FINALLY FOUND AN ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION!

I was talking with my moms friend about this and we came to the conclusion that I’d be “schrodinger's cat”

If your wondering what that is, schrodinger's cat is a famous thought experiment that demonstrates the idea in quantum physics that tiny particles can be in two states at once until they're observed. It asks you to imagine a cat in a box with a mechanism that might kill it. Until you look inside, the cat is both alive and dead at the same time.

So to some it up. I’d be both straight and gay.

I’m a girl mentally. So I’m straight.

But I’m in a guy’s body, so I’d be gay.

It’s more of a middle ground answer but it’s an answer I can get behind.

No left or right answer, just an answer that makes sense no matter how you look at it.

Ok so I had got to talking with redpala-Keith on what ifs and one of the things we talked about was, what if we suddenly woke up as our online rp avatars.

Now he’s a guy turning into a guy character. -Keith

But me, I’m a girl, who’d be turning into a guy character. -Lance

And a question popped into my head.

I’m a girl

Who turns into a guy.

I’m still a girl mentally.

And I’m still attracted to guys.

But I’m in a guy body.

does that make me gay???

Redpala-Keith and I couldn’t come up with an answer to this.

So what do you all think? In a situation like this (which is exactly like what happened in the jumanji movie with Jack black. The girl character turned into a guy in that movie.) would I automatically be gay?

And if it were in the reverse, a guy turning into a girl. Does that make them a lesbian?

Schrodinger: Okay, I think there's an issue with the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics. Here's a thought experiment to demonstrate why its understanding of "observations" is problematic. Suppose we put a cat in a box with a sample of uranium, a geiger counter, and a hammer rigged to smash open a box of poison if the geiger counter detects any radiation. After an hour,there's a 50% chance the cat is alive. But according to the Copenhagen interpretation,

You've deliberately constructed an extremely avoidable situation and then asked people to consider it inevitable. If you put a prince in a box along with a flask of poison and a radioactive source, so that if a Geiger counter detects a single atom decaying the poison is automatically released, it'll be to be and not to be.

Out of context its just so funny, like "yeah, we cant make "cats" visible to the eye, because were only limited by the technology we have."

Like im aware of what theyre talking about, but all i can imagine is that cats (like felis catus, not schrödingers) are enigmas and defy all grounding of logic because we cant make them bigger so theyre stuck at tiny fuck off scales or something lmao
