It's going to be wild when Gwayne shows up in Season 2

Jaehaerys' last words to Viserys before he died:

Dragon-Shifter Rhaenicent AU Lore
Original AU is this post for context
Despite the fact that they had come to Dragonstone two hundred years following the Doom of Valyria, the name Targaryen was not one known by the people of Westeros. House Targaryen was the only family of dragonlords to escape the Doom with the blood running through their veins giving them the ability to change from man to dragon. The people of Westeros had seen dragons flying above the sky on the island but no one dared to get close. Over time, that became the story, dragons lived on the isolated island. No men. Just dragons.
The humans in Westeros have thus given names to the dragons they have spotted over the years, unaware of the other form laying in wait underneath the scales.

Rhaenyra Targaryen is the eldest of her father, Viserys, the self-proclaimed king of Dragonstone. Her mother died in childbirth when she was quite young. Her father's hasty marriage only a few months later caused her to run away, during this period many humans reported sightings of her near Oldtown. The realm knows her as a somewhat small curious yellow dragon named Syrax.

Aegon Targaryen is the eldest son of Viserys, king of Dragonstone. He and his younger siblings are the product of Viserys' second marriage to a human woman. While rare, these unions would take place if no other female dragons were alive. Aegon has rarely flown to the seven kingdoms in years after his mother's death. The realm knows him only as a beautiful golden dragon named Sunfyre.

Helaena Targaryen is the second daughter of Viserys Targaryen of Dragonstone. While her mother was human, Helaena is the only Targaryen who has the gift of prophecy, a rare but valued trait in dragons, though there are times she keeps these prophecies to herself for unknown reasons. The realm knows her as a quiet pale blue dragon named Dreamfyre.

Aemond Targaryen is the second son of the king of Dragonstone, Viserys. During a flight, a then-young Aemond was attacked and shot in the eye with an arrow, the injury left him without an eye in his human form, as a dragon he kept his eye intact but is still blind in it. The people of the realm fear him as a massive disgruntled dragon named Vhagar.

Daeron Targaryen is the youngest child of King Viserys Targaryen. Unlike his siblings, he doesn't remember his human mother and this fuels his curiosity about humans. He and his half-sister Rhaenyra venture to the realm most often compared to the others in House Targaryen. Humans know him as the swift cobalt blue dragon, Tessarion.

Viserys Targaryen is the fifth king of the Targaryen dynasty in Dragonstone, while his ancestors came two centuries ago they had not cemented themselves into the world of man until Aegon the 1st. Viserys took the Lady Aemma to wed but following her death in childbirth, he swiftly stole away a lady from the reach to marry. The decision came at the cost of his relationship with his eldest child, Rhaenyra, and the death of his second wife after years of being miserable, cost him his relationship with his other children. He has not been named by the realm as he has not been spotted by humans.

My Mothers Rage - Helaena Targaryen

Summary: Helaena doesn´t talk much, but she sees everything. She sees how her father mistreats her mother. Heleana sees her mother slowly withering away and burning up in her anger. Her mother can't do anything, but Heleana sees and she doesn't forget.
Words: 880

Have fun :)

