The link between tarot and marriage can be seen in various cards that represent themes related to relationships, commitment, and partnership.
Tarot cards can offer insights and guidance for those seeking clarity and understanding in their marriage or partnership.

THE HIEROPHANT
The Hierophant is the one most likely to symbolize marriage and engagements. The Hierophant card is very closely associated with traditional customs and the celebrations which come with marriage.
As it is a card which is symbolic of traditional values, the Hierophant is also an indicator that you and your lover are culturally or religiously are invested in the sanctity of marriage.
Additionally, The Hierophant can also represent guidance from a mentor or spiritual leader in matters of the heart. Perhaps seeking advice or counsel from a trusted elder or wise friend can help bring clarity to your relationship and guide you towards a successful and fulfilling future together.
Overall, The Hierophant card is a positive sign when it comes to matters of love and relationships. It suggests stability, commitment, and traditional values. If you are looking for a long-term, committed relationship, The Hierophant is a positive omen that marriage could be on the horizon for you and your partner.
THE WORLD
If you have always aspired to be a wife/husband than The World means that married life is on the cards.
The World is a positive indicator for marriage because it often represents a major ambition being accomplished. Once you have fulfilled the ‘goal’ of getting married you can move onto something else. The World predicts the end of one cycle, and the start of another.
Therefore, if you have marriage on your mind and The World appears in your reading, take it as a positive sign that marriage is in your future. Whether it be with the person you are currently involved with or someone new, The World signifies the fulfillment of a major goal and the start of a new chapter in your life.
Trust in the universe that everything will work out for the best in the end. Trust in the process, trust in the journey, and trust in yourself. Marriage may be just around the corner for you.
THREE OF CUPS
The Three of Cups is not a ‘marriage’ Tarot card per say, but it does predict weddings, engagements, births, baptisms and other celebrations; this is why the Three of Cups is on our list of marriage cards. If your relationship is already well-established, then the Three of Cups can predict marriage and children.
If your relationship is not well-established, the Three of Cups is a good card to indicate that your relationship is heading in a more serious direction, especially if the two of you have not yet mingled with each other’s friends and relatives. The Three of Cups means that you and your lover will be attending weddings together (but not necessarily your own!)
JUSTICE
Along with The Hierophant, Justice is up there on my list of cards most likely to represent marriage. In fact, if you receive these two cards together, you’re very lucky in the sense that they are both fabulous indicators of traditional marriage which is bound by law.
Additionally, Justice represents fairness, balance, and karma. It indicates that the decisions you make now will have consequences, and it urges you to consider the repercussions of your actions. If you have been wronged, Justice assures you that the truth will be revealed and that you will receive the justice you deserve.
On a more personal level, Justice reminds you to be honest and fair in your dealings with others. It encourages you to take responsibility for your actions and to strive for balance in your relationships and in your life as a whole. It also suggests that you may need to make a difficult decision based on what is right and just, even if it is not the easiest or most popular choice.
Overall, Justice is a powerful card that reminds us of the importance of fairness, accountability, and integrity in our lives. It serves as a reminder to always strive to do what is right, even when it may be difficult, and to trust in the natural order of the universe to bring about justice in the end.

Marriage and tarot can be interconnected in various ways. Tarot can be used as a tool for gaining insights and guidance on relationships, including marriage. Tarot readings can provide clarity on the dynamics within a marriage, potential challenges, and ways to enhance the connection between partners.
Additionally, tarot can be used for individual self-reflection and personal growth, which can ultimately benefit a marriage. By gaining a deeper understanding of oneself through tarot, individuals can bring more awareness and mindfulness to their relationships, leading to healthier and more fulfilling marriages.

