i believe that jumin and I have the same core desire

perhaps this is a delusion, something i’ve invented to feel closer to a character i adore but i’d like to share anyone perhaps someone out there will relate

i believe jumin wants to be seen. really seen not simply looked at. i believe so many people have looked at him and assumed they see him and moved on that he feels unbearably lonely. to be seen is a rare thing. to have someone see us as we are no facades or assumptions, no role to play or weakness to hide that is a gift. jumin locks away his emotions so often that he is never seen. people label him and never look beyond that label. he is told to be strong, cordial, professional, mature and he is. he puts on those traits like a shield wears them like a cape and suddenly no one can see him.

jumin wants to be seen in a world that is filled to the brim with people to busy or blind to try.

i connect with jumin because i would like to be seen but like him i have no idea how to go about it.
