A/N: It’s cheol’s birthday, i just thought how it would've been if we celebrated his birthday like this? seungcheol, deserves all the love in this world, he deserves the whole universe, he is just so lovely.

I looked at the clock and him, simultaneously, he looked so adorable when he sleeps, I was admiring his face, he looks like a fallen angel, I just love him, how did we become like this? looking back to our days, I fell for him at the very first sight, I didn’t realize how he became so important for me, I started caring about him and started liking him until I realized I am already in love with him and today I am here, by his side. My fingers went to his bangs and I started admiring it, his bangs looks so pretty on him. his hair always wants me to run my fingers through his hair, only I know how much I resist it, because they are just soft. Like his boy who is sleeping peacefully infront of me, is just perfect, and I am madly in love with him, more like totally smitten by him. I looked at the time, the clock shower 11:50pm.
I went down to my kitchen, I didn’t want to wake him up now or else my surprise will be ruined, I had to tip top because of him, although this big baby is sleeping but he will find out that I am not by his side and will start searching. I went down hurriedly.
I went to check the cake, it looked perfectly baked, I took it out carefully, it was hot. I took out the cream and cherries, cheol loves cherries. I started decorating it slowly and carefully, my patience will help me today, I have to hurry but I can’t mess this cake. After I was done with cream, I started placing cherries, and once I am done, I looked at the clock, it showed 11:56pm.
I still have 4 minutes, I took out the candles, and placed it carefully on cake, and switched off all the lights except the lights I used for decorations. One good thing that happened, I managed to do this with Jeonghan and Joshua. I looked at the time once more, they should’ve been here by now, I went to the door, and opened it, in a hope maybe they will arrive soon. I was getting impatient, I wished they didn’t call me on my phone because it’s not with me right now, I left it on my bedroom. I just closed the door, without locking it so that they can get access to it when they arrive and they don’t need to ring the doorbell. I looked at the clock and it showed 11:59pm.
I sighed because of Hannie and Shua, I went running to the bedroom.
There he was sleeping peacefully and looked so comfortable and ethereal while sleeping. I went near him and tried waking him up.
“Love, wake up.” I tried waking him up, I was so desperate to wish him at 12:00 because I know he will get sulky if I miss 12:00 am after few attempts he woke up, he rubbed his eyes sweetly, he smiled and looked confused, “What’s wrong baby? Why are you awake?” he looked so adorable and confused. Before he could speak another word, I wished him

“Happy Birthday baby” and hugged him tight.
I could feel he was taken aback for a second and smiled, I could feel his smile, he hugged me back.
“Thankyou so much princess”
“It’s your birthday today, did you forget?” I asked him, still not leaving him.
“Yes, I forgot but now I remember”
“You were so sulky last time when hannie didn’t wish you at 12:00 am and now look at you, forgetting your own birthday” I told him, he pulled back from the hug.
“But now I have you, who will remind me everytime if I forget something” before I could say him something, he pulled me into a kiss, he pulled me closer and my hands went to his neck, I just couldn’t help myself, I missed his soft tender lips on me, before he could kiss me deeper I pulled back. He pouted, very obviously he didn’t want to stop.
“Don’t pout now let’s go downstairs” I held his hand,
“Close your eyes before we go downstairs and no cheating and also don’t open until I tell you to.” he closed his eyes, and he didn’t cheat like last time, Jeonghan gives him so many ideas, I just can’t believe him, like he got an amazing brain, well he is Yoon Jeonghan for a reason.
I held his hand and took him to the table where I kept the cake, and lit up the candles first, I tried looking for Jeonghan and Joshua, they were still not here and the clock was ticking, it was 12:10 am already, I wonder what re they upto. I wanted to wait for them, they are his bestfriends, how can I celebrate seungcheol’s birthday without them? We can wait for them. Once they come, they need a good lecture from me.
“Can I open now princess?” here he is being way to cute, how to resist his cuteness, I always melt because of that. “You can open your eyes cheol” I replied him with a smile.
“You did this?” he gasped, I mean it was not a grand decoration but it was just perfect, soft, sweet, cozy.
“Yes but Jeonghan and Shua helped me too, when you were out today. Three of us did this together, I wanted to do something special for you and asked them for a little help so we did it.”
“Awwww, my princess, thankyou so much”
“Seungcheol will you stop teasing me? You know it very well whenever you call me princess my heart can’t take it.”
“That’s why I love it, I love calling you princess”
“Cheol stop I swear-
And there he kissed me again, I was speechless, his fingers went to my cheeks, caressing it, his touch was working on me again. he knows my weakness to well, this is our fourth year together and fourth year celebrating his birthday, but I am still not used to “princess” it just makes my heart skip a beat, it gives me butterflies and he knows it too well, being the biggest flirt, he knows everything, how to deal with me, make me blush, make my cheeks go hot, give me butterflies, he knows it all and I'm still not over his tactics.
I couldn’t resist again and put my hands around his neck, he pulled me closer, my eyes were closed but I could feel his stares on me, he just knows how to make things go his way, if he needs a kiss, he would kiss me and if it’s a no from me he would get sulky and I would give in.
“Thankyou so much for everything you’ve done for me love, I love you so much” he whispered
“I love you too cheol, love you a lot” I said he was about to kiss me once again but voices made him stop.
“Coups, that candle will melt anytime soon and then what? She made the cake for you, don’t let it get wasted because of wax”
“Joshua?” I asked
“Yes” it was Jeonghan who replied
“Jeonghan?”
I went to them and gave a good smack on their head, they were holding gifts, “when did u come?” I asked them, very well aware they both of us didn’t notice them coming.
“Just before you confessed eachother” I was embarrassed at this point. Jeonghan is a very big teaser, I don’t want him to tease me till my last day in earth before he could speak something, I spoke “Since both of you are here, let’s celebrate this big baby’s birthday and thanks for finally coming and you are LATE”
Seungcheol was watching everything and just smiling, I looked at him, even his smile is adorable, god this boy, he is just way to adorable.
We all gathered around the table, and Seungcheol, closed his eyes before blowing up the candle, he made a wish and blew the candles.
“Happy Birthday Seungcheol” three of us wished him
“Happy birthday love, I love you” even if I tell him” I love you for the nth time it still feels that’s it’s still less, my love for him is something else “thankyou for being born, love and bringing happiness to my life. You have no idea how much special you’re to me, you are my home, my comfort, my happiness and my everything. Being with you made me realize that I love you more than myself and there you stand, I will love you till the last, so be happy, you mean a lot to me.”
Before I could tell him more, that how much I appreciate him, he sealed me with a kiss, “I know and I love you more”

