Future's gonna be okay
I've stayed as far from the media circus surrounding our Yoongi as possible these past few days and weeks. I did not want to see my hero brought down by lowlifes and vultures.
Avoiding tw/x and curating my feed on other socials as carefully as possible meant that I got through the worst of it without accidentally engaging with the footage i was trying not to witness.
But today, despite my best efforts, I ran into a video of him outside the police station. The coldness that seeped into my bones felt like I'd walked over my own grave. I've had a trickle of bile in my throat ever since.
I refuse to allow that image of him to take root in my memories. I'm posting this to dispell the remnants of it and to remind myself and anyone else who sees this, that Yoongi will not go gently.

I’m so glad I found yoongi at this point of time in his life. Having seen and heard everything he has been through- he’s seen all the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Seeing his growth through al the content over the years and how his rough edges have softened thus strengthening his relationship with the members and his family… all of it gives me so much hope.