Helaena doesn´t talk much, but she sees. She sees everything. She always watched her parents, she tooks a long time to understand it. Never understood why her mother recoils from her father's touch, why her mother doesn't smile like she used to. She sees how the rage behind her mothers eyes explore, whenever her father speaks. But her Mother doesn´t say anything so Helaena is also silent. And one day she finally understands. Her father is the reason for her mothers suffering. Finally Helaena sees and understands.
Helaena sees her father dying in front of her eyes. He's slowly rotting in front of everyone, but Helaena can't bring herself to care. She sees her mother withering away before her eyes. When Helaena was younger, her mother was the most beautiful woman in the world. She is still beautiful, but a sadness has entered her eyes. And Helaena cares. She wants her mother back. Helaena doesn't say anything, but she sees her mother struggling. But her father doesn't care. He has to see how mother is doing. How desperate she is, how unhappy she is. Helaena sees it. But she doesn´t know what to do. She doesn´t know what she can do.
The first time Helaena sees her mother's anger, the first time everyone sees it, is the fateful night at Driftmarkt. When her brother closed his eye and got his dragon. But her father ignores the anger, ignores her mother's anger, the unfairness that happened and in that night Helaena feels hate. She hates her father for not caring about his mother's feelings. But Helaena says nothing.
Helaena sees how her mother's lips turn into a thin line every time father talks about his favorite child. Rhaenyra, her big sister. Helaena trys to love her, she really had tried. But her Sister was absent half of her life, and when she is there she only brings her and her mother problems. She know her Mother ones loved Rhaenyra, but this is long over. Whenever the princess´s name is mentiones bitterness comes in her Mothers eyes and sadness. Grief over her lost friend. Father took her from mother. And Helaena hates him for it.
Helaena thinks about her mother and her father. Were they ever happy? "Do you think mother and father are like this?" she asks Aegon, after he laid with her and kissed her tenderly on the naked shoulders. Sweat over both their bodies, and a calm feeling in her heart. Aegon grimaces. "You really want to talk about mother and father? Now?" Helena looks at him. The bedchambers are dark, only a few candles and the moon light up the room. "Do you think he loves her?" "Can he love anyone except himself and our beloved sister?" Aegon asks with venom in his voice. "I think he loves us too." "Maybe, but not enough. Not like we wanted to be loved, as we should be loved." She knows he is right, so she doesn't say anything else. But she wishes for her mother that she can feel like Helaena feels. That her mother feels loved. And she hates her father for not loving enough.
Helaena never asks her mother, but she sees it in her eyes when she watch how Aegon sits with the twins, and read to them. Helaena knows, that her father never did this to her or her siblings. She wounders if her mother wish he would. Did he ever love her? Did he ever care about her? Helaena looks at Aegon and she is happy that he cares. Could she be like her mother? Could she feel like this? So lonely, and so angry.
Helaena sees the hate as her father screams at Aemond. She didn´t listen and doesn´t know why he is screaming. She is far too focused on her mothers tense face. She bites her lip and her hand twitches. Helaena sees that her mother wants to say something, but she swallows her words. A knot forms in Helaenas chest, she looks at her father and feels that hate againg. She almost says something, but she takes her mothers example and remains silent.
Helaena never says a word to anyone, but she sees her mother's eyes, when she thinks no one is looking. She then allows herself to look at Ser Criston. Heleana knows that her Mother never cheats on her father but she can't forget how her Mother looks at him, and how she hopes that some day, her mother will find happiness.
Helaena sees the war simmering beneath the surface. She hears it in her mother's words when she talks about Aegon. About his claim. She sees it in the way her grandfather talks to certain lords. But her father doesn't see it. He thinks everything is perfect. But it isn't. Helaena sees the war, but her father doesn't see it. And then he is dead. And Helaena is relieved. Her mother is finally free, maybe now she can finally be happy. Maybe now her mother doesn´t have to be angry anymore. But Helaena is angry. She is full of anger and hate for her father. He had torn the family apart. He didn´t love her family enough, and now Helaena has to bear the consequence. And this is war.
bastard witch of indeterminate age: did you like my. potion. 😝