And since they left for Canada today, cheol will celebrate his birthday twice once in plane another in Canada, uuuuhuuu, I am so happy. baby deserves so much, I love him so much. I was standing outside our bedroom; I didn’t go inside yet. I already lit up the candles, I was just holding it way too carefully, scared of the fact something might go wrong. I baked cake after such a long time, I missed baking cakes and this is how I make a comeback, I heard my phone alarm go off inside the room, I am pretty sure it will wake him up.
I silently counted till 10 and opened the door, the lights were off and the room was just the way I left few minutes ago, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHEOL” I spotted him sitting on the bed, holding my phone and rubbing his eyes, he looked so adorable.
“Happy birthday love” and I was walking towards him, carefully, so that the candles remain safe.

My words were cut off, he just blew out the candles, I was shocked at him, and he let out a chuckle. I was speechless because of him. “You have to make a wish when you blow out the candles!! Cheol” I looked at him in disbelief.
“My wish already came true. I have you in my life” and he kissed my cheeks, “thankyou so much for this and just everything.” His kiss caught me off guard, I came back to earth after few seconds. “you-you just didn’t do that”

“Ki- before I could even say the word ‘kiss’ he kissed me again, and this time on my lips, his lips were so soft, I was melting but the fact I was holding the cake. He pulled himself back. “it’s my birthday can’t I at least kiss you to start my birthday?” I was taken aback and way too flustered to say anything.
Reminded me, I had gift inside my drawer, “Hold this” he took the cake from me and he was sitting like an obedient child, he looked so adorable. How can he just be like a cute baby. I went to bring his gift, from the drawer and came back to him.
“Here’s your gift, once again happy birthday seungcheol”
“Aren’t you, my gift?” if he keeps on doing this, I doubt he will even cut the cake and tell me how’s it. I doubt that. The way he was being like this at 12 am, what about me and my poor heart who just can’t take this sweet seungcheol and his words?
“Stop! I feel embarrassed, accept this.” he took it from me, “Cut the cake and taste it, tell me how’s it because I baked after a long time, hope this is okay” he kept the gift box beside him and then gestured me to sit beside him. I took a seat beside him. he started cutting the back and I started singing happy birthday song to him, while cutting the cake, I was looking at him, how dearly he was looking at the cake and how he smiled when I started singing the birthday song, his dimples were visible now. How can a person be this lovely, I always ask myself, I know it’s his birthday but I feel like I’m the one getting the gift on his birthday by spending this day with him. He is so dear to me.
Every day I love him a little more, how can I not, when it’s him, Choi Seungcheol.
I got startled as soon as his finger made contact with my cheeks, I looked at him with surprise and realized he just put the frosting on my cheeks.
“I made this for you and not for my cheeks choi seungcheol” and I took the frosting so that I could put it on his cheeks as well, why would he do that to me!!
But before I could put it on his cheeks he held my hand, and said “but the frosting looks so much more appetizing on your cheeks” and licked the frosting, and pecked my cheeks. I was just too stunned to speak a single word, one thing for sure I can never top seungcheol in this and he knows how to make me go crazy.
“and I love the cake, it’s just perfect. It’s more than anything I could ask for” his eyes softened, all the mischief he had on his face earlier went away and was replaced with a soft, humble and honest expression.
“I’m glad cheol, I love you so much” he kept the cake on the night stand and his fingers trailed my cheeks, he leaned in. “thankyou so much for making my days meaningful and making my birthday more meaningful than any other day. I love you more, love” and kissed me.
