Naturally, he was working. Wasn't he always?
Well...perhaps not this ferociously, to detract from the annoyance and cold chill he felt, at his wife's absence. His cheek was near bloody with how he chewed at it, quill nib threatening to break under the stress of his angry scribbling--
And yet, it all washed away, once Lilibet was back in his sight. Even still, it wasn't quite enough; He needed her in his arms. So the Gerudo King stands, and Lily's book is placed on the desk with less care than he should probably take. His arms surround her, and pull her tight to his chest, then further still, up and into his embrace.
"...I didn't expect you so soon." He says, and she knows he means 'I'm glad for that'.

It was a bit torturous being out in the desert. Not only for the heat but being without her husband. It was worth the pain of having to be away from him with the history she found within the dunes. The ruins were packed with history that she was lucky she even found. It was mostly buried in the sand. She spent days making sure she wrote down every single bit of history she could find before making her way back home.
Usually, she would spend the extra time bathing when coming back from something like this, but she really wanted to see her husband. The book that was filled with everything he could possibly want to know was in her arms as she made her way inside the study.
"Vevi, I'm back. I found quite a bit of history within those ruins I told you about."