15 year old niecewife in my ear: ooooooh daemon you wanted to fuck your brother sooo bad but the closest thing you could get was me and you don’t even like who you made me be sucks to suck you fucking idiot
second wife who incinerated herself and our unborn child in front of me: i’m also here
Okay so to everyone who was here for the original post, here’s basically how Alicent and Laenor get married in my lavender marriage au:
The entire thing starts because Alicent catches Laenor and Joffrey fucking in a secluded part of the castle a few weeks before Aemma dies. The boys only realize they’ve been caught because Alicent runs away from them like her ass is on fire. That girl had no idea gay male sex was an option in life and now needs to reevaluate everything in her life after catching them.
Laenor then spends the next few weeks trying to find a way to get her alone because guess what. Fucking in a secluded but also public area is not a good strategy if you want to keep your gay love affair a secret. So now Laenor is hoping to convince Alicent to stay quiet about what she saw because his dad seems to think he'll grow out of it (do not attack me, this literally happens in canon) and he doesn’t want anyone to know yet since it might impact who he’ll get married to eventually. Meanwhile Alicent is desperately trying to forget that she ever saw anything and doesn’t tell Otto about seeing Laenor and Joffrey because let's be real. This man said “childhood companions” like it was a slur in that one scene, so she knows that her father would do something with this information. Alicent does not want to be the reason Joffrey and Laenor are in trouble for their relationship. Nevermind that she’s suddenly having the realization that women liking women isn’t that far of a stretch after all.
Unfortunately, to everyone else in the world, it looks like Laenor is trying to court her and that Alicent is just trying to be very polite about his interest in her since she never wants to be alone in a room with him unless they’re around other people. Which is something that is totally normal and not weird at all. Why would you say otherwise?
Then Aemma dies and Otto sends her to see Viserys in his room and Alicent is now very stressed about something else in her life because she wants to do what her father says, but she also doesn’t want to betray Rhaenyra.
So during those six months after Aemma dies - which is apparently how much times passes between Aemma’s death and when Viserys decides to marry Alicent according to a HOTD article I read - Alicent, like in canon, is sent by her father to Viserys’ chambers and desperately hopes that her father’s ambitions won’t happen and that Viserys will simply see her as person that is supporting him in his grief.
(Life Hack: If you ever want to read an article and it says you have to make an account to read the rest of it, just go back to the google page you found it on, right click the link, and save the link as an HTML document. That lets you read the article without having to make an account. I found this out from someone on the internet and damn did it help when I wanted to access any account restricted article. Anyways, back to the plot.)
So to counteract that and make it so she’s less appealing to Viserys, Alicent always mentions Laenor and how fond of him she is during their talks. She also mentions how worried she is about Rhaenyra and her position as heir because there seems to be so many people that seem to be under the impression that they can replace her by having Viserys marry one of their daughters and convince him change his heir to one of the possible children he might have with those daughters.
Meanwhile, Laenor is absolutely losing his mind because all of a sudden Alicent is always around him and receptive to interacting with him, even though literally weeks before she avoided being around him like the plague. During this she also manages to wring out of him the fact that his parents (mainly Corlys, let's be real) are talking about potentially marrying Laena to Viserys and that he hates that idea as she’s way too young in his eyes for that. Eventually Alicent manages to find a way to be alone with Laenor and make him swear to secrecy about what she'll tell him because telling anyone might mean that his sister will actually have to marry Viserys. He does and she fills him in on what her father wants and what she’s attempting to do, and that she needs his cooperation to get him to at least appear like they’re courting.
