Is MCU fandom still alive in anno Domini 2024 or am I, as always, completely late?

Redemption
Bucky x reader, Morgan & Tony Stark, Alpine!
A/N: Been sitting with this idea for a while and I finally decided to write it. This doesn’t follow the events in the movies. Always wanted to see something where Bucky feels like he redeems himself with Tony, and Tony accepts Bucky. The ending felt a little rushed, might go back and edit this later but I hope you enjoy it! Please like, comment, reblog <3
Warnings: Angst (some violence), fluff

Bucky padded down the hall, wondering how come the left side of his bed was cold and empty this morning, though he had a sneaking suspicion of why.
“Alpine? Where’d you g-”
Bucky smiled, shaking his head as he entered the living room, watching Morgan set up her tea party, her stuffed animals and Avengers actions figures all lined in a row. In the middle, was a large fluffy cushion with the special guest of honour.
“Did you want Friskies or Temptations today Alpine?” Morgan held up two treat bags she had snuck out of Bucky’s room, nodding when Alpine pawed at the chicken treats.
“Chicken for you, shawarma for daddy’s friends, cheese burgers for daddy, Mr. Snuggle, you’ll have to share with me, I only have 1 chocolate chip cookie”
Morgan put 3 teats in a dish for Alpine, setting it in front of her. Alpine sniffed the bowl, waiting for Morgan to give her permission to eat.
“Let’s see, scotch for daddy, Thor I have Asgardian mead for you, and for Alpine- oh! I forgot your water bowl, let me go get it!”
Morgan got up, making a bee line to Bucky’s room, turning back to make sure the little white ball of fur stayed in her seat.
“Just give me a second Alpi- Oof!” She collided with a large wall of muscle, two strong hands safely catching her before she stumbled back.
“Hi Morgan” Bucky smiled softly, setting her back down “Whatcha doing?”
“Hi Mr. Barnes” grinned sheepishly, knowing he was looking for his fur baby “I’m having a tea party! But not a boring one, we can have alcohol! Did you want to join us, Alpine is the special guest”
Bucky snorted, nodding his head; he’d noticed Alpine getting slightly fuller from the many tea parties she’d attended but he didn’t mind. Alpine certainly didn’t seem to mind, enjoying the pampering and head scratches she got for hours on end.

Description : Radhika "Radha" Kapoor wasn't the ideal Stark child, and she knew that. She wasn't interested in science or math and she absolutely hated violence of any kind. But even with her "imperfections", how hard was it for her father to care about her for once?
A / N : This is dedicated to all of the other desi kids who search up “desi marvel” on tumblr and find very little :( I might do another part to this, but I’m not sure ( read : I am definitely doing another part to this ).

