My name is Mohamed Saqr, and just a short time ago, my family and I were living a life full of hope and stability in Gaza. We had worked hard for everything we had – multiple homes, a farm, and several successful businesses. Life was good, and we were building a future for ourselves. My brother, 24, recently married, and we were both proud of the lives we had built. But all of that changed in a heartbeat when the war began on October 7th.
this is my brother, Motaz Saqr, who had to undergo surgery in his stomach due to the pollution we are exposed to daily.
This is my house, before and after, im newly married and this was the house we were supposed to live in but the war happened and it turned into rubble since the war.
Since that day, everything we knew has been taken away from us. We were forced to flee our homes, leaving behind everything we had worked for. We lost our homes, our farm, and our businesses. Now, my family and I are constantly on the move, trying to find safety and shelter wherever we can. The fear we live with every day is unimaginable. We move from one camp to another, never knowing when or where the next attack might come. My brother’s children cry every night, scared of the loud explosions that seem to be getting closer with each passing day.
This is my brother’a daughter, this is the condition we are living in during the war.
Every day is a struggle just to survive. Food, water, and medicine are scarce, and we never know if the next meal will come. My wife, my brother, his wife, and their children are doing everything we can to stay strong, but it’s getting harder by the day. We’ve lost so much, but the hardest part is the constant fear for our lives. We’ve already witnessed too much destruction, and we know the situation could get even worse.
We started this GoFundMe because we need help. We need funds not only to survive but also to try and escape Gaza before it’s too late. Hello, unfortunately my previous account was deleted so I will retell my story, my name is Ahmed Al-Dani, I am 14 years old. I live in Gaza, where I was born amidst ongoing conflicts and wars. In 2008, while my mother was pregnant with me, a phosphorous bomb fell near our house, and I inhaled the toxic gas. This led to genetic deformities that affected the growth of my teeth and hair.
Throughout my life, my family has tried to find solutions to my health problems, and we have visited many doctors in Gaza. The treatment recommended by the nurses was dental implants, but each tooth costs about $1,000, which is beyond our means.
My treatment journey began, but the ongoing conflict has made things more difficult. My family and I have been displaced more than seven times in the past ten months, and we now live in the southern part of Gaza without work or income, relying only on savings that we hoped to use for my treatment.
Please support me or share my story to help me continue my treatment and travel outside of Gaza, where I can complete my dental implants and take care of my health. Shirin (30 years old), our children Nahed (6 years old), rital (12 years old), Rawaa (10 years old). We are from Gaza, we are currently homeless and have been homeless for 11 months. Starting from being displaced several times, hunger, famine and the complete destruction of our home and shop, I literally lost everything, my family, my home, my friends.
We are now residing in Egypt and we don't have any money
We had a perfect life, a beautiful house that we worked for years to build and decorate. We even had our own business, a beautiful bag and accessory store. But we lost everything, we lost our savings. Our house was completely destroyed and our store burned down with all our goods. Our financial loss is estimated to be around 100,000 dollars.
But that's not all, the hardest part is the displacement and the struggle to find water, food and milk. Some nights we go to bed hungry. Most basic food needs are not available in Gaza, and if they are, it's at a tenth of the price we can't afford.
It's not just about losing everything we own, it's also about not having any current income. My children have lost all the luxuries of life, including eating, drinking, dressing properly and learning. My wife is about to give birth to a new baby in a few days, and I don't know how I'm going to do it, as there is no hospital and no money for that. My wife has lost all her passion for life. She excelled in education and She wanted to be an engineer, but God wanted it. aslo me I was also a successful businessman. We have lost everything
