Dirk x Anxious!Supportive!Reader x Jake

💚 God, Jake is so happy!! He's so happy you love him back - and Dirk, too, heh - but mostly him!!! He's so glad that you're so supportive and understanding, and even encouraging of his behavior towards you! And it's such a relief to not have to do something drastic like kidnap you or anything like that. You really ARE perfect!

🧡 Dirk was happy too, don't get him wrong - ecstatic, actually, borderline euphoric - but unlike Jake, he felt more… Guilty. He loved you so much, and felt horrible about taking advantage of you like this. It broke his heart. But his need for you to be all his (and Jake's) was far more overpowering than his moral quandaries.

💚 They're more than willing to stay inside with you - all day, every day, FOREVER!!! - just curled up together on the couch or bed, with you smushed between them. Jake is more vocal during this, running his fingers through your hair and telling you how much he loves you and complimenting you, waxing poetic about your love. Dirk, however, is much more quiet. When he's holding you, snuggled into your side, and breathing in you scent, that is his own personal heaven. It's perfect. You're perfect.

🧡 If someone comes looking around, asking where you are, Dirk will most likely be the one to confront them. It'll be casual, and if they ask him if he knows where you are, he'll deny it. He doesn't know why he needs to lie. Neither him nor Jake kidnapped you - you came to them of your own free will. But… he doesn't want anyone trying to see you but him or Jake. You're theirs… Plus, he doesn't want anyone getting hurt because of him, because Jake isn't as much of a pacifist as Dirk.

💚 If Jake sees that this person is still looking around for you, he won't hesitate to disappear into the night and come back bathed in blood. A body, almost completely filled with bullets and dotted with bullet holes will be found the next day. It feels so good to Jake to kill for you!!

🧡 Also, these boys have been isolated for most of their lives, so don't expect to get even a second alone. And they're both just as clingy and anxious, so they understand how you feel! If you ever get upset or anxious, please vent to them! They want to help and love you so much! All they want is for you to feel loved and happy!

Poe had a mission. A dangerous mission. He had to go. But the look you were giving him right now, it broke his heart into a million tiny pieces. Especially since he couldn't kiss away the tears that were brimming in your eyes. "It's too dangerous," you said. "You're going into enemy territory. They know you, for fuck's sake your face is plastered on posters all over the galaxy."

All he wanted was to draw you into his arms and kiss the top of your head. "Hey, hey," he said, placing his hand on your shoulder. "I'm gonna be okay, I promise."

Your eyes look up at him, pleading. "Poe you don't understand, I can't lose you."

He nearly broke at that. He had told himself to hold off from too much physical affection with you. After all, you weren't his, and the gentle touches were more than his heart could handle. But he decided that this was the exception to his rule. He pulled you into his arms, resting his chin on you. He let his hands rub your back, inhaling the scent of your shampoo.

You had come straight to him when Finn informed you of the mission that Black Squadron was about to set out on. When Poe saw you like this, hair damp and messy from your evening shower, feet bare and mismatched pajamas thrown haphazardly on your body, he took a second to imagine what it would be like to see you like this under more normal circumstances. It was selfish, he knew. But he wanted you. Wanted you to be his.

"Please don't leave," you murmured against him.

He stayed silent for a bit, just rubbing your back and holding you as tight as he could. "I have to go, I-" he sighed, resigned. "I have to go."

It was hard to pull away from you. It was hard to walk side by side with you to your station in mission control. It was hard to let go of your hand, you had grabbed his as you walked through the halls, holding tight as if somehow that would keep him here. It was hard to leave you there and go to his ship.

When he sat down in the cockpit he switched his comms to a seemingly blank frequency and waited. The two of you had claimed this frequency as your own, as a way to crack jokes and make fun of each other away from prying ears. You were his best friend, and the truth was he loved you. But he didn't want to lose you. He didn't want this friendship to end.

"Poe?" Your voice was shaky as it came through his headset.

"Hey, if I don't make it back you'll finally get full custody of beebs." 

He regretted it as soon as he said it. Your voice was horrified when you answered. "Stars, don't say that-"

"I'm sorry," he replied sheepishly. Humor ws his go to coping mechanism, and he was having to do an awful lot of coping right now. "I'm just- I'm sorry. I'm going to come home. I promise."

"Don't make promises you can't keep."

"I can keep it. I will keep it. And I'll come back and keep on annoying you for as long as I live. It's gonna be okay."

"Poe you don't understand-" there was a pause in which Poe heard you take a deep breath, steadying yourself like you always did before revealing something important, something personal. "I love you."

It was radio silence from Poe. He knew you must be freaking out on the other end of the line, but he just didn't know what to say. "Shit. Shit, I-"

"I'm sorry I know-"

"I love you too."

There was commotion through his headset, and you told him it was time for takeoff. But none of it mattered. He knew now more than ever that he needed to return.

Your heart raced as you saw the cockpit of Black One pop open, and then you were racing too, running as fast as you could towards Poe. He hopped down, skipping the last few steps on the ladder and opening his arms for you. He smelled like sweat and oil, his hair was matted and greasy but you didn't care.

"Can I kiss you?" he asked.

You didn't bother to respond and instead took his face in your hands, crashing your lips to his. The kiss was searing, and it was everything you'd ever wanted.

its so freeing when you realize you can literally write whatever you want 

the year is 2023 it's time to admit stretch marks are hot. not the "I love your body despite all the ~imperfections~" kind of hot, I mean mouth wateringly hot, i mean i want rip those jeans off you and touch them hot, i mean i want to kiss your sides and thighs and everywhere else they are hot. stretch marks are hot yall, it's time to say it!!

I think Deadpool v Wolverine is healing toxic American men. They're so happy to be watching their big Marvel film, and they're giggling over the gay jokes, feeling free to do so because straight (or at least married to a woman), buff, tall, handsome Ryan Reynolds is making them, and so they see it as "okay." It's okay to openly lust over how sexy Hugh Jackman is because it's Ryan Reynolds doing it. And he's not implying that anyone is "gay" because of it. It's just like it's a natural thing. Deadpool has a super hot girlfriend. He also is super into pegging and flirting with dudes, and also killing and doing badass punching and things that the dudebros like. It's wild being in a theater full of these dudes, and watching them giggle about Hugh Jackman's shiny pecs.

That's how it should be. It's awesome that there's a movie out there that, mostly, makes the dudes feel free to enjoy it.