So Alicent and Laenor put up the appearance that they’re at least attracted to each other to get people talking, which totally doesn’t ignite jealousy in Rhaenyra at the idea of Alicent being in love with her cousin. Cue Rhaenyra absolutely doing everything in her power to make Laenor appear like a loser to Alicent and the rest of the court. Alicent makes sure to get her to stop that shit real quick and tells Rhaenyra that she and Laenor are only pretending to be in love in order to avoid having to marry someone that would disrespect Laenor’s preference for men and disregard Alicent’s autonomy. Alicent also mentions that possibly marrying Laenor means that Alicent and Rhaenyra will be allowed to see each other very frequently as she will be Laenor’s wife and the Velaryons are often at court since they are related to the royal family. So now they have Rhaenyra on board.
Eventually the night before that one small council meeting where in canon Viserys announces that he’ll marry Alicent, Alicent “confesses” to Viserys that she’s in love with Laenor and that she wants to marry him, but that her father would never allow Alicent to marry Laenor because he and Lord Corlys dislike each other. She also lets it “slip” that Otto is very adamant that Viserys must have a male heir despite the fact that Rhaenyra has already been made heir, and that he sees Alicent as a potential bride for Viserys despite her unwillingness to marry her best friend’s father. She also sprinkles in the fact that Rhaenyra would be devastated at the idea of her father remarrying, especially if the bride in question were her best friend or even her little cousin (Yeah fuck you Corlys, you’re on thin ice for that and the grow out of it comment), and the fact that surely his wife would want him to defend his daughter’s claim to the Iron Throne from potential usurpers, which is something that would definitely happen if he had a son.
This causes Viserys to absolutely lose his shit, but Alicent calms him down and he sends her away from his chambers. However, not before Viserys hints that he would not dissolve a marriage between a highborn lady and lord if they eloped and consummated the marriage. So instead of heading straight to her rooms, Alicent instead books it to Laenor’s chambers. The two of them run off to a sept and convince a septon to marry them with a few commoners as their witnesses because they can’t take any nobles in fear of being stopped (and to also have the commoners spread the fact that Alicent and Laenor eloped). Then she and Laenor head off to Laenor’s chambers to consummate the marriage with the help of Joffrey, who they had stay in Laenor’s chambers so that no one would get him in trouble or notice that he was in the room with them during the consummation, and to have Alicent stay over so that people could catch them together in the morning and spread the news of her “ruined reputation”.
The next morning Laena bursts into Laenor’s chambers like she always does and “catches” them before running off to tell Rhaenys the way all little siblings do. So then Rhaenys and Corlys show up, as does Otto; he caught wind of the situation through a servant he paid off to spy on the Velaryons. Once there Otto starts shaming Alicent about her ruined reputation and Laenor retorts that she didn’t ruin anything as he married her before he bedded her. Otto then explodes at the pair when Laenor says that and Corlys rushes to defend his son against all the stuff Otto is saying and threatening him with.
Eventually their argument gets so loud that a servant rushes to get Viserys and a few guards since they’re afraid that the two lords will resort to violence. Trailing after them is Rhaenyra and the Small Council, as the meeting was supposed to start half an hour ago but certain people were missing and needed to be found. So now the entire Small Council, Rhaneyra, and Viserys are at the doorway of Laenor’s room while a furious Otto and Corlys trade insults. Meanwhile Rhaenys sees how afraid Alicent and Laenor are and rushes to the pair’s defense (because they need someone in their corner that isn’t shaming the other party), saying that perhaps the two wouldn’t have resorted to eloping if Otto and Corlys weren't always at odds. Seeing the King, Otto rushes to demand that he have the septon reverse the marriage, but Viserys reveals that he knows about Otto’s plan to make Alicent marry him and how he knows that she wished to marry Laenor instead. He then fires Otto from being Hand and sends him packing to Oldtown, approving of Laenor and Alicent’s marriage as a final insult to Otto. He also firmly informs the small council that he will not be getting remarried, that Rhaenyra will remain his heir, and that anyone who objects otherwise is speaking of treason.
So there you go, the outline for a story that I’m most likely going to write in non-linear bits. In this world Alicent is Lady of Driftmark, Laenor and Joffrey get to be happy, and Viserys prioritizes making sure that Rhaenyra’s claim to the throne is secure. Also somewhere down the line in this universe Rhaenyra and Alicent get their shit together and realize they’re in love with each other, and Rhaenyra gets to marry Harwin because Daemon never takes her to the brothel and so she gets to pick her husband and be the polyamorous bi queen we all love.

