the religious storylines on ds9 are crazy if you really think about it. imagine being in the mall and seeing the gates of heaven open outside auntie anne's pretzels

the religious stuff really is so crazy tho bc like. its real. all of it. the temple the prophets all of it
and they chose just some guy to be emissary
and he has to just try and be normal about it and do his job
and now hes having a crisis of faith over a religion he is the spiritual leader of and also knew nothing about a few weeks ago
