Tawakkul - Tumblr Posts

Always believe in the khayr of Allah's plans for you, never doubt it or second guess about it. Because, everything that happens, happens for a greater good that we do not comprehend immediately. But the tawakkul we carry in our heart, trusting Allah for whatever is put in our way, it really makes one feel at peace.

RasulAllah ﷺ said,

“Seek help from Allah Subhana wa taala and do not lose heart, and if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don’t say: If I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so,

but say:

Allah Subhana wa taala did that what He had ordained to do and your “IF” opens the (gate) for the Satan.”

Sahih Muslim Book 33 #6441

YOUR “IF” OPENS THE GATE FOR SATAN

Don't ever think that "if only" I had done/said things differently, situation would've been different...or "I wish" "What if"

Just remember, it might look so unbearable rn, so messed up n you might feel crushed under the weights...but eventually, after a certain period, you'll look back at this very situation, and no matter if you still remember how painful the experience it was, you'll thank Allah for how things turned out in your favour. Trust in His plans over yours. Always :)

How Amazing Is The Concept Of Hoping 'compensation' From Allah Subhanhuwata'ala!

How amazing is the concept of hoping 'compensation' from Allah subhanhuwata'ala!

First, Allah gives us something, and when He takes it back, He teaches us to be patient upon it, pronounce irt'ija and hoping for a better replacement from Him. There's nothing such as loss. And SubhanAllah, when you see what Allah grants you as a 'compensation' for the thing that left you, you forget every grief every pain you've gone through. Everything starts to make sense. Everything starts to feel at peace. Truly, the Rahmah of Allah is infinite. And His tawfeeq to us, in seeking from Him Alone is such an underrated favour. Alhamdulillahi katheerah 🥺🥹

So amazing to know, the reassurance Allah SWT is giving us, SubhanAllah.

Allah SWT is always there for us, looking after us, it is whether we recognise that.

Do we call out to Him or not?

Do we rely on Him or not?

Do we have sabr while getting the response or not?

Do we completely believe He is Al-Wakeel (The best disposer of our affairs) or not?

I guess the ultimate question during any hardship we face is the amount of tawakkul we have, because greater the reliance on Allah, the easier will be the hardship. Because no matter what Dunya(this life) is an ongoing test till our death, who better to ask for help, to rely on, to seek comfort from but The Creator of the entire existence who has The infinite knowledge, wisdom, who is The Most Merciful.

All you have to do is reach out, lift your hands up to Him, speak to Him although He knows your problems, He still listens, and loves you, He knows your situation better than you yourself, so ultimately surrender that is handover the matter to Him, ask Him for His help, guidance, be obedient to Him and believe sincerely He will take care of your affairs, of you. That's so beautiful knowing a being having the Most Grandeur has your back, even though you are so little. He notices you, that is so soothing and calming, Alhamdulillah.

رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَۃَ لَنَا بِہٖ

"Lord, do not burden us with more than we have strength to bear"

(Quran, 2:286)

This supplication is beautiful because it recognizes that there's a point beyond which the burdens of life can break and incapacitate us. But what's even more beautiful is that the beginning of this verse answers this existential question itself:

لَا یُکَلِّفُ اللّٰہُ نَفۡسًا اِلَّا وُسۡعَہَا

"God does not burden any soul with more than it can bear"

(Quran 2:286)

Therefore, Allah is in a way, letting it be known that you will survive, you will be looked after, you will not be burdened beyond your capacity, and most importantly — you have the strength to bear whatever hardships life brings you, because He never charges a soul with something that it doesn't have the capacity to endure, all we therefore have to do is to search for that inner God-given strength and put it to use.

Over the years, I developed a habit of subconsciously reciting واللہ المستعان whenever I faced something that disturbed my peace. But I was never aware of the background story of such powerful word until only recently when I heard about it in a lecture by on Surah Yousuf.

The word, Wallahul Mustaaan, as mentioned in the Quran, was said by Yaqoob عليه السلام when his sons came up with a false story of what happened to Yousuf عليه السلام. Yaqoob tried his best to find the truth but his sons teamed up to defend their heinous act and lies. Tired of the situation, Yaqoob asked Allah for Sabrun Jameel (beautiful patience) followed by Wallahul Mustaaan.

According to the commentators of the Quran, Wallahul Mustaan is used to call for Allaah’s help when you find yourself in impossible situations, when people team up against you to defend their lies, when people accuse you of something false, when you have given your best and desperately waiting for desired results, when you feel you’re in a situation where there’s no way out. It’s literally saying to Allaah that I have given my best and now I am taking a backseat, I want You to take charge of the driving seat and solve this matter with your Divine intervention.

And patience automatically becomes beautiful when with all your heart, mind, and soul you leave the matter on Allaah.

Sharing it with you all because I thought it might brighten someone’s day. Don’t worry if the situation seems impossible, remember you’re asking the One who just have to say ‘Kun’ and it is.

You are asking the One who calls Himself, Al-Fattah. Who creates a way out when there seems to be no way. So take a backseat and let Allaah do the rest.

Wallahul Mustaan - “Allaah is the one sought for help”

واللہ المستعان 🖤