house of the dragon x the unequal marriage (vasili pukirev)
HII your jaehaera x aegon iii has taken over my brain like OMGGG him & jaehaera >>>> but my request (if your still taking them) is how team green and black see how Aegon iii is infatuated/fixated/in love with Jaehaera. it's moments like Aegon talking to his brothers until he suddenly goes silent, his eyes tracking Jaehaera who's passing by. Or Jaehaera dancing with another man and his jealousy. No matter the situation the way he looks at her is the same. Gentle and tender but intense. Like I need this man to be a devout simp 😩🫡
a/n: thank you so much love!! they have genuinely took over my brain i'm so happy i'm not alone in this lmaoo. now i didn't really have time to write the past few days sadly (which is why other reqs are still pending - sorry guys!), but for this request i actually had something in my drafts that fit to it. i am writing a chaptered fic au for jaehaegon (...and jaehaerys/viserys ii lol) and i've been testing writing interactions for them to get the vibe i want... it changed a lot since then, but this was one of the test fics. i hope you will enjoy it! this is viserys ii pov, but there are lots of mentions to other characters.

It is deep into the night’s feast when he notices Aegon playing with the ruby ring upon his pinky.
Well. Viserys supposes the more proper word is fiddle, though his brother is hardly a restless man. He is far more fitting into the description of rigid, filling the black of his doublets with broad shoulders of deliberate posture and a sense of responsibility.
Or at least so he had been, until their estranged family had come for a visit. Their uncle and aunt had come out of the woodworks that had been Oldtown to request to build a Keep to the west of it. That had been for their son, who had nothing to inherit, as it stands. Viserys’s mother had allowed them to make their case, his father had allowed them to see his smirks, but nothing yet had been set in stone.
It is an art, to convince those who never planned on being convinced. While Prince Aegon the Elder and Princess Helaena had been mostly unsuccessful in their endeavours, their daughter Jaehaera, had entered the court with prideful flare to her step and an ever-determined gaze. One could not say she had charmed his mother and father, but Viserys thinks they had hardly been the ones she had her mind on setting her claws in.
Instead, his own brother, usually so clear-headed and mindful, had his dark purple gaze almost unwaveringly on her. A genuine fool, he thinks. Viserys does not know what the witch has done to make him so dim-witted, but gods be good, she had known her plays.
While her twin and younger brother had sat nearby him at the table for the better of the event, Jaehaera had entered the feast late, much after everyone’s introductions. The announcement of her arrival had music forced to a stop, setting the majority of eyes to the entrance.
A lady pleasing on the eyes would steal a man’s thought, that is evident with his own brother, but a lady with strong enough wit would steal a man’s mind. And as music restarted with the appearance of her smile, and men flocked by her for a dance, Aegon could not be more obvious he had not been at peace, drinking vintage he had prior declared abhorrent.
In truth, Aegon the Younger paralleled Aegon the Elder with the sudden swallow of drinks. And while his brother had been staunchly, unabashedly, moronically staring at Jaehaera, her father had been dead on Aegon the Younger himself, looking just about ready to toss his goblet at him.
The atmosphere from her brothers hadn’t been much better. Sitting between Jaehaerys and Aegon the Younger, Viserys had felt a proper wall of separation. The man beside him may have known he needed to keep quiet if he wanted to get his damned Keep, but he had been looking at his brother with intense scrutiny for days now.
Little Maelor on the other hand had the gall to laugh while remaining within his mask of an innocent lamb. And when he next does, it is at the same time Viserys wishes to sink into his chair and disappear into it from embarrassment.
Some golden-haired man had invited Jaehaera to a dance. Not an unexpected occurrence; dancing does happen in feasts. But while his brother had attempted to busy himself with playing with his food like a child, he lifted his head again when the dance ended - only to see said man holding onto Jaehaera’s gem earrings while speaking to her in proximity that is questionable — and there, his brother had to stand. Literally.
Jaehaera looked towards Aegon in the eye then, as everyone else did, but within capturing her gaze, his mouth had become voiceless despite it being opened ajar.
And he stood there uncomfortably, unable to even cuss the man whose offense he stood up against to begin with. As if he’s going to make a fucking toast, or something. I cannot believe this. Baela had told him and Jace alike that she thinks they may be ought to bind their brother to some post to prevent him from acting up. Jace, kind crown-prince he is, completely dismissed it, but now looking at him, he thinks he too just realized their sister had been right.
