The Undertale Fandom has failed me on this one.  I keep seeing Pokemon X Undertale crossovers with Sans being/owning Pokemon. Mostly its obvious comparisons, Duskull  and Cubone/Marrowak with the whole skull and bones thing, and like 50 Gengars. really now, only 3 pictures I saw included the perfect Pokemon comparison for Sans, and they all were pictures showing what his party would be, not direct matches. This little bugger right here.
Shedinja. Now, I can just imagine you all going âUndertale-Science Senpai is crazy, how is a silly bug angel like Sans?â Well, sit back, this is gonna be a long one. Fight Mechanics: For those that donât know, Shedinja is a very unique pokemon, first of all, it is obtained whenever a Nincada evolves into a Ninjask and there is a space in your party. Nincada evolves at level 20, and as a result you get a level 20 Shedinja. This is very comparable to the LV you are when you beat Sans, the highest possible LV, 20.  Shedinja is very unique in having only one HP, just like Sans, technically making it one of the weakest pokemon. Shedinja can never get more than 1 HP.  Any attack that hits it will defeat it. Just like Sans, this sounds like the weakest thing ever. ExceptâŠ
Wonder Guard. The ability only Shedinjas have, that means that only super effective attacks hit. just like with Sans, this little guy will watch attack after attack fail to do damage.  It is mainly used to exploit this, and can accomplish some pretty cheatsy things in the game, just like how Sans will slightly cheat during his fight and break many of the fighting ârulesâ of the game.  There is so much stuff you can do, you can even potentially make it immune to 16/18 move types. Here you can see all the cool stats and things you can do. Appearance: Shedinja is hollow, that chubby friendly body has empty dark eye sockets. The exoskeleton is just a solid armor or mask. Itâs face and body is always stuck like that, not moving.  Instead of flying, it just floats using its supernatural powers to teleport and float around. It even looks like the Delta Rune Angel symbol, with the added halo.Â
Behavior/ Supernatural Nature Like Sans, Shedinja appears in the forests and is able to be stealthy and follow you. They both share this âguardian angelâ stereotype. Shedinja often appears with its lively counterpart, Ninjask, like Sans and Papyrus. Shedinja is hollow and full of darkness, and what is inside of it is well debated. Shedinja also shares Sans role as the Developers cheeky middle finger to the player. You see,  The Pokedex entries mention how theres is legend that anyone who peers into its body through the hole in its back will have their soul stolen by the pokemon. and then once you close the pokedex entry and try to test this new Pokemon you got, you see this.Â
all of its back sprites have you staring into the hole in its back.Â
And of course, like Sans, Shedinja has its fair share of creepy art and theories.

Nobody asked for more but I have them anyway because I have autism. So I keep talking about poliwag and the Pines. Why? Because theyâre split evolutions but not just any split evolution, politoed evolves with a kings rock while poliwrath evolves with a regular water stone. So they twins definitely found the poliwags in the local stream they frequented in the woods. Their parents had gifted a kingâs rock to Ford because they believed that it would help him concentrate on his future and manifest into becoming a great noble person but they didnât have/didnât want to give Stanley a water stone because he wasnât destined to be great. (This was Filbrickâs doing rlly their mama would never do that to them) So Ford had a politoed in high school but I think that Stanley wouldnât get to evolve his poliwhirl until post portal when he finds a box of old things with pictures of them in their childhood and a crumpled up gift box addressed to him. It read âHappy 18th birthday Stanley.â And some other things that had become illegible due to water damage and inside is a water stone. (I donât care if this is OOC this is MY angst AU) Anyway, there are plenty of split evolutions that involve a kings rock and a different more mundane way of evolution so why did I choose poliwag? WELL in my last post I said that I see them as masters of double battles right? Well, Politoed gets the ability drizzle, which sets up rain on the field while Poliwrath gets the ability Swift Swim which doubles the speed of the PokĂ©mon during rain. They both start off as the same PokĂ©mon (theyâre born as twins) but they eventually turn into two different PokĂ©mon that compliment each other (theyâve grown apart but if it comes to it then theyâll still work together) and during weirdmageddon I think theyâll have to set aside their differences for a final double battle against bill cipher :D
