned his head, and saw Zhongli sitting on the visitor seat while having a cup of tea. Quickly, the youth sprang up, he finally remember what had happened, and said, "I apologise!" and bowed his head. Apologising for his failure, to capture the spirit.

Zhongli only chuckle and said, "not to worry, young exorcist, I should be the one to apologise. I have never thought the spirit would have such power to knock you out."

Chong Yun sighed, he felt a little disappointed by the incident.

He looked down and saw that there were burns on his chest. There were two faint hand prints on his chest, and the recollection flashed into his mind again. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

QiQi entered, and in her monotone voice she said, "QiQi has medicine... For the burns..."

"Ah, QiQi, thank you for your hard work," Zhongli said as the little girl place the tray of medicine on the bed and climbed her way up. She had crushed the herbs and mint into paste and applied them on Chong Yun's chest before stuffing in the dried Mist Flower petals. She then wrapped gaze around Chong Yun's chest and continued, "keep this on for 24 hours and don't get it wet."

"24 hours?! Does it take that long to heal a burn?" Chong Yun exclaimed.

"These are no ordinary burns, you must understand, young exorcist," Zhongli placed his cup down as QiQi climbed back down and exited the room.

Zhongli stood up and said, "this spirit is no ordinary ghost. If it were to be an ordinary ghost that refuse to move on, then the Wang Sheng Funaral parlour would have a scandal on their hands. And, that child- I mean Director Hutao, would have used all that is necessary to help the lost soul find its way to the next life... Though, unfortunately she's currently away for other matters..." Zhongli gave an unsatisfied grumbled at the last sentence.

"Our next best option was to get an exorcist for help. Although, I never how this one is able to be this powerful."

"Do you know what that spirit is?" Chong Yun asked. He looked at the Funeral consultant. There was something in Zhongli's eyes that told Chong Yun, the man sitting before him is much more informed than anyone would imagine. In fact, too informed.

Zhongli gave it a good thought before facing the young exorcist, and said, "Though, I have a general idea what that spirit is, I am no better to deal with it than an exorcist such as yourself. My guess could only be that the spirit was cursed, or it habours too much wraith, and it simply could not move on."

Analysing what Zhongli had said, the young exorcist recalled the notes and books he had study in the past. He was sure that the old masters and his family had taught him about those spirits before.

Though, he lacks the experience, he wanted to give it a go. It would be too shameful to call himself an exorcist and to turn down a case. If anything, unlike the vigilant Yashka, whose methods were to use brutal force to eleveate the evil, Chong Yun knew his duty, and his family's duty, is to eleveate the evil through the most humanitarian way. Both swift and merciful, to purge the darkest core, purifying the evil and suffering so balance can be retained.

Zhongli waited for Chong Yun's answer. He watched as the yound lad went to grab his shirt and put it on. From his satchel, Chong Yun took out his icicle. He felt his determination was bubbling and he need to surpress his passion.

"Mister Zhongli, may I come back to the parlour tomorrow?"

(To be Continue...)

---------------------------------------------------

Author's notes:

This story has been on my mind since the beginning of time. I was inspired by my co-opt gameplay with my sister. Whenever we beat the geo hypostasis, I would use Chong Yun, and she uses Zhongli.

Almost made it to the Komore tea house but never seen the day of light.

The Corruption Starts Within...

The Corruption Starts Within...

The Corruption Au

Pgr Headcanons and Concept

An idea I always have since I started playing this game. I always wonder, what if data chips like Koya are corrupted, as in file corruption, making them unstable, and dangerous to use.

Tag: Au, interpretation of the lore, data chip character(s), concept, mostly about Koya

As we all know, the data chips are memory/battle data from past constructs.

It seems (don't quote me on this), that the data of the chips are sentient to some extent, and are willing to help our constructs in sharing their battle data.

What if there are a few Data chips that are not so willing or friendly?

Koya's memory data is deemed unstable.

The instability was likely due to the damage of his inner device as he (Koya) tried to make a recall while he was ultimately ripped to shreds.

The incomplete/interruption of recall would corrupt file. Amosiv and his team would have to decipher and save the memory data that managed to survive.

I would imagine that Koya's data pysche would be very different from his usual self as well. Like, he wouldn't want to talk to anybody, or refuse to give people an answer.

Holding rage and bitterness about what had happened, as he likely only retained memories of that incident.

And, because of this, constructs who would uses Koya's Data chip would experience mania.

