Rastim Week - Tumblr Posts
Hello! I know I'm not *that* active here but as you might know, I'm the mod running both Ra'sTim week and Bottom!Tim month so it is my pleasure to invite you all to the third Ra'sTim week, 2023 edition!
Due to real life being annoying, only the Twitter account of the event will be active but I'm going to check here from time to time in case you don't use Twitter and want to ask something regarding the event! Anyway, the prompts will probably be released before January 11th, so make sure to check the Twitter page to see the final results!
Date: The event will run from March 12th to March 19th (2023).
Theme: Ra's al Ghul/Tim Drake ship!
No other Ra's/Bat ships allowed!!! Bat/Tim ships are allowed only as long as the work doesn't try to push any hate or slander towards any ship or character.
Details: Seven days will have three possible prompts to cover, and one day will be free. The event has eight days in total, but AO3 collection stays open until the next event and in social media we'll stay active around one month after the week ends.

Just saw some Sla*e/J***n shipper saying they don't ship Ra'sTim because of how problematic it is and omg THE AUDICITY of those shippers! Who's gonna tell them they are never gonna be SlaDick? 🚶
Whatever, to each their own, but some shippers out there are the biggest hypocrites ever. "Ra'sTim is problematic" last time I checked Ra's wasn't a confirmed abuser who manipulates children via toxic substances nor a man who becomes a mercenary due to his desire for violence but whatever 🤷
"Ra'sTim has an age gap!" Yes, welcome to the twilight saga scenario. Ra's is 800 years old, are we really going to have this discussion? If anything Ra's is actually less problematic in his ships, since he's basically a vampire/mortal situation, whereas characters like Slade are actual humans in instances where age DOES matter but of course Ra's is the one people draw the line at.
And the NERVE to put that in my timeline during Ra'sTim week 2023!!! The lack of taste.

It is a pleasure to announce that finally, real life has given me enough of a break to release Ra'sTim Week 2024. The week will follow it's usual format (6 days with 2~4 prompts and 1 day totally free). If you wish to vote on the specific date of start, please visit our official Twitter page!
Extra information you might want to know:
The event is now formally Ra'sTim only (no 🔄)
Other Ra's/Bat ships aren't allowed in any level
Every work (no matter it's nature) must have the proper tags and warnings
Survey to filter the prompts to be used for this week will be released soon. It will be a Google survey and won't include most of the prompts already featured before (with exceptions such as genderbent & omega-verse)
AO3 collection will be released around 3~15 days before the start of the event, in case anyone wants to post in advance.
The event's purpose is to give love to Ra'sTim as a ship, so please, don't limit yourself to fic and fanart! Memes, edits, playlists and others will be shared and promoted as well. You can also write essays, make rec lists or even just share your head canons or ship dynamics you like for them (for this last option, we suggest using ship trope templates so that it's more visual!)
