oh hello!!!! i am glad you asked!!! :D the ancient who is on a police chase is Reflections in Last Fracture, Speaks of Mirrors (or bob. stands for big ol' bastard, his iterator gave him this nickname before the...rot incident) Reflections in Last Fracture, Speaks of Mirrors was a part of a council working on an iterator (around early to mid gen 1) that can withstand the rot, this iterator wasn't the final model but was the first prototype however Reflections in Last Fracture, Speaks of Mirrors needed a approval from the rest of the council (especially since his council didn't live atop his iterator as his iterator had no city. regulations and checks need to be done for there to be a chance that the city would be built), he wasn't the best to his iterator :( this has caused the iterator to act distrusting and not cooperative (note: Reflections in Last Fracture, Speaks of Mirrors lived in another iterator city, so therefore his council was merged with the other council) even worse thing that happened is that during one of the checks, Reflections in Last Fracture, Speaks of Mirrors decided that it would be time to initiate the first bit of his plan (give his iterator a bit of rot, install it into the primary core container. its similar to a core except it contains rot, in theory the rot should not spread, and the iterator will suffer minimal consequences, if not no consequences at all). this was an utter FAILURE. not sure what happened next but basically the iterator ALMOST got killed by his stupid business decision, he got a little (a lot) mad at his iterator (RB. short for Rotting Balance), may have yelled at him, and promptly got zapped by a less harmful version of the brain zap pebbles gives you if you stay in his chamber for too long all in front of the other council people. consequences for this is that the iterator had a few new code add-ons installed onto his code. if he is disrespectful or otherwise unkind to any ancient in any way (can range from not cooperating and all the way to zapping an ancient again), he'll get 25% of his water supply taken away, and RB CANNOT be bellow 75% water supply or else he will not be able to keep the rot somewhat under control. consequences for Reflections in Last Fracture, Speaks of Mirrors is that he loses his place in the council, and gets all his permits on working on iterators taken away he wasn't happy that cycle he and the council had a REAL BAD argument, not sure what happened here either but it escalated to him threatening the other ancient with a dagger, he realized what he had done so he ran before the police could be called, threatening a maintenance worker to get the pin to the maintenance staff elevator in the superstructure's leg, then hopped onto the first train car carrying supplies over to an iterator across the mountain range the police did caught up to him eventually when they did, he ran to the nearest void fluid mine and jumped into the void he is now an echo.

awwww!!! its ok!!! and i am very honored you are taking interest in this!!!!! :D oh theres so much about this little idiot of an iterator... hmmm with what shall i start with...? well to start off i guess i will properly introduce him now! :D

RB is his group's main admin/senior (as he is the oldest out of the three seniors, yeahh his local group is BIG) he often has his communications closed, therefore not available most of the time. he is.... very paranoid, (probably caused by whatever his ancient did or also the fact that he is only on 50% water usage and he doesn't know how to overwrite the code to give him his water supply back, it feels like a constant fever rn, like the type of fever that you can't think clearly) often not trusting others or being uncooperative, this gets him quite a strained relationship with the other seniors of his group (they do not trust him, he does not trust them, all of them are one badly worded message away from arguing ... all the time) he at one point was somewhat friends with an iterator? not really tbh?? more of like a business friendship? (like the friendship people have with their coworkers?) well uhm that didn't go well that other iterator ended up succumbing to the rot it was partially due to RB's paranoia and careless actions he does also have an evil lizard cat he so nicely named "the mauler", the mauler was the only thing he was somewhat nice to! although the mauler was a handful to deal with! always trying to bite and maul!!!! it probably bit at least half of the local group (dw! no damage was done most likely, the mauler will not harm ones from the local group, however same cannot be said about iterators outside of the local group)

my edgelord evil feisty son..... RB..... he is so evil (unintentionally, he just has terrible luck i guess.) and edgelord and feisty and he has no clue how to be nice because his ancient was so feisty and evil to him.........

Ok! I’ve been thinking of this for a while now! Here comes a “what if” thing again! Here me out, albino ancients/lighter colored (mainly albino but still)

I don’t see a whole lot in this community (if there are then I must be blind). I don’t know it just make me wonder how they will be treated in society. Will it be like us? Where we are completely fine with it and everything is normal? Are they treated highly due to how rare this is (I’m pulling crap out of my ass I’m sorry)

I think they look cool! I wouldn’t mind seeing others put their take on this if anything. Since I myself many draw the ancients like dogs/cats (or deer for that matter) type hybrids, most of my references came from animals.

Mainly the pink hue mixed with the blue eyes (or red)

Just wanted to put this out there. I talked about it with a friend once and my dumb brain held on to it for MONTHS.

and this is me trying to make up ancient work days. i hc that cycles are almost the same length as weeks, being 170 hours long! each of the 17 digits is 10 hours long!

ancient so tied to the carnal plane that not even the void or the echoes could help it tried to ascend but was rejected by the void so badly that they didn't even become an echo, their strong will literally just created them a new body out of void and they crawled out of the void lake like that. now they're just out there??

ooooo!!! those are very very interesting questions! 1 - I think the iterators wouldn't be aware of them at first, especially since they do not have a citizen drone (and thus cannot be tracked or contacted), however once an overseer manages to see them perhaps an iterator would try to contact them (unsuccessful attempt tho :( no way to contact some critter that just climbed out of the void sea and is struggling to remember anything from the time they were an ancient due to the long time spent in the void) 2- their citizen drone got dissolved in the void sea! void is a highly corrosive acid, thus anything that follows an ancient to the void sea will not be retrievable or even exist after the swim in the void!!!

the gal has a design now!! this design is of course subject to change as this is only a concept so far (cloakless version under cut because i am very very proud with the patterns!)

i love this man he's so crazy!!!! he shows up in the news a few times (all propaganda related) and he's been nicknamed The Lying Monk!!! i have like.... around 40 rw ocs at this point i think... ANYWAYS HERE HAVE ME SORT OF SPECULATING WHAT ANCIENT FACES MIGHT HAVE LOOKED LIKE AS WELL ON HIS REF!!!