THE LOVERS
It is pretty obvious why The Lovers is a card which can signify marriage. The Lovers of The Rider Waite Smith Tarot deck (and the art of many other card decks) includes Adam and Eve; the first married couple to walk the earth.
However, The Lovers alone does not predict a marriage. The Lovers is also a card of sexuality and temptation, so in a negative reading it can predict that your relationship will be ‘sinful’ and not progress to a major commitment.
In a more positive reading, The Lovers can represent a deep connection and bond between two people, a mutual understanding and support that is strong enough to overcome any obstacles. It can represent the coming together of opposites, creating a harmonious balance within the relationship.
Ultimately, The Lovers is a card of union and partnership, whether that be in the form of marriage or a committed relationship. It signifies the importance of love, trust, and communication in any partnership, and the potential for growth and harmony in the connection between two people.
TEN OF CUPS
Ten of Cups is a Tarot card which predicts that you will have your fairytale ending which, usually means that you will get a big fancy wedding and marriage the person of your dreams.
Also, the Ten of Cups is a card of families, babies and children. So, if you are at the point in your life where you would like to, not only marry, but start a family with your partner, the Ten of Cups in an outcome or future position of your relationship reading is a good sign.
Overall, the Ten of Cups signifies emotional fulfillment, happiness, and harmony within relationships. It represents a sense of unity and contentment that comes from being surrounded by loved ones and having strong emotional connections.
It is a reminder to focus on the positive aspects of your relationships and appreciate the love and support that you have in your life. Whether it is through marriage, starting a family, or simply enjoying the love and support of your loved ones, the Ten of Cups promises a happily ever after scenario for you and your partner.
TEN OF PENTACLES
Ten of Pentacles is especially good for ‘marriage’ questions if you or your lover has inheritable assets.
The Ten of Pentacles often predicts that property, businesses, money, or other valuables will be kept in your family and passed down to the younger generation. Therefore, if or your lover do not yet have a family of your own, then the Ten of Pentacles is an indicator that you one day will.
On a more general level, the Ten of Pentacles represents wealth, stability, and security. It signifies a strong foundation and financial abundance. This card indicates that you have worked hard and achieved success, and now you can enjoy the fruits of your labor. It can also suggest long-term investments paying off, or receiving an inheritance.
In relationships, the Ten of Pentacles can symbolize a strong, committed partnership that is based on trust and shared values. It represents a family that is harmonious, supportive, and financially secure. This card encourages you to focus on building stability and security in your relationships, and to appreciate the wealth of love and abundance that surrounds you.
THE SUN
The Sun is another marriage card and, in Tarot, it is traditionally associated with weddings. The Sun predicts happy marriages for the foreseeable future, especially if it appears in an outcome position.
The Sun represents joy, success, and positivity in all areas of life. It indicates that obstacles will be overcome, and things will start to fall into place. It can also suggest a new beginning or a fresh start in a relationship, bringing happiness, fulfillment, and harmony.
In love readings, The Sun can signify a strong, loving, and supportive partnership. It indicates that both partners are on the same page, enjoying each other's company and building a strong foundation for the future. It also suggests that any challenges or problems in the relationship will be resolved, leading to a period of growth and happiness.
Overall, The Sun is a very positive and optimistic card in Tarot, especially when it comes to relationships and marriages. It's a sign that good things are on the horizon and that love and happiness are within reach.
Tarot tips and tricks - Pregnancy indicators

Tarot cards can be used to gain insight and guidance on various aspects of life, including pregnancy. When asking about pregnancy in a tarot reading, the cards can provide guidance on the potential outcome of the pregnancy, any concerns or challenges that may arise, and advice on how to navigate through this special time.
It's important to remember that tarot readings are not a substitute for medical advice or prenatal care. If you have concerns about your pregnancy, always consult with a healthcare professional. Tarot can offer guidance and insight, but ultimately it is up to you to make informed decisions about your health and well-being during this special time.

