Disclaimer: As ghostofthedesert pointed out, the "Velociraptors as scavengers theory" is not universally agreed upon. In fact, there's strong evidence indicating they were primarily hunters, though it's doubtful that they were pack-hunters as suggested in Jurassic Park.
