Sheridananimation - Tumblr Posts

Intro

So over the past year, I’ve been at Sheridan’s animation program, and to be honest, it was a wild ride of a lot of things. I think I’ve learned a lot about myself in the past year so I’m gonna be using Tumblr as sort of a blog to mentally break down a lot of the stuff I’ve seen and felt. 

I’m super grateful to all the artists, vloggers, and bloggers who make this sort of content, since it’s helped me in the past and present. I’m writing this not only as another aid to help people who want to go into art and animation but also as a reminder for myself. Someday I think I’ll get around to making a Youtube channel to help kids like me, but for now this is where I’ll start.

The goal for each of these posts is to write whatever comes to mind on a topic and care less about the structure of writing, because who ever fucking cares about highschool english essay hamburgers on Tumblr right?

Dear freshman me:

Don’t do your best. If you’re not learning then you’re not doing your job. Do your best because you wanna get better, not because you wanna be better than someone else.

Mr. Sheridan volunteers for life drawing, Calarts isn't too happy. Also side note that this ship has been named "Sharts" by the people of twitter.
