I don't think they know. It's like when people have been together for a long time they become attuned to each other (they don't know how they finish each others sentences and mystically know what the other one wanted for dinner) but with them it works more like when you try to stick opposing magnets together. They cannot possibly "unite" even if they are stuck together and depend on each other really, more than they would ever ever ever ever admit.

No one actually knows what's up with Poshe and Spooky because everytime you ask you get answers like "What are you, a cop?" "What'll be funnier to you" "only on Tuesdays" or one of them claiming they're together while the other denies it (the roles change each time, even if you ask less than a minute later) or other similar things
no one knows why they answer like this and honestly, i don't think they know either