The Empress is maybe the most significant card when performing a pregnancy tarot reading. Even when you’re not asking questions about pregnancy, the Empress signifies fertility, birth, and motherhood—she’s usually depicted as pregnant, after all. What’s more, she also represents acceptance, suggesting that you’ll be content and happy in your motherhood.
The Empress also signifies the cycle of motherhood and alludes to your own mother. The Empress often comes as a reminder not to make your own mother’s mistakes, so keep that in mind as you proceed with your reading.
Similarly, The Emperor represents fatherhood, and may come up in readings for men or those with husbands to suggest that he may soon become a father.
The Fool is often depicted as a carefree youth setting off on a journey, accompanied by a dog and usually walking close to the edge of a cliff. Despite its name and appearance, though, this is a favourable card to draw in a pregnancy reading. It suggests that you may have some anxieties about your current pregnancy or the prospect of motherhood, but your companions (your partner or friends) will help you every step of the way.
The Fool might also suggest that it’s time to set off on your adventure. If you’ve been waiting to conceive, now may be the right time.
The Sun doesn’t have direct ties to pregnancy, but it does signify that a hope or a dream you’ve had for a long time will soon come to fruition. When you’re doing a pregnancy reading, then, it’s likely that your dream is conception, and here comes the Sun to shed light on that dream. Or, if you’re currently pregnant, drawing the Sun suggests that you’ll have a safe and healthy pregnancy.
The Sun also offers solace in infertility. If you’ve had trouble conceiving, this card may be asking you to find relief and joy in the other aspects of your life.
The Moon governs the tides and the rhythms of life. Often, we’re unaware of those rhythms until they show themselves in an obvious way. In a pregnancy spread, drawing the Moon might suggest that you may be pregnant already and not yet know it. Or, it might simply be that pregnancy is in your future, when you hadn’t previously expected it.
The Moon also represents healing, but only when you’re ready to receive it. If you’ve recently experienced a tragedy regarding pregnancy, this card might indicate good energies coming your way.

There are times we are asked about break ups in a tarot reading. It is handy to look at the cards in this context as you are learning their meaning. To see all the cards that have elements of a breakup. So here are all the cards I think of when it comes to a breakup. T
he real story here is that no one single card can tell the whole story when you pull multiple cards. It is how they inter-relate and if you look at the reversals or not.
These are just a few examples of cards that may indicate a breakup in a tarot reading. It's important to remember that the interpretation of these cards can vary depending on the surrounding cards and the overall context of the reading. Trust your intuition and allow the cards to guide you in understanding the situation at hand.

The Hermit
The Hermit, in its solitude, paints a picture of a period where you might find yourself stepping back from social circles and embracing some quality “me time.” It’s like having a chance to focus on your personal and spiritual aspirations while flying solo. So, even though it’s not exactly a “break-up” card, it hints at a phase of self-reflection and enjoying your own company.
Tower
Wow, the Tower card sure doesn’t hold back on the drama! Lightning strikes, flames engulf the building, and people are jumping out of windows. This card paints a vivid picture of significant upheaval or a major shake-up that’s pushing you to see the world from a whole new perspective. It’s like life threw a curveball just when you thought you were cruising in a cozy relationship.
Death
The Death card symbolizes profound change and transformation, marking the conclusion of one phase and the commencement of another. Your relationship may have completed its current cycle and reached its termination point. Consequently, it is imperative to release the past and welcome forthcoming transformations. In many instances, this might entail the impending dissolution of the relationship.
Two of Cups – Reversed
When reversed, the Two of Cups suggests the conclusion of a relationship, often within the framework of a consensual decision to part ways. Both parties have arrived at the mutual understanding that separation is the most suitable course of action, necessitating the dissolution of the once-shared bond.
Three of Swords
In the Three of Swords, we come face to face with a heart pierced by three swords, symbolizing grief, heartbreak, and sorrow. This card might show up when you’ve experienced the end of a relatively new relationship. The silver lining here is the sun peeking through the clouds, reminding us that this heartache is fleeting, and brighter days are on the horizon. You’ll be moving on to greener pastures before you know it.
Five of Swords
The Five of Swords tells a story of a tough battle that didn’t quite end in victory. Maybe you’ve been stuck in a cycle of disagreements and squabbles with your partner, and now you’ve reached the point of parting ways. Even though the arguing has stopped, you might not have that satisfying closure or the last word you hoped for. Instead of dwelling on it, it’s a good moment to release and move forward.
Ten of Pentacles – Reversed
In its upright orientation, the Ten of Pentacles signifies a well-established relationship, potentially indicative of a long-term marriage and the presence of an extensive family network. In contrast, when reversed, this card may imply that the marriage is approaching its conclusion, necessitating the division of family assets and the separation of finances as part of the dissolution process. Additionally, your family and home life may experience significant impacts during this period of change.