Because the memory data is unstable and corrupted, I think Koya can somewhat influence, or even control the hosting construct, by the data infiltrating the M. I. N. D.

In other words, Koya can either mind control, or take over the hosting contruct's body.

You can see your constructs starting to act a little weird, or a bit out of character because of it.

To be continued?

Hello, I want to ask for a headcannon regarding how Liv and Chrome deal with my condition, a person who is picky about eating vegetables and fruit. Are they going to advise me or what? Because I was really picky and often refused to eat some food if it's contain things like eggplant, papaya and so on, end up having stomachache.

Thank you very much.

Operation: E.Y.G....

Hello, I Want To Ask For A Headcannon Regarding How Liv And Chrome Deal With My Condition, A Person Who

Pgr Chrome + Liv Head canons

Tags: Fluff, headcanons

You have a bad habit, and you know it. Yet, it never bothered you. Finishing your meal, you got up from your seat in the cafeteria. With the food tray in your hands, you walked up to the utensil collection station; not knowing, there were a pair of eyes looking at you, as you returned your food tray, still, with untouched greens on it...

Liv (Benediction)

Your pickiness is driving her into a frantically frenzy.

She would first tell you about your bad habit of being picky with your vegetable.

You promised her to change.

Until, Liv walked into the cafeteria one day, and saw your vegetables on your plate, untouched.

She gets upset, "C-Commandant! Did you hear what I said a week ago?!"

In reality, you never put what she said about eating your greens at heart. You forgot about it completely.

Ever since, Liv would make extra effort to give you reminders to eat your greens.

"Commandant, don't forget to eat this at least [insert healthy amount] of fibre." she said.

Her tone is never harsh or mean. More so, her tone is soft, but firm.

Sometimes, she would watch you eat, and will not leave until you finishes everything in the plate.

Usually, she won't take such extreme measures, but she couldn't gurantee that you would stick to your promise.

Besides, it's nice to break out of a bad habit.

Chrome (Archlight)

One day, Chrome was looking for you. He heard you were at the cafeteria, hence he went, and saw you eating by yourself.

He walked up to you to ask a series of questions and other mission related things. Only to constantly get distracted by the untouched greens on your plate.

Once the conversation ended, Chrome watched, as you threw away the greens and place the food tray at the collection station.

It bugged him to some extent, yet, he refrains from voicing his opinion, as he believed it was none of his business.

However, the notions of, "A good Commandant, is a healthy Commandant", was something Chrome also firmly believes.

He can't risk to have a mission go wrong if you weren't in the fittest condition.

Unlike Liv, he would, somehow, coax you you increase your intake of fibre and leafy greens.

Such as, randomly put out facts about the benefits of eating vegetables. Or, he would suggest you taking supplements under the guise of, "I heard they help improve your immune system and organ function."

You never caught on. Yet, you never really gave in.

It's not a must for Chrome to get you to stay healthy as with Liv, however if it does impact your health in a huge way, he will not be on standby.

Thoughts on the Latest Archon Quest...

Aka why Neuvillette is the best boy, a stan's Essay...

Thoughts On The Latest Archon Quest...

⚠️MAJOR SPOILERS FOR ARCHON QUESTS AND STORY QUESTS⚠️

>>>TDLR at the end

Tags: Rambling, long post, not really an essay, but just want to say a few things, idk will this make sense, I can't write essays this just a word vomit.

Please note that this is just MY opinion. I am not here to slander, theory craft, or be in an argument. I just want to give my two cents and thoughts about this game and the story.

══════════════════

I have recently got back to Genshin mainly due to Furina. I actually like everything about her, from her colours to her characterisation. The lastest Archon Quest solidifies her as one of my favourite Genshin characters.

Firstly, I want to talk about Fontaine's plotline as a whole, how everything ties up together on the end. Then, why I find Neuvillette such an endearing character through out the arc.

Previously, after going through Sumeru's Archon Quest, which; I find it more enjoyable and better written than Inazuma's arc, I had expressed my concerns regarding the AQ's plotlines in the Hoyo survey.

This concern feels a bit silly to type it out now after the fact, but during that time, at least to me, it felt like a main concern.

The main concern was about the over all theme of AQs: the people vs Archon. I fear that it would be overly used and recycled. That, it might get predictable, and what's the point of me continuing the quest if the story is basically, help people accept the archon, or help the archon accept the people.

In otherwords, if each nation has a unique crisis of their own, I personally would find it more engaging to continue and see.

In general, Fontaine did not disappoint.

