Your heart is pounding. It’s your third date with Chanyeol and he’s invited you back to his place. He ordered way too much delivery food, unsure what you were in the mood for, and was currently leaning forward to slide a disc into the console propped up on the entertainment center.
The muscles in his back were almost as distracting as the view of his ears from the back. You were trying to stifle a smile, fondness making your heart pick up double time in your chest but the sight of the muscles in his shoulders bunching and his spine curving as he bends down, blowing gently on the disc after he pulls it out of the case and then puts it into the console, is making heat spread from your cheeks.
Sometimes you wonder if he has any idea how attractive he is. No sooner than the thought crossed your mind, did Chanyeol turn back and give you a smile. It’s devastatingly handsome and speaks volumes in that moment - he knows you were checking him out.
There’s a sparkle in his eyes when he straightens back up and holds out his hand to you. For half a second you blanche, unsure what it is he wants and out of instinct, you reach out to him, too. His fingers wrap around your hand, encapsulating them and making you feel incredibly small, even more so when laughter erupts from him.
“Ah,” He cocks his head to the side, smiling wide and fondly down at you, “I was hoping you’d hand me the controller, but this is really nice, too.”
You blush 10 different shades of scarlet, eyes trailing in a snap away from his amused face to the controller sitting on your side of the coffee table, easily within reach. You snatch your hand from Chanyeol’s, muttering something even you aren’t sure had any basis in actual human speech, and offer him the controller without meeting his gaze.