Meanwhile mother looked properly frazzled herself, sharing a look with his father that had been so pointed, even King Consort Daemon himself realized he had to give a damn. “Continue the music,” his mother had told the musicians not far away from them, while father had gestured to Aegon to come his way, and now.
Whatever point words their father had decided to rebuke Aegon with, his brother had received them with properly flushed cheeks, should it be from the embarrassment, or the drinking, of whatever blood that didn’t manage to make it to his brain.
Aegon had soon left the table for the grand floor, finding himself some girl to dance with instead. A daughter of one of their loyal courtiers, he believes. Viserys releases a sigh of relief when he sees that. Perhaps now his blood pressure can calm.
His cousin — Jaehaerys, that is — seems to release a lousy scoff.
Viserys turns to him with a frown. “You have something to say?”
Viserys will admit; he is defensive of his brother, as foolish as he may have acted these days. He would not hear giggles or scoffs at him. Jaehaerys, on his part, is unfazed, staring yet still on the floor, and at the dance that has partners swapping left and right.
“There is little to say in this situation, no?” Jaehaerys answers. “Even little that can be done, or prevented, don’t you agree?”
Viserys doesn’t bother acting the fool, but his cousin better not either. “On your side, mayhaps,” he answers. “Your sister will lose you your Keep if this continues, you know this?”
Jaehaerys eyes grow daggered, and he lowers his voice. “There isn’t going to be any damn Keep given from your parents, even if my own ones’ grovel,” he says cutthroat. Viserys stares at him. He knows well enough, huh? “Don’t assume me stupid. Nor should you assume my sister stupid. This had been a losing game since arrival, for the lot of my family… but she’ll cut her losses even in the most futile of dances.”
When Viserys looks back at the dance floor, their siblings are dancing together. Viserys licks his lips. There is something there that can’t be prevented, perhaps, but also something that won’t quite be approved by all of their parents. What would it do, in the long run? Nothing.
“And throwing herself at my brother would be cutting her losses?” he asks back, more sincere than he even planned on sounding. He even tries to pick his words carefully. “It would not do her good either, to end up seeming a… seductress.”
Jaehaerys tsks. “No need to dance around it. I’ll say it as it is, fully and wholly — she has no plans on being your brother’s whore,” he brings a hand forward; the one with six fingers, and lays above the back of Viserys’s hand on the table. His fingers fill the spaces between his, the little extra pinky standing up purposefully. Viserys freezes for a moment, and nearly takes his hand back when Jaehaerys opens his mouth again. “It only takes one extra step to make honey from enticing, to trapping.”
The extra finger curls against Viserys’s palm as Jaehaerys intertwined their fingers, squeezing lightly with a smile. Viserys swallows and only manages to remember to snatch away his hand when Jaehaerys’s chuckle comes along with the brush of his thumb against the side of his palm.
What the fuck. He rises himself from his chair, needing some damn distance. Whatever the fuck his cousins have in mind, they live in their own world, as do their father and their mother.
By the time he manages to absolve himself from the almost scorching feeling of Jaehaerys’s hand on his, the feast is over, and they all go their own ways, Viserys himself remaining rushing to his room.
The morning after, when he sees Jaehaerys’s face again, he has a look in his eye that is ever-knowing. And for a moment, he thinks in mortification it is all about him — but it is not. It is only then, that he starts understanding what her brother truly meant the night prior.
Jaehaera is standing by her twin, smiling absentmindedly and fiddling with a ruby ring on her bony thumb, and his brother, his dear, foolish brother, stares at her with his bare fingers and doting eyes, ready only to give more.

“- named Viserys after his grandsire. The child was smaller and less robust than his brother, Aegon, and his Velaryon half-brothers, but proved to be a most precocious child...-” Fire and Blood yeah still getting around posting again but it prob’s gonna be in my own time, but I hope to improve a little bit.

What if the union of King Viserys and Alicent Hightower never took place? what if Rhaenyra Targaryen had a Older sister who was kept hidden in the palace by the Targaryen family due to her innocent soul and ethereal face?
What if she was finally introduced to the realm only to be betrothed to the rogue Prince who had his eyes on her from the beginning?

Almost all of her clothes and accessories (and her siblings’) Yevgeniya designs and/or makes herself. She can weave, sew, embroider, jewel… and do those things so excellently that her products are a luxury even among nobility.