Firstly, I want to say, I enjoy watching Tartaglia getting yeeted. Lol.

Thoughts On The Latest Archon Quest...

As for the story, I think the pacing improved, although there are still some areas in the story that I think could be better. For instance the Fotress of Meropide arc, and the Spina arc. But, I think it has improved in terms of linking the events and foreshadowing something bigger for the grand finale at the last act.

Not to mention, the AQ seems to finally address, or acknowledge the anomlies of Teyvat, like the Descenders, Skirk, and a bit about Celestia.

It's not a lot, but enough for me to be satisfy. Because, in the past, these lore bits are just crumbs. And, now it feels like the actual agency/story is moving forward to something.

As for the story itself, I like the concept of the prophecy. For some reason, it reminds me of Noah's Ark with the flooding, punishment, and the flying ship in Meropide.

The prophecy aspect feels unique. Paired it with Furina, the archon who we all perceive as a stereotypical Marie-Antoinette-quese, and dramatic personality, to be incompetent in the time of crisis. I was at the edge of my seat to see how can she solve this problem.

Thoughts On The Latest Archon Quest...

People might say, "Well, the traveller is going to help her, of course!" which brings me to my next point.

For once, the traveller feels powerless. A stark contrast to the usual, "Only the traveller can do this.", or "The traveller is so strong they can bring an end to this.", and I think this makes the stakes higher, more exciting.

Heck, most of the cut scenes show how the casts were the ones who take initiative to solve problems. Like, Clorinde and Wriothesley at Meropide, or Navia saving the traveller when the clockwork meka went haywire.

Overall the story felt like a roller coaster of emotions, packed with tension, mystery, and drama. The last act was just so bittersweet for me.

I love the moments between Focalor and Neuvillette. I think it kind of shows how much connection they both had through out those 400 years.

Thoughts On The Latest Archon Quest...

Also, Focalor is really pretty!!!!??? Like, can this be a skin option?!

Thoughts On The Latest Archon Quest...

In regards to Neuvillette, I am not here to do an expert character analysis, but to kind of just tell you how I interpret Neuvillette's character, and in what aspect did I enjoy him the most in the role of the story.

Do note that I play in the Japanese voice over, so the characterisation and interpretation is different than the English voice over.

Thoughts On The Latest Archon Quest...

What I like the most about Neuvillette might be the fact, how simple his character is. If I were to boil down Neuvillette's core character it would simply be: benevolent.

His character is of a benevolent Hydro Dragon (I don't know can this statement be use to describe to his past self.) Not only to Melsuines, or to other people in general, but I also think it is how he sees the world.

Such as, his relationship with Furina, I actually think he's being very patient with her (Save for the trial, because everyone was desperate at that point). The time when he was ask how he would 'hunt' his 'prey', Neuvillette states he would use the most gentlest way as possible. Visiting Callas's grave after being confronted by Navia. Heck, this guy even goes out of his way to make the small talk just to not let Paimon feel awkward.

Despite how simple his characterisation is, it is also complex in a sense. In his SQ, we get to see how Neuvillette has his own concerns and issues settling in Fontaine. And, it is not soley his benevolence that is causing him the issue, rather, it was the circumstances that happened in the past, and how he interpreted the whole situtation and it's aftermath. I think the SQ did a good job in showing how complex he can get, if given the right conflict and situtation. *cough cough* we will not talk about a certain SQ *cough*

Thoughts On The Latest Archon Quest...

I think the narration for his SQ did a good job in focusing on Neuvillette as a character, and the emotional side of him. I might be a little empathetic, with the cut scene and the information we learned, I was able to connect with Neuvillette emotionally by how well the cut scene wrapped up the story. I felt the melancholy and bittersweetness.

Whereas for Wriothesley's SQ, just to compare, it was interesting to say the least. But, I couldn't connect with him in an emotional level as I did with Neuvillette. And, I think if the Devs could just show a bit more vulnerability of Wriothesley's character (his past is the most interesting part about him.) it would be a better connection with the character, instead of info dumping about his past in the most anti-climatic way.

Thoughts On The Latest Archon Quest...

I actually really enjoy Neuvillette's and Furina's relationship. As I said before, I find Neuvillette being extremely patient with Furina with her antics, despite he sometimes make comments on how she handle things, I still think he holds Furina close (Not in shipping way), after all it was her that gave him a place in Fontaine.

