I feel like fic writers (me) sometimes overlook the sheer hilarity that WWX and LWJ are Parents in the way that no one else in the MDZS universe seems to want to be. Like can you imagine a time travel AU where LWJ and WWX wake up 15 in cloud recesses, see all their peers and are like,,,, children. Everyone is children. 15 year old Jiang Cheng? A baby. 19 (?) year old Jiang Yanli? A child. Just 15 year old LWJ and WWX aggressively parenting their friends and family because damn it clearly none of the other adults are gonna do it
