Shot a bunch of video at Overloon Militracks 2019. Managed to capture the Panther startup and driving around, though I missed the turret turning part. Audio turned out great though!

The Broerenkerk Church – now named ‘Waanders in der broeren’- in the city of Zwolle, the Netherlands, has been around since 1466 and has served as an active house of worship up until 1982, laying dormant for 3 decades until it reopened this July after a renovation carried out by local firm BK Architecten.

My home and view for the past 23 (almost 24) years. I sure am gonna miss it.

Getting ready for Bordeaux. Boxing up all my stuff.
Bordeaux, here I come! September 19th, I’m flying to Bordeaux. I’m excited and a bit anxious at the same time. I’m really excited to start on this new chapter of my life, I was getting tired of being stuck in this limbo in between finishing my study (my Bachelor thesis is taking forever) and “adulthood”, getting a grown-up job. At the same time there’s so much going on here as well. Since two weeks I’ve got my first boyfriend ever. If that is not hard enough, we’ll also be living about 1100 kilometers apart. We just gotta make it work, ‘cause I have never been so much in love. I told myself I shouldn’t date anyone before moving to Bordeaux, but apparently I jinxed it, haha. Not complaining though, he’s a sweetheart.
A brief introduction. Permettez-moi de me présenter. Moi, je m’appelle Simon. I’m a creative-being, language student, ginger covered in freckles, but most of all a Dutchie trying to become a Frenchie. The last five years I have studied French language and culture at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Now that I am almost finished it’s time for the next step: moving to France. My goal: to become fluent in French. I expect that it will take about a year, after which I will decide on staying in Bordeaux or returning to the Netherlands to begin a Master’s degree course. I’d like to become fluent in at least five languages, score so far: 2,5/5. Dutch, my native language, English and French (I am pretty fluent, but I am a perfectionist). So far my brief introduction, it’s already pretty elaborate. ¡Hasta la próxima vez! (I also speak some Spanish, haha!).