The part where Neuvillette finally meets Focalor, and knowing what was being set in stone; Neuvillette will regain all his original powers to end the crisis, and Focalor getting guillotined to get rid of the heaven principle's influence on Fontaine (I think Focalor is the only one, by far, was able to actually spite Celestia). That scene, I find, moving, and it really shook me, especially when Neuvillette made this expression:

Thoughts On The Latest Archon Quest...

He might not be the most expressive character, but...gosh that expression conveys so much of his emotions.

My interpretations is: I don't think Neuvillette wanted Focalor to sacrifice herself, and felt there could be another way. There are so many things he wanted to say to her, and to even ask her.

But alas, he never got a chance to before Focalor was guillotined.

The more I write about this particular scene, the more questions and new possible interpretation comes to mind:

Why did Neuvillette feel upset when Focalor executed herself? If, essentially, she's a different "person" to Furina. Could this mean, regardless of Focalor and Furina, he still sees them both as one entity?

Who, or what, is he grieving (I interpret him as griefing in the admist of powering up) for? Was he grieving because he felt sympathy for what Furina and Focalor had to do?

Thoughts On The Latest Archon Quest...

To be honest, I don't know, so I can't conclude an opinion. Maybe when he got a second act to his SQ, it could provide more insight for me to have an opinion.

But for now, I believe everything Neuvillette does comes from a good place in his heart even if it doesn't seem like it at the beginning. He could have got his power up and simply reclaim Fontaine and not care about the people, like Apep, but he didn't and chose to fillful Focalor's wishes. Even so, he still worries about Furina's well being after the fact.

After all that has been said of my impression of Neuvillette, I find his benevolence, and his lack of conventional human expression very endearing. I also enjoy how we began to gradually see him become more expressive. I enjoyed his relationship with Furina because they are kinda like a set, in my opinion, like a dynamic duo type of characters.

That being said, I hope the devs can continue with their good work, and I am excited to see what the Teyvat journey ahead would be like.

>>>

TLDR: Teyvat's Fontaine arc is nicely written. It has showcase improvements in regards of the overall story telling of the Archon Quests, such as pacing, flow, and themes. Although, there were a few parts of the story that I feel could have been done better.

It's nice that the story also finally addressed the anomalies of the Teyvat world (as they play a much bigger part), thus giving more information to the lore, and help to bring agency back to the main story.

In my opinion, Neuvillette is a greatly written character, and I enjoy his character throughout the Archon Quests. In my character study/writing perspective, Neuvillette's characteration, I find, is very interesting, and I couldn't wait to see more of his character in the future.

Thank you for reading of you made it this far!

[Repost] The Rite Of Partings

🐳Tartaglia x Lumine🐳

Summary:

On the Eve of Lantern Rite, Childe had finished his dispatch in Liyue. A year has passed, and he can finally go home, yet, a part of him still reminisce his time in Liyue.

Tags: not a reader insert, Lumine is the traveller, chilumi, fluff, edited, reposting

“Master Childe, all preparations are ready to board, ” Ekerinka said. With a clipboard in hand, she went over the list once again to make sure everything had been packed, sealed and ready to go.

Childe stood by the lobby of Northland Bank looking at the big four walls. He began to reminisce about the time he had spent working in this place. Liyue is very different compared to Snezhnaya, despite he wasn’t all that keen to be dispatched in Liyue in the first place; there was a sudden sadness of longing in his heart.

He will miss this place. The place where danger and actions lurk at every corner.

It was fun, and Childe made sure to have all the fun he wants before he departs this city for good.

“Master Childe?” Ekerinka asked, once more.

“Yes?” Childe replied without looking back at his subordinate.

"Are there anything else you wish to add to your packing list?” She asked, pen ready in her hand.

Childe gave a hum and shrugged. He didn’t really have much to pack, other than the trophies the won from fights, as well as souvenirs for his siblings. Besides that, there really wasn’t much as Ekerinka insisted otherwise.

“Nothing, I don’t have anything more to bring back,” Childe replied. He turned to leave the building for some fresh air; inhaling the scent of the harbour once more before departing tonight.

“Are you sure, Master Childe? Others have requested a lot more items to bring back to the Snezhnaya. Although we do have a space limit on the ship, if you don’t have additional cargo, then I will allocate your space quota to the others.” Ekerinka stated.

However, as she finished her sentence, Childe had already opened the door and left. Fresh air filled his lungs as he wandered through the streets. The Harbour looked quite different from usual, as the members of the Qixing were busy making preparations for this year’s Lantern Rite.

