I’ve been thinking about Jaimes healing factor.

Because Khaji is quite literally integrated into every cell of Jaimes body, it makes sense to me that they could force his cells into an accelerated rate of healing. But we’ve only seen this in action with scrapes and (probably) internal injuries (you can’t tell me his ribs weren’t broken like. 5 times), so I’ve come up with an idea that helps on a larger scale of injury.

Ok so I’ve been watching a LOT of Roanoke Gaming on YouTube (he’s a microbiologist who discusses movies that deal with infections mutations and just a lot of speculative biology in general it’s REALLY cool) and I saw him discussing a fungus called Mycillium. It creates small tendrils to explore an area before growing in that direction. It just looked. So cool. So I decided Jaime should get some.

This would become useful for larger injuries (like. Dismemberment ya know). Which would knit the wound back together so Khajis healing has an easier time kicking in.

The Mycillium-like structures would likely be concentrated in the spine, as Khajis main concern would be fear of spinal damage. I think that might be the only thing that could actually kill them. These structures essentially hijack the nervous system and thread through muscles, just beneath the skin in the spinal area / major joints, and bones.
