I was always confused by this because I knew that the old man gave Link a sword, not a companion. At the end of this interaction, Link is still alone. I always thought it was kind of stupid for that reason. Some help you are, old man! I’m still alone!
Maybe I just have Breath of the Wild on the brain. But the old man was never trying to stop Link from going alone. He was saying: “You’re going to be alone, and that will be scary. But you can use this to fight.”
TL;DR - the old man doesn’t solve the problem. But he does suggest that the problem can be solved.

Hmmm i think someone asked me this too before! About how to not end up portraying the members in an inaccurate way buuuut we all see people from different lenses. You might see Hannie as more of a playful guy but i might see him as more of a serious one, depending on which side of him / which video i watch haha
So really, i think everyone has their own perception of someone else and it's okay to not be 100% accurate because it's impossible!
But if there's something you wanna do it would probably be watching their videos! The ones that are not really scripted, of course. That helps me a lot!

My OCs reaction to finding out they're pregnant/gonna be a parent
Amasa: He already felt like he had everything in the world with his daughter. Amasa secretly wanted another child, but wasnt going to push her about the subject. When she said there was something important they needed to discuss needless to say he was nervous. As the words left her mouth, he felt more excitement than ever before. He quickly went to her, squeezing her carefully in a hug.
AJ: Having 4 kids already, she knew the signs like a well read book. She tried to tell herself that she was just freaking herself out but would take a test just to be sure. Seeing the two lines she would chuck it across the bathroom and put her face in her hands, trying to figure out how she was gonna deal with more.
Melanie: A lot isnt known about Demon and human hybrids. Melanie never thought that she would be about to carry, considering her mixedness. Because of this, she wasnt too keen on being safe. But after complaining to her mother about cramps and feeling weird, her mother convinced her to buy a test. She couldn't believe her eyes and stared at the test in disbelief. Many emotions running through her head.
Minhyuk: He was beyond careful. He insisted on some form of control as well as protection for himself. So when his girlfriend carefully broke the news to him, he was in denial at first. Hoping it was a joke.
Samuel: Sam definitely didnt care about the chances, in fact the thought excited him in a way. He was rather surprised they lasted this long without a scare. He felt a sense of pride when he saw the test in the bathroom. He confronted her about it quickly. Despite his composure, he was elated inside.
Eunmi: She figured something like this could ruin his and her careers. Along side being extremely young and her father being upset. She was careful, but apparently not careful enough. A routine health check is what broke the news to her. The doctor excitedly telling her congratulations. She sat in stunned silence for the rest of her visit
Kyungah: Having never been in a relationship prior, she was in no rush to third base. So of course after months of convincing herself that it was okay and she'd be safe, the worse outcome is seen. She wouldn't know what to do, nor how to tell him.
Erik: Wolves have an instinct to create a large family. His family thrived in huge packs and he definitely wanted that himself. Yet, he assured her he wouldn't get too carried away and would be safe. So when he learned that his family was starting, he couldn't hold his excitement. He would immediately start pampering her to make it as easy as possible
