I know this joke has been made before but here’s my take on it
Sora’s not dumb! He’s friendly (perhaps overly so at times, sure) and he’d never been faced with a computer before kh2. That doesn’t make him dumb.
It’s like. Not knowing how to operate a forklift doesn’t make me dumb, it just means it hasn’t been a relevant skill for me. It’s a complex piece of technology that I’ve never seen in person before.
Not having a skill doesn’t make you dumb. Being nice doesn’t make you dumb. You can’t change my mind.

Today's headcanon.
Sora speaks French.
It all started on when he first met the Beast. Who would say certain words or grunt.
While navigating HB, he'd sorta teach him.
It picked up when he visited his Castle, where Lumiere taught him on down time, and made lessons fun.
Sora is a really quick learner, he's surprised it keeps surprising people.
So when he meets Remmy, and starts cooking at the Bistro, he can read the recipes, he definitely learns a lot more, but he'll speak French to Remmy, who deeply appreciates.
He slips into every once in a while. Uncle Scrooge was impressed and started to teach him German.
Sora loves German, and loves the baked goods even more.He was ecstatic when he found out Eugene spoke it
You know he cusses at Donald who just cusses back.Goofy is none the wiser.
He ends up mixing them up when he's upset.
He's ranting to Riku when Riku has to grab him by the shoulders to calm him down, and grab his attention, when he's like, "Are you speaking French?"

So I’ve edited Somnus Ultima, another piece of Yoko Shimomura, on Riku’s sacrifice and… I cried found it beautiful and really fitting, so I wanted to share it
Kingdom Hearts 2 is so. Fascinating. So much of the game involves disney couples getting together or keeping relationships stable (Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Hercules, Atlantica, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lion King, and maybe even Halloween town???) which is. maybe supposed to evoke Sora’s feelings for Kairi
But the game is about Sora and Riku.
Riku is barely in Kingdom Hearts 2 and Sora will NOT stop mentioning him for 90% of the game. Kairi gets kidnapped at one point and he still asks others about Riku more!
And when they finally meet up! Sora meeting up with Kairi feels kind of forced and nongenuine! Sora says he cares but he doesn’t really show it as much! But when RIKU comes? Tears start FLYING from him??? “I looked everywhere for you…!”
How else are you supposed to interpret that in a game with so many couples getting together despite the difficulties?!
