Maybe it would be more accurate to use Pink Diamond as a ghost of the past. But I like Rose more.. The way she stands with her arms open.

Don't know why or how it happened, but I wanted to imagine shattering of Steven's gem. Don't know how (or if) Steven's human half would still live.
Also I felt myself sick and almost gave up on drawing on that day. BUT I mentally punched myself. So here it is, although it looks kinda meh for me :'D

Steven is babysitting and Spinel is very confused about tiny human being.
"Steven, what am I supposed to do with that??" - wondered Spinel not breaking eye contact from the baby. Steven couldn't help but chuckle and said that she could try and say to her something funny... And Spinel told her a joke about lazulis and aquamarine.

Yeah, thay have A LOT of nicknames for each other. I wonder for how much time they can just sit like that. And who will be the one to stop... It just turns into a battle...

So, here we are! The last day of my first challenge. I'm very proud of myself. That I managed to keep up with drawing everyday, even if it wasn't easy. That I did finish this challenge.
As an AU I decided to make a genderbend. Good thing that last day was Saturday, so I had a bunch of time to draw and even color the picture.
Also I wanted to thank everyone for support! It's very important for me. You gave me motivation to make all of this. And I will try to keep on drawing. Thank you!

Serious Question, I hope this isn't offensive, but why are people against Spinel and Steven? I could see some chemistry going down. It's a lot better than Stevencest.
I guess most of these people are against any Steven/gem ship because of age difference (they describe it as pedophilia).
Well I think, as long as gems don't actually have ageing concept, we should consider their mental state. I see Pearl and Garnet as moms for Steven, Amethyst as his elder sister.
As for Spinel.. She is 6000+ "years old". But she was created as a child to entertain Pink Diamond. She is the best friend. She spent six thousands years standing still waiting for a friend. I doubt that she grew up mentally during waiting time. She was still a child when she got Steven's message. Lost and forgotten child. During the movie she seems to me as a problematic teenager who needs a friend therapy like, you know, Steven during SUF. I'm so amazed how much they have in common. In my opinion, they are like soulmates.
And just look at Spinel in "Homeworld bound". She's a baby. I'm sorry, but there is no way to call this ship pedophilia. I respect every ship and every opinion. But I don't want a ship that I like or me or other people who like Stevinel to be associated with such a bad thing or treated badly.
