Just a Dream

This is my contribution to @emceesynonymroll​ Wacky Drabble Prompt #16.  The prompt is Was I not supposed to? This is pairing M!Kayden Vescovi from the Royal Masquerade AKA Salvatore and my MC/OC Helena Everhart.  Today’s events in Chapter 6 of TRM have me shook and I can’t think about anything else right now, so this is what you get:) 

Word count: Nearly 12-damn-hundred (sorry)

A/N: All characters and locations belong to Pixelberry, some dialogue is straight from PB as well

Warnings: Nothing really, mostly fluff, maybe Renza’s scheming ass poisoning someone, the only cursing is in this freakin’ intro

@masquerade-reimagined It's been half a year already?? Damn 😔 I miss our favorite, amazing, most wonderful LI of Choices! 😭

Now I can either give you some quick, short answers to your questions or write a whole essay. 😬 it's complicated...🤦‍♀️

Firstly, as I told you before, I wish I could draw...😑 *sigh* if only they would have given us Kayden artwork.. Yes, I still think about it from time to time, lol 🤫

My first impression before I played it? Pretty funny... Kind of annoyed that we got another book tied to TRR. (If I was annoyed back then, imagine how I feel now 🤣). When I started playing I just thought it was okay.

And my impression after I saw our *ahem* God look-alike, literally heart eyes emoji! 😍😝 But really, it only got better from there... and my obsession worse..

My favorite characters are...um, pretty much everyone besides Renza, Cyrus and Damon (yes ofc he's the first place, I hate him so much ughh!!! (Spoilers) Ever since he killed that bear/ wolf/ fox in ch.3. -That's the worse in my book. I was mad the whole day haha. No, but really. I hate him!).

Why did I choose my LI? I mean, if I didn't... I'm sure I would need a check up 😆 I'm not going to start talking about how, why, and just how much I love him now... okay? @masquerade-reimagined you already heard enough. 😌

Oh, i was hoping for a lot of things to happen. Maybe not all in one book.... the war thing would've been a good plot (for a second book). maybe some characters need some closure, some need to fix their relationship with one another, not saying which ones tho. Getting more into the magic stuff with Kayden (not in the way that you're probably thinking 💀). AND, at some point, being able to keep the crown and make our LI king (or queen? If she's female? Not sure how it works). But hey I'm happy with the end we've got too. (Happy Kayden = happy me 😇)

Hmm funny fact: I renamed Hunter as Dominic 😂 (fortunately that lasted only for about 3 chapters...). I don't think I wanted to rename Kayden (mostly bc it was odd whenever I tried to read a fanfic on tumblr 😅) so I kept his default name. Not the most 17 century name but I went with it 🤷‍♀️.

Ah, also, The first time I played, I renamed my MC Elise, not knowing there's gonna be another Elise around. Eh, my stubborn ass didn't want to change it until I finished the book. Don't worry, now it's Josephine!

Yeah, not my proudest moment..

Ah, I miss this! 🥺 I remember sometimes thinking this book was a joke 😅 I mean, that's exactly how some of them were behaving. But I still had a good laugh every friday. It was not the perfect book from the begining to the end but I loved it despite whatever ppl were saying. Not only it was fun but it lifted my mood every time! ❤ (let's forget the few times it made me anxious as hell- to the point I couldn't sleep).

Btw, I think the humor in historical fiction is really underrated.

Oh great- now I have flashbacks from movies/series I used to watch 10 years ago!! 🤯

That was fun!! I want more! 🤪

It's been half a year.

Today marks 6 months since the finale of TRM. 6 months without my favorite LI. 6 months since this tantalizing message popped up on my screen...

I am still not over it. And I can't believe a) I haven't replayed it yet and b) I don't have more screenshots from chapter 17. Or just in general, really, but chapter 17! 🤤🥵

So hey! Do me a favor. Help a girl out and share your favorite TRM moments with me.