Childe had remembered his first Lantern Rite. The atmosphere was certainly festive and he will admit it was nice to see all the lanterns and decorations, however, he didn’t think it fit into his definition of fun.

During his first year, he was busy collecting debt and finishing his work to even participate, which, he told himself there is always going to be next year. Next year he will be able to see what the festival is all about. Now here he is, a year past and he’s leaving on the night of the festival.

He chuckled on that thought. Such a shame.

Maybe he should have bought a kamera to capture the moments, a little something to show the little ones back home. However, Childe shook his head against the idea. It’s never a good idea to buy imported gadgets in Liyue. They mark up the prices way too high than the original price tag.

Walking along the docks, he watches as people and children make lanterns in all different shapes and sizes. The Moon Craver Lantern was impressive, it stood with grace and strength at the centre, as if he was looking over Liyue.

For a moment, Childe thought he was lost in the atmosphere, only to be broken off when he saw a Snezhnayan ship docked by the port. The small smirk faded.

He will miss Liyue. He will miss the buzziling and loud merchants of the city. He ought to ask Zhongli to spar, however, everytime Childe went to the funeral parlor, Zhongli was almost never there. It was until the reception told the Harbinger that Zhongli was away, the young man finally gave up. He will admit that it doesn’t feel all too good to leave past grudges unresolved.

He walked along the streets, having heard Paimon in the background talking to food vendors and commissioners from the Qixing, Childe couldn’t help but play a small game of finding the Traveler amongst the busy crowd. This game has became a small habit of his.

Lumine.

He will miss Lumine. Not soley for her unique skills, but also the adventure she could go on. To cross mountains and oceans of the unknown is sure alluring to the young Harbinger. This brought a rather conflicted feeling in his chest. Should he be loyal to Tsarista having to be blessed by her majesty and as a duty of a Harbinger? Or, should he abandon his post and just travel with Lumine and jump into the dangerous unknown where his heart desires the most?

His heart fluttered for a moment, before shaking his head to clear the conflicted clouded thoughts. He remembers his ultimate goal since he joined the Fatui, to be the strongest person in the whole of Teyvat, even stronger than the Archons themselves. At that thought alone, he made up his mind.

Thus, he gave the Blonde hair traveler one last look and turned away. Childe was sure they would both meet again. She made a pinky promise to Teucer, and unresolved grudges back in the Golden House need to be resolved, after all.

On the night of departing, Childe looked out to the port from the deck. He already had his coat ready. The sea out back to Snezhnaya will be a frosty one, but he welcomes it. He misses his family, and though, he will leave Liyue, his heart will always think about the exciting things he saw and engaged during his stay. Liyue was nice, but nothing beats having his family bavk in Snezhaya.

The ship’s engine began to rumble and slowly, it floated further and further away from the docks. Ekerina and the other’s from Northlandbank waved their goodbyes at the port.

As the orange lanterns ascended towards the sky one by one, illuminating Liyue was a beautiful yellow gold. It was certainly a sight to behold. Childe wished he had bought a kamera.

As the lanterns floated towards the sky, some followed the sea wind and blew towards the ship, as one lantern came towards Childe, he gently took it and observed the handiwork. Chuckling as the thought of such activity to be cute. He had heard it was customary to write one’s wishes onto the lantern before letting it fly. Growing a little curious, he thought it wouldn’t hurt to take a little peek at this stranger’s wish.

Carefully he turned towards the writing, and read it.

Letting a laugh, Childe shook his head and with care, he pushed the lantern up, letting it float higher and higher into the air. He watched as it joined the rest.

In a small voice he said, “I hope your wish will comes true, Comrade.”

“I wish I could share this moments with Aether”

NOTE:

Hello! Long time no see! I am not dead!

I am a little surprised to see people are still reading my stuff and liking it. I want to say to you all, thank you so much!

I know I have been gone for a long while, and I haven't been posting much fanfics and writing. I want to be honest about it, and that my life has been getting hard as of late, be it with family and my irl job. Stress has been eatting up my creativity and motivation for a long while now, so writing and playing games has been put at the back burner for the time being.

I want to say, thank you for the people who still have faith in me, and still support my work. It warms my heart and I am very grateful.

As of now, I am not sure how I would go about posting. One thing for sure is that I won't be consistent. I will also do my part to look for prompts and inspirations to get my creativity gears going.

Thank you for understanding, and thank you for all the support!

Your residential Lee simp,

-Punishing Eden