THE FIRST time Radha met her father, she was holding her Jaggu stuffed toy close to her chest ─ so what if she was twelve? Tony Stark had jogged down the stairs, looking at his phone, accompanied by a strawberry blonde woman who had taken one look at her and gasped softly, her eyes already shining with something like affection.
Tony looked up at her, and she saw nothing.
“Hi,” he said, the lines sounding plastic and rehearsed. “I’m Tony, your dad. Now you’re gonna be staying at the Avengers Tower with me and the other Avengers. Cool?” She nodded, looking down as the cement floor in front of the tower.
She missed home. She missed her maa, Rahul, Mumbai, even Karan mama! Sure, she video-called them every week, but it just wasn’t the same.
And her father didn’t even make an effort to connect with her. Whenever he did, it was forced and fake.
“So, Radha,” he said during one dinner with the rest of the Avengers, butchering her name completely. She gritted her teeth. Her name was one of the things she loved most about herself, yet this man didn’t even try to say it correctly. “What do you like to do?”
The rest of the team looked at her expectantly. She smiled a little. “I love history, singing, and watching movies, and art. I have a friend back home ─ uh, in India, and we decided that we would open a museum of Indian art together.” While the rest of the team looked sad at her slip-up, and interested at the rest of her words, Tony rolled his eyes, and her heart sank.
She looked down at her hands. She had a piece of roti in her hand, ready to eat with her aloo gobhi. She set the roti down and pushed her chair back with a slight screech. “Um, I think I’ll go to bed now.” She picked up her plate and speed walked into the kitchen, quickly finishing the rest of her food ─ she hated wasting ─ and placing it in the sink.
On the walk back to her room, she heard a snippet of conversation from the living room. “Art. And history? Seriously?” She swallowed.
“Come on, Tony.” Someone else said exasperatedly. Perhaps Bruce or Steve? It didn’t matter though. She ran to her room and slammed the door shut. She collapsed onto her bed, crying.
“Maa, mujhe tumhari bahut yaad aa rahi hai. Mujhe yahan nahi rehna hai. Karan mama, mujhe ghar le ke jao.” Mom, I’m missing you a lot. I don’t want to stay here, Karan uncle, take me home.
The next morning, she woke up to someone knocking on her door. “J.A.R.V.I.S., open the door, please.” She managed to sit up just as the door swung open. It was Natasha.
“Hi,” the older woman said. Radha stared at her, still not fully comprehending why she was here.
“Hello?” Her voice turned up at the end so that it sounded like a question. Natasha chuckled.
“You said that you liked to watch movies?” Radha nodded shyly, surprised that someone had remembered. “Well, every Friday, we have a movie night, and we take turns choosing. Would you like to choose today?” Radha hesitated. She would love to choose, but. . .
“Tony won’t be there,” Natasha promised. “He’s always in his lab anyways.” Radha smiled.
“Okay.” That night, Radha, Natasha, Bruce, Steve, Clint, Thor ─ and Pepper, a pleasant surprise ─ gathered in the living room in front of the television. Radha inserted the dvd into the dvd player, and stepped back, smiling. She sat down next to Natasha on the couch and covered herself in her blanket, watching the familiar opening song for Hum Tum come on.
As she fell asleep on Natasha’s shoulder while Karan and Rhea reunited onscreen, the woman looked over Radha at Steve. He looked back at her worriedly, but determined. If Tony wasn’t going to be a parent to Radha, then they would. Their ragtag team of heroes would take care of this girl who deserved so much more.
And when she left for Wakanda with the rogues three years later, Tony would come to know how much he was missing out on.

i was in my room reading my book when a wave of panic washed over me, i felt my chest tightening and my breathing quicken. i knew what is was but i didn’t know who it would be coming from this late at night.
suddenly tony’s memories flooded my mind, i felt tears prick my eyes as all of his painful memories clouded my brain.
when it was finally over i ran out of my room and to tony’s, i didn’t bother to knock i walked in and saw him trying to control his breathing. i walked up to his bed and got in, i pulled his body into mine and ran my hands through his hair gently.
“breathe with me” i said softly.
he did as i said and breathed with me, i moved my hands from his hair to his neck and rubbed gently. he looked at me, all i could see was fear and hurt in his brown eyes.
when his breathing got under control he laid his forehead on my chest, i feel his warm tears on my skin.
“how did you know” he asks his voice thick.
“my powers, i felt your panic attack and the memories that caused it” i answer and he sniffles “i’m so sorry tony” i whisper in attempts to hold my tears back as his painful memories cloud my mind again.
“i’ve messed up so many times and each time i lose someone in this case i lost half of the universe” he says through his tears “i lost the kid” he sobs out “i wasn’t supposed to lose the kid” he mumbles.
i’ve been staying with tony ever since the snap or ‘blip’, he needed someone and i just happened to be that someone.
tony and i left the compound and found a cabin in the middle of the woods. the cabin was absolutely gorgeous, it was very open with beautiful views.
in the last year that i’ve lived here tony has never had a panic attack, sometimes i could feel his sadness and see his memories. nine times out of ten his memories were painful and left me in tears.
a lot of the times i could feel his guilt, the images of peter turning into dust was a constant replay until two months ago.
“tony look at me” i say softly, he looks up at me “you can not blame yourself for what happened to peter, you fought as hard as you could but there was another fight going on somewhere where you and no control” he nods at my words.
“you have fought so hard and you need to rest, i hate to say it but there is nothing we can do right now” i say softly and he nods “and dont hide from me, if you ever need to come to me i am here and i don’t plan on leaving anytime soon” i say and he smiles lightly.
“thank you y/n for everything” he says softly and i kiss his forehead lightly.
“anytime tony”
tony lays his head in my lap, i run my fingers through his soft hair scratching every so often. we sit and talk for what feels like hours until tony falls asleep, i move him lightly so that i can get out of bed but he groans.
“stay please” he mumbles sleepily.
and i do.
