Finally did my summary of art 2017!
This year's review: 2017 was the year I drew a lot and posted very little haha.
So I allowed myself to fill my two empty periods (the diploma period hahaha) with "semi-pro" drawings (the models of the costumes for LOUVES / and the poster for the festival Nyansapo from the Afrofeminist Collective MWASI were realized earlier but it was at this time that they have been used the most)
What makes me realize 2 things: I have to scan more often my traditional drawings and show you a little more what I do in my professional curriculum ?
I have tested a lot this year. I'm still trying to figure out things, still looking for myself, I don't have a fixed style. I have to draw more sets in 2018. (and do less portraits haha)

You know what? I did the summary thing and I forget I drew all these this year lmao. I did say last year that I would draw more sceneries and I did. But also I did some lineless stuff on january?? And Black Panther??
That’s how long 2018 felt to me, and the last months exhausted me like never before. A lot of changes happened in this period, end of formation, moving out, unemployment, new job... That’s why I started a crazy inktober and only did half of it. This was the year of multiples challenges, disappointments, frustration, ups and downs, good experiences and very bad ones.
I lack hindsight not to find nothing but bad to take away from 2018. I hope I’ll have more peaceful moments in this new year, and I hope I’ll still have the time to create more art?
My 2019 Art summary! I’m proud of so much more but i can only put one per spot! Plus below the cut my one from 2018! and just comparing the two I find it hilarious that they kinda match up!

2023 art summary
Overall, I’m super happy with how much I’ve improve this year! My one goal was to get better at color theory and I feel like I accomplished that!!

I'm really proud of my progress in 2021, I've become a lot less afraid of painting compared to the past couple, and it's all thanks to sacrificing hyper-detailed pieces for ones that only have what they really need. Happy soon-to-be NYE and screw covid! :D <3
