I just wanted to take a sec to thank all of you guys for sticking with me. Like I mentioned in this post last month, some not so great things have happened lately and this blog has been a great distraction throughout all of it. You people interacting with me (even just by liking or reblogging my stuff) has helped a lot, giving me something positive to think of.

Long story short, two months ago my dad was diagnosed with cancer, and the initial prognosis was really not a good one. I still live at home and am very close with my dad, so the news obviously made me feel really torn up. Thankfully, I live in a country with universal healthcare and on closer investigation it wasn't quite as bad as it looked at first. He's going to get operated on Tuesday and it looks like he's got a good chance of recovering fully. But things were really scary there for a bit, and I just want to say thank you.

You're all wonderful. Thank you for helping me through some rough times. 💙
