in their eyes, you are a beauty. A beauty which they could only meet once in their whole life time, and if needed they'd let everyone perish to their demise but not yours. They are ready to light the world in a matter of seconds for you - it was because you loved them, genuinely. You were there to pick up their pieces, you were there to calm them. Like sun to moon.

They are not some kind of hero as people make them out to be, in fact they are selfish. Selfish enough to not push that person away who actually loved them. Selfish enough to dance with you in the ruins of the world.

They have suffered enough, every time losing a person, every single time watching as another person gets slayed. Yet, you are here standing, breathing, laughing. A laugh which makes their heart skips beat.

To think of giving you up to someone? for some greater good-? They know that you'd want that- in fact they are well aware that you are ready to sacrifice yourself. And they can't let that happen.

Knowing you will not be remembered, even worse you not by their side. And expecting to find someone else who isn't you. How could you even think about that? How can they meet someone as perfect as you?
