(Background: Y/n was hit with a fear toxin on the mission, now she's having a panic attack)

"When i wake up, am afraid..." you muttered, in the corner of Miguels office when the toxin took effect, the team tried to comfort you, while Miguel and LayLa look for an antidote.

"Your so mean, I don't like you" choking on a sob, she opened her eyes slowly "Fuck you, anyway" you suffled away from, Gwen, who was rubbing your arm in comfort.

Gwen and the others were startled by the outburst, except Hobie, who was sitting a distance away, but rose from his sit, crouched by the you and held your hand, "Why are you Afraid?" he asked, though he's voice wasn't above a whisper.

Your tense shoulders fell, somewhere in your head you processed Hobie's voice and rough palm, "When I...when I wake up am afraid, somebody else might take my place", you spoke shakingly but your breathing calmed, and squeezed Hobie's hand and raised your other arm, 'hug', he embraced you without thought, and pulled your face to he's chest as he rested his head on your hair...

"Noone will ever take you away from me, love, never be Afraid", he muttered in your hair, its getting so much harder to hide his feelings for you.
